Its a Japanese version of Dollar Tree, many cheap low cost items. Our friends loves this place and always buy a bunch of stuff on every trip.π€I find most items are cute but cant imagine they last more then few days of normal home use. But if you are into Japanese fun snacks they offer many items here that are reasonable. They have 9 kinds of Pocky.π
Classic Daiso. Incredible value for the prices ($1.50 per item). Kind service as well
So many little cute and useful stuff with cheap prices. Fun time to spend to look around the place. Everything looks nicely displayed.
Full of cheap price products. A Japan style Dollar tree but of cause not everything are $1. Also, some items are worth even it costs $4-6. Some of them are good quality but some of them are not worth. Pay attention mostly Made in Japanβs products are better. For your information! π
Nice, organize cheap low price..$1,50 Most items thru out the store... ** But NOT ALL items is $1.50... some items could be HIGHER than $1.50..- $5.. *nice staffss.. **but need more floor staffss, ** (@least needs 2have 2floor staffss to assists customerss..);; so customers can asks questions easier..π
Great Japanese discount store! My daughter loves this place! I got some good stuff to use with my phone here too, like a USB-C to USB-C cable.
Its like a combination of Target and the $0.99 store, and Japanese. Very good store for buying almost anything you can think of.
Affordable household and miscellaneous nice to have items. Must check out for most people.
The store was brightly lit, clean, and fully stocked. Great experience here.
Some things money cant buy, but for the little gadgets that make simple tasks a joy or i didnt know you could do that types of household toys, it is definitely worth browsing through the whole store with an open mind. Daiso products are typically cheap, but many of them are surprisingly great value because the manufacturers dont have to spend too much on packaging and marketing, and put all their costs into the materials and design. It is definitely a spot I go to for simple tools, or for ideas when I am planning a new recipe in the kitchen, or trying to find a more cost-effective tool than one I found online... enough said; i love this place! Cheers.
LOVE this store. Been shipping here for years. And now they gave s
This place is always clean and their products are quite good. Probably the first place you should stop by for your basic essential needs.
The sign in there said everything $1.50......what a great deal!
Cheap plastic factory. Surprisingly overpriced for qualities
Love this Daiso in Irvine. Lots more stuffs than other Daiso weve been through
Awesome place for nick naks.
Great prizes.
Its a neat store for small Asian items. But, all sales are final and you cant return anything. Sometime the check out line can be long and move very slowly.
As always, the awesome & the agony. Reeling it in, as I $1.50 myself to $40, again...but its so artsy fartsy! And it wont be here tomorrow!!
Always loved this place when I was in Korea. Good price and the quality is okay. A lot of stuffs are 1.50.
Always a pleasure to be able to spend time inside Daiso with my loved ones, while finding products I never knew I needed. λ€μ΄μ λ€ μμ΄!
Always fun to walk around and see the cute little stationary items, decorated gift bags and fun plush pillows. The snack assortment is a draw for the kids...there is always something trending on the playground at school, that brings us back.
Brought my mom here. She was down. I love getting containers π
Found good some of the things. Kitchen knife was good. I can find cute red pocket for luner new year.
Big. Clean. Cheap.
Love Daiso, lots of fun and useful things that I didnt know I needed
This location is great. They have a variety of things, snacks and packaged foods. Cheap, unique and always leave with somethings. Parking is abundant. During this COVID they close at 6pm during the week.
Great store to find all the stuff you never knew you needed, at a great price!!
Nice little shop for cheap items
They got a lot of snacks I like and other stuff too
Great quality items for $1.50!
Good products for really great price! Customer service should be improved as customers have to walk up to an employee to ask questions. Employees should also note that some customers do speak their language, as I did have an incident with an employee speaking negatively about a customer thinking they would not be heard. However, this store gets a 4 stars for always keeping their stores neat and more recent employees have a happier attitude.
Love love love Daiso!!! My kids and I are shopping here almost every week. I definitely recommend Daiso to everyone. They are very inexpensive, and they have a variety of products.
Good stuff for cheap
Love their Disney & organization merchandise. I always walk in intending to get a few items and always leave with 2-3x over! π
Great for knickknacks.
Cashier was friendly. And found more goodies than anticipated. Love you Daiso.
Great little place ..
A step above 99Β’ store. Place is clean, relaxed, majority of the products are from Japan, so gives a sense of quality. Their inventory varies from time to time so be prepared to do some digging. But the staff is pretty good at help finding things for you
Weve been shopping here a few times, lots of cheap stuff here with good quality. Even if we dont want to buy anything, but if we come in here of course something will be bought :)
Great place to find variety of items at affordable prices. Its like a Japanese 99cents store, except most of their prices are $1.50, and theyre not all made in Japan (you wish), mostly made in China. I come here for 1-2 items, but always end up with a basket full of different stuff. Check it out.
I love this place. It has a bit of everything, starting at $1.50 which is most the store but if priced different it will be on the item. All employees are so nice & helpful
Store is super nice and the environment is very friendly. Staff is also super helpful and can help you with anything you might need. Lines also go very fast.
I love this store I bought everything I need for my room
I love Daiso but this store has the worst customer service ever. Although the younger employees are kind, the older ones are very aggressive and rude, sometimes even yelling at the customers (their English is not the best so its sometimes hard to understand as well)... Im Japanese and Ive never seen a single Japanese store with customer service as awful as this one. I felt really disappointed and sad after coming here so I would recommend going to the other Daisos.
We enjoy the candy and stationary. Bring your own bags to put your purchases. If you forget they charge .22 cents
If youre looking for low cost, dollar store items but In a clean organized environment; then this is the place for you! This place is always fun to browse and find all kinds of fun small items without breaking the bank. Workers are friendly as well
My wifes kind of place π
Daiso is a great Japanese $1 style store. It carries items for $1.50 & up. Basically everything is $1.50 each. They have stationary items, holiday decorations, snack foods, kitxhen ware, cleaning items all the way to clothes and so much more. Each store has similar items but kind of specialized in their neighborhood needs.
Love this place.unlike Dollar store always clean and well stocked and lot more sections.
So clean and the staff is very friendly. The products here are priced just right. It just reminds me of Japan and getting certain items reminds me of great memories there.
The employ are very helpful; the products are great and CHEAP.. if you like to buy often and like to make yourself happy: Daiso is the cherry on top!βI love it.. I always find something for my friends OR me;-)))
Probably one of the bigger daiso stores that Ive been to.
This is one of my favorite locations, it is so big. Unfortunately, sometimes many items are out of stock.
I think its a bit bigger then the one in Tustin
I can get useful goods for cooking, gardening, tidying and studying. Most things are $1.5
It is really cheap and their is also great and fun stuff you can also find. And even the pencil are so so cheap
You can find anything you need here. Almost most of the prices are only $1.50. Good find and good quality. I love shopping here. Try it out yourself, and youll get addicted. Haha
This heritage plaza Daiso store is the worst one which I ever visited. Previously there was a very unfriendly Asian employee in register, today another Asian cashier with mask in the morning, she was rude and unfriendly as well. I Will not shop there anymore. I believe she should be trained better. I didnt feel any negative one in other Daiso unlike this store.
Cheap products, a step above junk. Employees are generally rude and most lack any semblance of common sense. For example, the checkout line was massive and there were only 2 checkout cashiers. I had to go over to a woman stocking the shelves and ask her to get another cashier. Another stock woman was rude when I asked if she could get another cashier.I would stay out of this store, but my kids like to buy some of this junk because they carry trendy toys popular with grade cool kids.
When I was a child, I loved going to Woolworths mainly because I could always find something for 5,10 or 25 cents. Now, I LOVE going to Daiso. Most items are $1.50, and I can always find something I like. Each visit is like an adventure! The stores are always clean with a great variety of merchandise ranging from practical and functional to frivolous and fun. I especially like the colorful displays and sometimes puzzling Jinglish slogans on some merchandise. You can find everything for automotive to zen at Daiso.
Love Daiso! I can find so many things for cheap here and for the most part they arent really bad for the money. I always get disposable items like shower caps here and small bags. Love the sheet masks! You can also get the Kona coffee here for cheap compared to some other places.
First, I love going to dollar stores. So this review is a bit biased. This dollar store has a bunch of things from Japan which makes it a unique experience compared to the ones you would normally come across. If youre in the market for inexpensive tools for cooking or cleaning or organizational boxes this is a great place to go. Ive even found some good tea cups here.If youre in the area definitely stop by here for a visit. They take credit and cash but they have two separate lines for them. Also, they do not accept any returns so make sure you want to keep what youre purchasing.
This Daiso is always a treat with fully stocked shelves and pretty guests. The cashiers are fast and friendly and hard working.
Good goods....
Clean store. Fast, responsive cashier line.
Daiso is always a great fun family shopping experience! Lots of interesting items ! Useful household items, stationary and art products, clothing and food items. All items about $1.50! You have to go to experience Daiso!
I need help. I have a Daiso addiction. Just a couple things... $50 later...
They got a few things that I need but hard to find in other places. Price is also excellent.
It is similar to 99 cent stores but with Japanese stuff. Most of the items are $1.50. No returns or exchanges. Credit cards welcome. The store is very clean and neatly laid out. Much better value than 99 cent stores, in my experience.
Fun to shop here
The store that makes you buy things you dont really need. Great selection π
Everything they have is so CUTE, and AMAZING prices. My kids, and I love it good costumer service!
Its fun going through the whole store, lots of surprising items you never thought exist. Kind of a mish-mash of stuff for everyday use. This particular store is huge, lots of variety, and very orderly. Prices are $1.50 for most items although there are items which cost more, like $3.00 each. Accepts credit cards, parking available. Happy hunting!
Daiso is a wonderfully cute shop with fun items for around $1.50, but it fails at customer appeal. Rude customer service wants you to pay and leave, and the store itself is unappealing. Workers speak in an asian accent, often hard to understand. The Daiso store overall is great (I love their mechanical pencils and pens), but the customer appeal is a big part of a stores rating, and Daiso Irvine fails in that aspect.
Everybodys quite friendly and helpful here.
Like a 99Β’ store, but almost everything is 1.50 unless otherwise marked.I have found excellent items here, even tools which lasted longer than some Home Depot items.Excellent for home shopping.
Is a great play to buy stuff for cheap
I love Daiso. What a difference $0.50 makes. I dont like shopping at dollar stores because I feel like the items will break the moment I walk out (and have). For whatever reason, I find I am able to use Daiso items for years after I purchase them, and there are so many useful gadgets there.
Low prices. Awesome materials. Great deals.
Guess what. I went to Japan and everything I bought there I found here. Its like a slice of Japan or the Japanese 99 cent store. Really fun and cheap! Dont forget to buy a pack of mango high chews!
Such a cute store and the staff were friendly.
Very nice and big. People at the check out were quick and friendly
Great deals and selection, lots of little knick knacks, gadgets, and things you wouldve never thought of, but now have to have.Only complaint is the management at this location. The younger employees/college kids who work here are helpful and friendly. The older first generation Asian staff/management come off as very curt, rude, and stiff. How bout a smile once in awhile? You have a job in Irvine in a building with A/C and lots of color. Life cant be that bad can it?Also, I know you have gobacks to restock, but a simple excuse me or pardon me goes a long way. Some people just dont get the concept of personal space.Plus, .20 per paper bag and a tax on top of that?Oh well...Jesus said to them, βTruly I tell you, the tax collectors and the prostitutes are entering the kingdom of God ahead of you.
Good place to shop small house items
One of my favorite stores for knick knacks, great quality for very affordable prices. Give it a try, you will not be disappointed.
Loved everything...
Nice, clean, and polite! I love coming here
I call it the Β₯99 yen store. Its like a .99 cent or $1 store, but better. They have the greatest stuff (most random practical things) all for pretty cheap
I havent been there but I saw a YouTube video on this store and it looks really good. Unexpensive items are the best I love your store.
