Buy your Kia anywhere else but here. My husband and I went in with our kids on a Wednesday. We knew what we wanted. The sales rep seemed to understand what we wanted and moved us on to the finance person after agreeing on throwing in some car mats and of course the lease price. After almost 2 hours of going back-and-forth with the finance person trying to convince us of a purchase instead of a lease we finally Got what we asked for. They really wanted to sell us on an extended warranty and a higher price. They kept saying that they don’t play games but after I was through and tired along with the kids they finally brought the price down. We started on our way to pick up the car. I asked the sales rep to put the mats in. He said it would take a while. I didn’t argue because we were tired and ready for the one hour trip home. Turns out we get home and the mates are not the right ones. After the sales and finance person insisted that there was an Edison rebate for going EV I called Edison and they have no such rebate. My husband called a manager at Kia for an explanation and resolution but got nothing but attitude and poor customer service.
I bought a used Toyota from this dealership and the process of working with the people here has been hellish. I will say, all the sales people I spoke with seem very friendly and professional.1. The alignment was off, so we got a note from the salesperson so we could get it fixed by the service department. We brought it in, it wasnt fixed. We brought it in again, it still wasnt fixed (they said it was, but it still drags quite conspicuously to the right). And it took a lot of effort and talking to salespeople to get them to get service to fix it the second time, because they werent inclined to help us.2. I went to cancel the maintenance warranty, which I was led to believe by Sammy in finance would cover a lot more than it actually did! (We found out the details when we went to the toyota dealership). Then I went in on one of the service visits for alignment and did the paperwork with Sammy to cancel it. He was so unprofessional and rude, trying to talk me into keeping it. I had to say no at least 4 times. Fast forward two months, I call in and lo and behold, no record of me filing that paperwork. Still being charged for that extra warranty.Find a dealership that has better reviews not just for salespeople (they are very nice here), but for the whole process. My husband had to go in and basically threaten to talk to everyone he knows about his experience here before they hooked us up with service the second time.
Utilized Consumer Reports build and buy program to put together an excellent deal with Kia of Irvine. Specifically, I worked with Mr. Tommy V, a salesman who was competent, gracious and customer centric. He let me drive a number of vehicles until I found the Kia Soul that performed and felt right. A beautiful sparkling silver one fit the bill. Paid cash for it and deal was done. Recommending Kia of Irvine and Mr. Tommy V., without reservation.Side Bar: I mentioned to Tommy, that I did not have any transportation. He picked up the phone and had an Uber ride at my doorstep in 2 minutes. They picked up the tap - thats fantastic customer service!Oddly, the Kia dealership closests to my house told me that I would lose the discounts if I paid cash and didnt finance. Thats false information. I called CR, about that form of exclusionary pricing and they adamantly indicated that the same pricing holds true for customers! Thanks, CR.Dutifully, I listened to Mr. Pauls speech about extended warranties. That should have been presented as an option and not made mandatory. Oddly, though, Paul did not seem too excited about his own product. Dryly he ran through the numbers. Didnt buy, I already had that stuff covered with Geico. All in all, a great day in sunny SoCal; yep, embraced the gridlock driving home.
I think Kias have really improved, and they have a great line-up right now. I had a negative experience at this dealership, but I was also a bit of a waffler, so I understand if they might be frustrated with me as well. I also know its a high-stress time, given everything thats going on in the world, so that might explain some of what follows. The salesman I worked with was very nice, but also quite aggressive, and didnt always tell me the truth. At one point he said he only had low-trim Sorentos on the lot... until I said I was really very interested in getting a Sorento, at which point he told me he actually did have a higher trim, did I want to take a look? I also mentioned that I had heard that a PHEV Sorento was in the works and he said definitely not. (It actually is coming, which was easily verifiable via Google, though it may not be sold in the US. Why not just say that?)I felt bad for the guy, because after coming in three or four times to try things and putting down a hold, I decided not to buy. I felt worse for him after what happened while he was processing my return. While waiting for him near the front of the dealership, I witnessed another sale falling through. The young associate who had failed to close the deal seemed a little disappointed, but it was nothing compared to the manager looking on. After badgering the young couple for making my guy come in on his day off, he returned to the glassed-in employees-only section and started screaming at one of the men seated there. I was the only customer left in the dealership, so perhaps thats why he didnt lower his voice or even close the door as he bellowed expletives right in his employees face over the lost deal. I skedaddled.
Went there twice and service is consistent: Terrible! I dont know how these people can even see one car. We walked there twice and nicely asked to be helped. The answer was here are the cars: open the doors! When we asked about the differences between the different models : look on the website. That was this one agent on the floor - and really not interested in talking to me at all . The rest of the staff is a whole bunch of guys talking about their personal lives, not even looking at us while we were inside the showroom. At one point of time, one of them walked by us with no mask...AGain we were inside. These people are not serious. If you are seriously looking for a car, avoid this dealership at all cost.
I contacted these guys to buy a Kia Soul EV (electric car). I worked with somebody initially who told me I couldnt buy a car from here except in person. I had to go through a couple other people to find that wasnt the case (I dont give up easy). I told him the car I wanted, and when he was writing up the sales agreement, it was a different car (same model) with a lot more miles. They would not give me the car I requested for the price listed on their site (it would have been $1.4k more than their asking price), so I cancelled negotiations. I got a call about a week later from Jay who said if he could get me that car for the asking price, would I buy it? Of course! It came back a little more expensive because of window tinting, but now it was reasonable. Jay was great to work with. Really my only complaint was that sometimes it would take him a day or more to get back to me on things, so it took several days to nail everything down. When I took delivery of the car, the accessory battery was dead, so I couldnt even start the car, and they hadnt reset settings on the car, so I couldnt charge it either because it was outside of the times the previous owner had set for charging. Once I finally got it figured out and charged, its been a great car, except for the accessory battery, which when 100% charged tested out as bad at AutoZone. It died on us multiple times on trips of 20 miles or more, so we couldnt lock the car, and couldnt start it when we got back in. We had to jump start this so many times until I bought a new accessory batter. Now we havent had to jump it since. That battery really should have been tested before the car left the lot.
Jeff is excellent. Ask for him when you go to buy a car. We bought our daughter a KIA Forte this weekend . He gave us a great deal and had us in and out with the car so quickly.
Great place! Bryan in the used car department was very helpful! Will buy my next car there!!
Alex Abboud was very helpful in getting us in the car we wanted for the price we were looking for. He was very knowledgeable about the model we looked at with the features it came with and the safety ratings. Easiest car buying experience so far. We are very excited about our new Sorento!
Adam Arceneaux was so amazing and helpful. He got me in exactly I wanted and more! I recommend going to see him! Had a great experience here !
Ron and jay were extremely helpful to help me buy my dream car.

Very unhappy I spent three-four days dealing with an internet sales member “Annie Cuevas” “who by the way reached out to me to renew my lease with a new vehicle. I gave her my budget and after 30+ emails back n forth she stated that she can honor my price. I sent an email back reconfirming the deal in detail and she again confirmed all pricing. I called today to go in and sign paperwork and they stated that we made a mistake with the deal, “we thought you were referring to a different vehicle” Not sure how that is possible since I confirmed the vehicles make, model and year. Anyways, I asked if they are able to honor the deal considering the time I have wasted going back and forth and not to mention the fact that I was promised a price. I truly believe this is their tactic to lure customers into their shop.Anyways please do your homework and make sure you check out other dealers. It’s just unfortunate because now I lost an amazing deal with Hyundai which honestly deserve an awesome review for the constant follow up and phenomenal customer service provided.Thank you for reading,France K
Buying experience went smoothly, bought thought fair app.
The manager jay and his associate Matt were really helpful. Left with a new car!
Howard got us a great deal and made the whole process super easy!
It was ok to work with Dima. She was very friendly buying my Kia there but then she did not send me the missing Navigation maps that were supposed to be in the car.
