They were able to fix the issue i had, however, unless i was calling them i would have never heard back, my motorcycle kept getting pushed to the side so they could work on other track bikes. I was given wrong information numerous times (about parts being ordered, the motorcycle being ready, them having the right tools).4/1/20To add on to my review, when they put the alternator rotor back on they didnt line it up properly with the counter balance so the bike shakes vigorously. Took me a little to figure it out but will be fixing on my own. They may know a lot about street bikes, but it appears they dont know anything about cruisers

Easily the best shop and experience I’ve had ever. Came asking about information on a tune and Kirk had no issues explaining to me every single detail and question I needed to know and more. The environment is super friendly, awesome trustworthy service and a fair flat price out the door. The staff is very passionate about the bikes that come in and seriously care about the quality of work they preach. Honest about prices with no surprise fees. This is the only place my bike will get worked on besides my garage ever again. If you’re debating on a tune. Get it. My bike is a beaaaaast now

Fantastic place to get your motorcycles repair/maintenance/upgrading done. David also hooked me up with Genuine Repsol seat covers free of charge and honored the price quote that an ex-employee gave for tire hugger installation. David is very conscientious and provides the ultimate level of customer service. Thank you David! Im your customer now for ever as long as I live in CA.

Great work and fast service done here at a decent price. Brought in my conventional forks (off the bike) to have them rebuilt, provided my own AllBallz parts (against their warning). Will definitely come back in the future

Excellent service, I had a full exhaust system put on my GSX-R750, as well as an ECU flash and throttle body alignment. The owner, Ryan, as well as the rest of the staff are very friendly and they know what their doing, after they finished it felt like I was on a whole new bike! I would absolutely take my bike there again the next time I need anything done.

My husband went to metric method, the worst experience ever!He contacted them Oct 1st & brought the bike Oct 5th (dropped plastic tube into crank case). Was told they may not be able to look at it until Tues or Wed. Wed (9th) he called - we have flywheel off & getting ready to extract tube, should have ready tomorrow. Called Thurs (10th) - I was wrong yesterday, we loaned tool & are trying to get it back. Called Fri (11th) - we have flywheel off, however mechanic is about to go to lunch, will update you later. Called again –“ we have track bikes that we need to get out for the weekend”. (no apologies, clearly not a priority). He emailed Kirk, Mon (14th) got a pic of tube extracted. Went Tues (15th) to pick up & after initially starting, it wouldn’t turn over. Left overnight to be put on battery tender. Called Wed (16th)- receptionist it wasn’t battery, after full nights charge still won’t turn over. He later received email for auth to diagnose issue. Called Thurs (17th) - no one has looked at it yet, we are going to try today. Called Fri (18th) - my mechanic called in sick & I have other bikes I need to work on & get ready for the weekend. (that sucks but not his problem now that you’d done this to him for the 2nd weekend in a row). Called Tues (22nd) – “we were working on track bikes all weekend so we didn’t have a chance to diagnose it. (making it very clear this is not their priority). Called again 22nd - it’s the woodruff key, we are ordering it Called Wed (23rd) - we didn’t order it, we can’t find a place that has it, do you know of anywhere close that can get it (he ordered off amazon). Finally, they called him & said we found a place that can order it and it will take a couple days. Called & was told it wasn’t actually ordered. Spoke to receptionist & explained frustrations & received a call back later that the part was ordered. (no apology for the service or delay). Called Tues (29th) - it’s in & we are hoping to get the bike back to you on Wed (30th) or early Thurs (31st). No call back, they never call him, he always had to call them. Called 30th – “they didn’t have time to look at it”. Called 31st – “they had other bikes they needed to look at & that he would get his back Fri morning” (really?!). Called Fri morning – “had to flash the ECU on another bike & that it took longer than expected but would get the bike back to him that evening”. Called that evening – “didn’t have the flywheel tool & were going to have to have a friend drop one off Monday” (how do you not have the part?). He spoke to Ryan (the owner) & told him the issues & he said he would call him back. Finally called him later (second time anyone has actually called him) & said they were able to get it fixed. He finally picked up the bike Sat 2nd after a month. Serious lack of communication & customer service. We understand you have other clients but do not tell us that you are putting them before us, that is rude & unprofessional. Its not our problem that you aren’t able to prioritize your work accordingly. Turn down the job if you can’t meet the deadline. Having to call to get any kind of update is ridiculous. Even worse, they never apologized for the delays or lack of communication. It was like he was annoying them by needing his bike back. We ride with a big group & depending on the service we got, we were going to refer them however after being treated this way, we’ll never go back here again & will be sure to let others know my experience.

I learned about Metric Method via word of mouth. First thing I learned was that I should always call/email before I show up just to make sure they can squeeze me in. David was quick to respond to my email to let me know that they can get me in at an agreed time. The amazing Pam greeted me at the door and dialed in everything that i needed for todays visit. Both David and Pam were the most hospitable, gracious and professional individuals Ive ever met from a motorcycle shop. As far as Im concern, theyve won a customer for life.

I needed a new tubeless tire purchased online mounted and balanced on the spoked rear wheel from my 2016 BMW R1200GS. As a first time customer referred by another motorcycle accessories store, I stopped by with the new tire and wheel off the bike arriving mid-morning on a Wednesday. I assumed I would have to leave it and pick it up later in the day, but they said I could wait for 30-45 mins. I decided to run an errand in the area and when I got back in 40 mins or so later it was ready! Great service, super friendly and very knowledgeable motorcycle people!

Nearly Brand new FZ07 was knocked over onto a curb in a parking lot and needed a frame replacement. Got the insurance quote and took it over to Metric for the first time and David helped me out. He ordered all the parts necessary and I dropped it off a week later. His time estimate for repairs were spot on. I opted to spend a little extra for a rear shock and ecu flash and he didnt charge extra labor for the shock and knocked the cost down for the flash because the bike was already getting torn apart. All in all my experience at Metric was superb. Very professional and clean shop. About a week later my bike developed a knock in the front end over bumps and I stopped by, prepared to drop it off over night but David took care of it on the spot.Definitely without a doubt the shop Ill be going to from now on.
