What an awesome experience. I love this place. People are always in need of an honest mechanic. They ARE that honest mechanic! Many of us have had bad experiences with dealerships, where the dealership needs to drive revenue by overcharging customers or performing unnecessary services. Ive had it happen to me one too many times, so a friend advised me to go to Hondura, and it was great advice. They are friendly, empathic and FAIR. They have experienced mechanics and provide outstanding service. I will be taking my car there again.

Price is good. Paul (owner) is honest. They use mainly dealer part. They do good work. They know how to work on Toyota and Honda vehicles. I been going there for the pass 15 years. I trust them with my vehicle.

Ive been going to Honduras for many years. Ive sent my friends and they are very satisfied and they are one of the best car repair shops ♥. Ive never had to take my car back for anything that was repaired.

Drove all the way from Louisiana and arrived at 345pm.,only to be greeted by a Japanese, Chinese lady who rudely told me she didnt have time. The website office hours indicated that they closed at 6pm. What a lovely way to greet your customers and keep them coming back.

So far, I have had 3 different vehicles repaired at Hondura & has not found a reason to complain.

Please Stay away!!!! or get a second opinion this people are crooks. They tried to rip off thousands from my mom for work that she did not even need. We ended up going to the dealership for a second opinion and they were able to fix the issue alot cheaper and with a warranty. Becareful If it doesnt sound right get a second opinion because this people will scam you for alot of money fast if you let them!

The most awful car experience that I’ve had. I was referred here after moving to Texas. Was told I needed a O2 sensor. After leaving check engine light came on. Was advised I brought the wrong part but they installed it anyway. Came back the next day then they said they installed right part. Was told to go home and get my receipts. Returned with my reciepts.They advised to take the part out that was installed to return it where I bought it from. I’m not the first but won’t be the last to have the most terrible experience that I’ve experienced over a simple repair at Hondura Car Service at 1727 State Highway 356 Irving, Texas 75060. It’s worth paying more at the dealer rather than paying less to have a expensive issue later on. Save your time and money.

I had my car tune-up and oil change. I also had brake light came on. They checked and fix all my issues. Now my car is running so smooth now.

I been going to these guys for YEARS. My mother and step dad use to take their cars here. One time my Lexus has quit running, couldn’t find out what was wrong with it. So I had David to check it out, unfortunately they wasn’t able to locate the issue and didn’t charge me a penny for it. That’s customer service

They are good at fixing my car if I tell them the problem BEFORE they work on it. Their mechanics are not good at diagnosing problems with.my autos. I recently had a brake noise in one wheel and they couldnt find the source. I went home, jacked up my car and discovered brake pads were just warped even though they were new. I replaced the pads myself and no more noises.

Pete and his crew are always accommodating, fairly priced and were prepared for social distancing! Been going to them since 2008 love them!

This is the only shop in Texas that I trust my car with. They are very customer service oriented. The prices are good and the service is fast! I honestly drive 1 hour and 30 for my repairs.

A very trustworthy mechanic. Charges for parts and labor are the best in the market. They know what they are doing when they service a vehicle. Do speak to one of the owners-Paul, he is patient and understands the issue when you explain on call and can make recommendations right off the bat. Sometimes they might not have all the parts on the shelf, but are willing to fix/replace parts if you have the new ones. Low wait times and permanent fixes is what we all need. Got a radiator replaced & bay area cleaned from spilage; the performance of my vehicle was as good as it should be. Be sure to request them to check your timing belts when you have fixes under the hood, you never know when you might need them replaced. I would recommend them.

It is very rare nowadays to find such an honorable mechanic. Honduras could have charged me a lot of money to fix our Honda CRV but they didn’t. I will only take my Honda here moving forward and I will also recommend them to anyone tried of being overcharged or taken advantage of by shady mechanics.

Charged me $500 to fix my car and I waited all day for it to get done. 30 days later my car is not working and they expect ME to pay for a tow and see if they can fix it THIS time. Just because they seem busy does NOT mean they will fix your car RIGHT!

Weve been coming here for about 6 yrs already and they know us and give us the best service! They have a courtesy driver that will drive us home if we ever have to drop off our car to have it serviced and then the same driver will pick us up when our car is ready for pickup! So convenient and takes the headache away of having car issues! Also, this is still down the street from our home and actually right near Waffle House! Perfect!

Dont go here if you care about your cars looks. Imagine the recklessness that is hidden which you cant see. Nothing against Paul, best mechanic I know with reasonable prices. But hes not the one working on your car, its the other mechanics who needs to think before they do stuff. Very reckless. If you take off a bolt from the wheel and you scratch and chip up all the paint, STOP, dont go to the other 4 bolts, dont go to the other wheels! COMMON SENSE! Paul was not there that day so the people he left behind even had the audacity to not take responsibility for the damage and even saying youre not a mechanic, you dont know what to do. I know not to keep damaging a customers car and act like nothing happened! I managed to get a partial refund for the work I had just got done but the ignorance and attitudes was what made me write this review. This probably could have all been avoided if Paul was there.

These guys are my new go to place. Everytime I have had an emergency, since I have found Hondura they have always gotten me in on the same day, and come in under the price I expected to pay.My car is old, but they dont burden me with things I could get done. They tell me what I need to get done to keep the car running and which are priorities. They are not in my pocket for every dime they can squeeze me for, they keep it real at least with me. I would definitely recommend them.

I came to them a few times and build trust and seemingly I was blindsided with some horrible work. They didnt not replace a simple belt which was provided and now ripped and tore apart my engine wires costing me tow and tire alignment

Went there to get my brakes changed and not 3 months later the brakes are grinding and making a lot of noise when trying to stop. i went back and they told me its normal but then took it to a different shop and they didnt turn the rotors and brakes need to be replaced and rotors. terrible customer service

Horrible service and warranty. These people do not care about you and do not warranty their work as well. You will also find that they cannot communicate properly which leads to a lot of misunderstanding. I am very disappointed.

I started taking my cars to Paul about 5 years ago after another mechanic (chain company) gave me a ridiculous price. I took my car to Paul and mentioned nothing about what the scamming guy said. What Paul told me was totally different than what the scammer told me and $1200 less! Every since then he has my business!

Paul and his team are the real deal, honest work at an honest price. No fluff and no up-sale, direct and to the point. On two occasions after receiving 4 digit repair quotes from Acura, I went to Paul for a second opinion and sure glad I did, Pauls quotes were a third of what Acura wanted for the same work. I have used Pauls service for 14 years. He was on vacation recently when I had a problem getting my car started. It just made a ticking noise when I turned it on. The second in command (a true shyster) said it was probably the starter. I had it towed and had a new starter installed for $300. Every day after that for 7days, it was very difficult to start. Yesterday, all I got was the ticking noise. Called a tow truck. The driver asked what was happening and I told him it wouldnt even turn over -- just a ticking noise. He put a charge on the battery and it turned over immediately. It was never the charger. So I could have spent $150 for a new battery and saved myself another $150 that I didnt need to spend on a starter. Horrible experience and I will never go back.

Went to fix my a/c fan not working issue on My Mazda6. Paul Ripped me off by charging $195 to change blower Fan resister which was very easy to replace. when I complained he said he is charging cheap. they fixed it in half hr. that includs oil change ( $30 extra).I have come to him many times but this time he cheated big time. will never come to him again.

This is regarding My Honda Civic 2006 LX Car AC Compressor Change. Charges are 30-40% low compared to Market but Parts they use is also less price(They used Denso AC Compressor with 1Yr Warranty). Before repair when I showed few AC compressors from AutoZone and Amazon(~$180-$300) they said those are cheap but again they replaced the part with in same range.Overall Response and Service is Good and it will be more effective if they communicate/use better parts.
