We had a great experience with Nelson Cabinetry and highly recommend them and the customer service representative we dealt with, Edi.The cabinets look great! All but a few assembled together perfectly but for strength, we also glued and finish nailed the cabinets. We ordered both kitchen cabinets and vanities from them and only had 2 small issues, both of which were dealt with quickly by Edi. Overall, it was a stress-free experience. If you buy from them, note that they dont stock end panels. We had to buy our island back panel from Home Depot. It was almost the same color but not quite, and its not as high quality as the rest of the cabinets. So, if youre handy with tools you can assemble these RTA Cabinets and you wont go wrong with Nelson Cabinetry. Ask for Edi, he was awesome from concept to sales and after-sales service.

I bought bathroom cabinets just to see if they were good quality. They were great quality cabinets with all plywood boxes, no particle board or MDF, soft close dovetail drawers, and European style hinges. Excellent service and price. Cabinets are of excellent quality and look great. I purchased 19 cabinets in total, 16 for my garage and three for the laundry room. A screwdriver, some quality wood glue and some screws to fasten them to the walls. All-in-all a great company. I would not hesitate to order again.

Customer service is fantastic. Cabinets are good value for the money. Only issue I had is that the assembly instructions are not the greatest especially on lazy Susan corner cabinets.

Great product, better customer service. Our kitchen travelled from the US to Panama and my only complaint is that the cardboard did not handle the trip well. That said, not a single bit of damage of so much as a missing screw. The lack of instructions in the box may require you to hold internet training for your assembly crew, but the assembly is very straightforward if you grew up with IKEA.

We spent a full year planning our kitchen and half way through we decided to move it to a different area in the house and start layouts from scratch. I asked Dino for countless layouts and he always responded with exactly what I asked for almost immediately. The cabinets are great quality and easy to assemble. The trash cabinet was not we we expected, the bins were extremely small so we made some changes and made it one large bin. We love them and eventually ordered more than planned. I will be using them for my next remodel of my laundry room and main bathroom.

We love our new cabinets and top notch customer service from Edwin. It would be hard to imagine any better service. I actually ran across this company by accident when reading reviews on Costco’s reviews on their cabinets. The person wished they had used Nelson Cabinets. I started doing my research to wind up submitting my floor plan and was amazed to receive a 3D design in two days. It was amazing to see what it would look like with a wall torn out and new white cabinets. I must admit I was skeptical at first. I finally decided to start with a bathroom vanity to see what the quality would be like before I spent the money for an entire kitchen. After I got the vanity in I was very confident in my purchase. I have built several homes and remodeled several flip homes and the quality was the best from any house I have done plus the price beat my custom cabinet price when I built my house in the year 2000. I was on a tight schedule since I was tearing apart my kitchen over Christmas break and needed to put it back together ASAP. My kitchen cabinets arrived in about a week. This is hard to do with most companies. The cabinets all arrived in great condition and the order was 100% correct. We had one plastic piece on the bottom of the drawer out of everything that needed replaced. Edwin had it shipped out immediately and I installed it right away. All I can say is if you want to save on labor and put together your cabinets, these are worth the money. I did use glue and occasionally used my Brad nailer but don’t think it is needed. Just figured it couldn’t hurt and makes me feel a little more confident. I have to mention Edwin again. We made several changes to our plans as we got more serious. Sometimes Edwin had changes to me the same day. One night I sent him a message and he had a reply the next morning. I think his email was around 3:30 in the morning. The guy seemed to work all the time. Even on the weekend. I am waiting on countertops but will post pictures after those are installed.

I really like this company. They are responsive and helpful and the product they sell is impressive. The cabinets we ordered came in about a week. One was slightly damaged, so a new one was sent. We only had to email them and send pictures of the damaged parts. No hassle. The cabinets themselves are wood and very solid and they go together easily. The finish is durable and looks beautiful. I love the soft close doors and drawers and the ease with which we put it together. BEST of all, I love their customer service. I referred my son to this company and he bought his kitchen cabinets from them as well and is very much pleased with them. Highly recommend!

We were pleasantly surprised at the quality and cost of these cabinets. They were not difficult to assemble at all (watch the videos!) Our designer worked with us closely to accommodate our kitchen design challenges. The company quickly resolved some sizing glitches that occurred as well. We just completed a full gut renovation of a 1960s era kitchen. The cabinets for a 10X12 room were reasonably priced and the flat rate shipping cost was very fair. All company communication was extremely fast and responsive (Emma you are the BEST!), even on weekends and evenings. The whole process; from quote to order to invoice to shipment to delivery to (small) problem resolution through completion was an exemplary example of what customer service SHOULD be. The cabinets themselves are very nice. The assembly process was quick and easy and the extra features like the soft-close doors and drawers are impressive for cabinets in this price range. Great to work with on our kitchen design that went through several changes over a long period of time. I had a basic design in mind when we started but their suggestions and changes worked out really well. They were great about communicating before and after delivery and immediately responded to any questions or issues I had. The cabinets themselves are all wood/plywood, no particle board. Drawer slides and hinges are high quality soft close type. Drawers are dovetail construction. We got a custom kitchen with higher quality cabinets than we could have purchased locally for a very reasonable price.

If youre willing to put in some time to assemble (and be patient and careful) this is a great company to use. Solid wood, good quality, great shipping speed, friendly responsive customer service. Be careful when turning the cam locks that things are lined well - dont force them. I broke a couple and had to come up with my own fasteners (which was easy since its solid wood). For the price, you come out way ahead of what custom cabinets typically cost.

After careful analysis and comparison of various brands including Ikea, I decided to go with Nelson Cabinetry. The price was the best and the reviews were great. Edwin helped me revise the kitchen plan several times and was extremely polite and professional. As it happens sometimes, our delivery wasnt perfect and two of the parts came scratched. We recently purchased our new kitchen cabinets from Nelson. I was a bit skeptical initially making such a large purchase online, and having them shipped across the country no less. However, our service representative Edwin was absolutely exceptional to work with. He has been available every step of the way from answering questions to revising quotes. He has even answered emails on Sunday evenings and while on vacation.Our cabinets arrived on 3 pallets tightly wrapped and without any damages at all. The cabinets themselves are very sturdy and look beautiful in the kitchen.I happened to nick the paint on one while we were installing, but Edwin responded to my email within 5 minutes with the Sherwin Williams paint code so I could purchase touch up paint.Having shopped around at several cabinet stores, we had several estimates, all were double the cost. We researched as much as possible and ultimately purchased our cabinets from Nelson. Their price tag does not reflect the quality of the cabinetry. Nelson’s quality and customer service are outstanding. We would absolutely purchase from them again.

Thanks!The best thing about this experience was the quick shipping. Once the boxes were unloaded and the invoice was paid the experience went all downhill.1. They included no instructions (the video on their website was a completely different style and this not helpful. I called and was promised PDF instructions and a call back. It’s been over a month and neither of those things have occurred. Luckily I was able to utilize a bit of trial and error2. They did not include the piece that attaches the toe kick to the cabinet feet. I carefully explained what was missing and sent pictures and they literally sent me the exact same thing I already had. Needless to say this caused delays in the project. They promised they would pay my team to come back out to install the toe kicks but never followed up on that.3. They seem to be full of apology but devoid of remedy. I’m always promised a call back that never occurs.

I would definitely use Nelson again! We originally were going to use Ikea, but they were out of stock so to keep our deadline we went with Nelson. Their cabinets were great, we did add wood glue and some finish nails to make sure they were rock solid. There customer support was great, they mixed up a cabinet and sent us a new one at no charge!

Very good cabinet company, I was very pleased with their customer servicewhich is hard to fine these days. They always responded quickly to any of the questions that I had. The quality of the cabinets is also very good. I highly recommend this company.

Overall very pleased with these cabinets! Because they are ready to assemble, they are much cheaper than cabinets if the same quality. Solid construction, easy to assemble, and the soft close features are excellent. Customer service was good and they got back to me in a very timely manner. I just installed them and will update later on the wear and tear they take.

Cant say enough good about Nelson Cabinerty and the cabinets they sell. I buy and sell homes and condos, and have always bought name brand cabinets from the big box stores, I personally think these cabinets from Nelson are better. This is the second set Iv bought from them and will continue in the future, the price is unbeatable and the quality as well. You will not be disappointed.

My review is just going to sound like everyone elses! Was going to go with Ikea or HD, but are Nelson cabinets are (slightly) cheaper and much better! They have solid maple doors, great paint, and the customer service is excellent. I did the same thing as another reviewer and used some glue and finish nails to make them even a bit more solid. Also agree that the dove tail fit can be tight--we chipped one or two hidden edges. Tony was extremely helpful with quick plans, drawing, and invoice, so we are currently working on Kitchen #2!

The cabinets are solid construction and easy to assemble. The White finish is excellent and it should wear well.UPDATE: 6-09-20Today, Adriana from Nelsons contacted me directly and apologized for the communication issues we experienced. She recognized that they do have issues and stated that she is actively working with her team to address these issues especially when there are back orders or other issues. I appreciate her honesty and desire to make things right. I hope customer service will improve as a result of our discussion.Two comments:1. They charge way too much for what they call a Repair Kit which is actually only a small less than 1 pint of paint. You can get a qt or more of touchup from Sherwin Williams for less than they charged for the repair kit. Just ask them for the Sherwin Williams Paint Code and they will provide it.2. They did ship a wrong cabinet but they did make this right.While my overall experience was challenging, at times, I feel that Nelsons has a solid product and based upon their desire to improve communications, I would recommend purchasing RTA cabinets from them.
