Great place to shop south central asian foods and goods, very friendly employees. They have halal meet which is a plus. They a small jewelry shop with a very rude seller. Also a halal restaurant attached to the store.Overall a good place to shop the items you could not find anywhere else (desi good)!!!!!!
I always enjoy going to India Imports, they have a clothing shop inside as well as a restaurant. I recommend the Goat stew, delicious yum yum
Good experience with placing my order for 2- dozen chicken patties, they were freshly made and quite delicious. Since I was picking up my initial order I bought another dozen meat samosas. Overall good experience, the POS workers can do better with some good training on upbeat customer-service.
I like going to the store when Im thinking outside the box and I want to have me an experience with lots of different spices but I mainly go there for ginger and ginger and garlic paste which I love adding to my daily dishes when Im cooking at home I hate that they stop selling some items but hey they also have a restaurant on the side havent yet tried it but Im definitely going to also they have fresh cut up meat in the back if you like goats they have it if you like lamb they have it go and try out Indian imports you wont be disappointed
I often used to go to this place for groceries, but on my last visit there was this fat cashier lady who was very rude and didnt have manners. She even confronted me and we had a discussion, may be she was having a bad but thats no reason to argue with customers, and another worse part is when I talked to the manager about it, he was not helpful and was supporting her without having any knowledge. The managers should know that arguing with paying customers is not good.If they behave like this to regular customer, I dont know how the fat cashier lady and the manager behave with others. So we all are avoiding this place forever, there are lots of other choices.
Here I buy my ingredients to make tabouli. The Bunches of parsley and cilantro full and fresh and the produce prices are very reasonable. If I was to say anything negative it would be just of my own ignorance of not knowing the many other products offered and how to use them. There is a small restaurant attached they make the best eggplant three and a half Stars
Its our regular shopping store and they give great customer service
Good place to go get halal meat. Butchers will cut it for you, too. Been going here since 2001, love it.
The food was great from the Cafe. The store was a little expensive as compared to other Indian stores selling same merchandise.
A good desi store with a range of products. Halal meat and Bangladeshi fish are available but the store is not so good for vegetables or fruits. Its better to check prices and expiry date on products. Prices are inconsistent and vary noticeably. Only a few of many people there are friendly and readily open to help. Hope they should focus on creating people to people connection and loyal customers - not just on profits.
The restaurant inside the store must be avoided. The food is very disappointing. So called chicken samosas are stuffed with fried rohu fish. The store has limited stuff as compared to most Desi stores. Will not be visiting again.
Indian, Pakistan and some Middle Eastern groceries. Nice place to go and shop Indian and Middle Eastern foods.
Halaal, desi, grocery store. I always shop here.
I ordered beef biryanis had a bunch of hair when I called back to the restaurant guy was like they don’t know how to make the food also workers, dont wear a hairnet. It seems like they don’t care what they are making and feeding us. After a long day of fasting, I couldn’t even eat. Guys if possible check out your food at the restaurant. These people things theyre the only one people can shop. From cashier to manager rude.
We brought a carromboard here. The quality is too bad. The store doesnt bother or consider to take the board back. We asked for store credit not a refund. They were not ready for that too.Do not buy any sport good from this store if you look for quality ones.
Nice staff good food.
This establishment has a track record of unprofessional behavior, namely coming from the female owner/manager. Today I purchased 3 biryani plates, 1 butter chicken container, and naan. When I returned home I found that the Styrofoam MELTED from the heat of the biryani. When I went to the store to get a refund, I received the refund, however the female manager/owner started an argument with me saying I shouldve called to ask before coming in late to return the food (I came driving from a far location and was running important errands). I asked her why she was selling such a poor quality, UNSAFE product to which she responded you probably went and did that yourself. If you dont like it, dont shop here, even though she did not go to the back room to check the boxes I returned. I responded by saying my family and I will no longer be shopping at her establishment. In a different incident, my father shopped there for Eid groceries on the last day of Ramadan. When he inquired about his rewards points she claimed that he didnt have any and begun speaking to him in a disrespectful manner. She has a track record of unprofessional-ism. Frankly, I do not want to risk my familys health with such poor quality products or shop in a place where respect and customer satisfaction is not a priority. Pictures of todays biryani are attached to this post to prove my statement.
You can find most of the Indian food brands here. There is also a halal butcher shop inside it.
Very good quality of ethnic foods
The cafe food is freaking AMAZING!! Chicken & Goat Biryani is my go to!
Majority of their products are expired, do not buy anything here, their product will give you food poisonings. I dont know why the health department have not taken any actions.
Hands down Best place for Chicken Biryani! Large to go tray all for less than $6! Everything is always fresh. I take the drive from south Grand Prairie just for the chicken biryani. Chicken samoas (think that’s what they’re called) are also tasty!
Best place for fresh chicken and goat meat and Indian spices
I’m calling to order food and she telling me she can’t take order over the phone because is more then $20 I never see any restaurant doesn’t want to take order more then $20 I will never going back to this place and never order from this place
Big grocery shop specially for halal meat and grocery for Asians and Indian subcontinent people.
Normally have everything I need Everytime I go.
Please check expiration dates when buying from them. Because some stuff they carry are expired. Including the fishes. Super unprofessional, too much attitude especially the owner. Like okay being nice doesn’t harm people. The negativity is surrounded in that place. They are only famous because their store is the only place where you can get “bengali” food. Other then that everyone complains about their unprofessional attitude.
First time ordering here, so far no complaints. Ordered 1/2 a goat, cooked half of it and it was good.
Good customer service
Desi store with helpful staff
For the first time did shopping here. It was way much expensive and the vegetables are not fresh. Prices are 5 and over more than other Indian stores. Will never come to this store again.
Person at cafe, Shurmi, answers the phone and does not take your order. She answered the phone and left me on the call for 8 minutes while I could hear her helping other customers. I call the grocery and the woman who answered said she can’t help even though she’s in the room next door and she’s too busy for me. Terrible customer service.
Guys if possible check out the expiration date and meat weight, pay attention to the cashiers makes mistakes when you tell them they made mistakes, and then give you an attitude it seems like a manager and cashier want to make extra money.
Their male manager or owner is horrible. He doesnt know any customer service whatsoever. Beside that the store is Excellent.
Unprofessional and rude staff, they have no idea what’s the customer service is..
These people cheat with customers in meat department, We asked for whole goat and they gave us whole Lamb meat. When we informed them, they simply lied saying that they dont even sell lamb meat here. Please see the attached picture guys also the owner response to our previous review, he clearly mention that they dont sell lamb. When I went their I saw the Lamb meat when I asked the manager, he replied that yes they do carry lamb meat and he dont know who responded to your review.Cheater!!The reason for writing the review, whoever read this please be careful while buying meat from here.
Grt place for halal meats
Indian groceries and it has a restaurant also has a butcher shop. Variety of meat available.
Best food hands down and good service
I asked for fresh Paratha ..they cooked frozen paratha and gave me for $1.29 each. I ordered vegetable biryani they mixed the vegetable curry and rice and gave it as vegetable biryani.the vegetable curry was good but I dont recommend paratha and vegetable biryani.
Great place for South Asian food and groceries. The Cafe is very affordable and food is tasty
Lots of things you just cant get at a regular market.
A good collection of subcontinent grocery
A good store for Indian subcontinent based groceries, supplies and meat.
I really like this store but they are very racist they think that they are going to steal something from you when you enter the workers they start to watch you inside the store the last time you visit the store I realized that they were watching me I felt so bad because I am not a thief when I went to pay the cashier reluctantly attended me if you are Hispanic or African American do not enter this store why They are racist and the worst thing is that the business is aimed at Muslim and Indian customers. I wonder if they are Muslim, why do they behave in such a despotic way with certain people? This is disrespect and consideration and it is not the first time this has happened to me For this reason I do not recommend this place and if you are from another country and you are not Muslim or indu forget it, do not go through the same experience that it feels bad to be inside a store and that you are Watching as if you were a criminal if it bothers them so much that other people visit their store better that they close it and that they go to another place the plagues will come upon them for their lack of respect And consideration
Good one for quick grocery and meat
You can get fresh goat meat here.
Don’t go to this Grocery, they gave me whole lamb when I had given an order for whole goat. They don’t give the proper information.
Great place for food items tea rice flour meet
They are big time cheaters ! I bought cake rusk from them and they were bad, they kept it without returning or exchange . Very unprofessional attitude of the entire staff and specially the owner I think money has gone into her head !!!! I used to buy every month grocery from them around 500 usd, never going back ! Desi mentallity by saving 4 dollars she had lost her customer . Because of this incident I am opening a halal grocery store with excellent service no questions asked on return policy . Customer will be king ! Will keep you posted . Cheers !
Nice people
The manager of this store is very rude and unprofessional.... once I goes to this store i bought 3/4 items for my friend, at that time there is some electricity problem at register which I know, he calculated these items in his way that much also I’m ok but when I request for manual/ handwritten bill for me because that was for my friend... he appears in such a rude and unprofessional ways.. and I leave that items. He don’t know about customer care in America.. So I didn’t suggest people to go store like that ...
A huge fan of the chicken Momos served at the cafe. The price is unbeatable for food that is fresh and delicious. The dipping sauce is AMAZING. I have yet to have momos served with a sauce as delicious. Takes 15 minutes to prepare, so do call in advance.
The meat place is disgusting honestly if you ever see the their meat place you will stop eating meat. No hygiene very dirty and smelly and shelf looks so crusty and bloody ewww it’s a nightmare and ok top of that the meat are wayyy too expensive. I would rather buy meat from Walmart or fiesta then here . At least at Walmart the shelf are meat are nicely cleaned and washed .
If I can give this place 0 stars, I would . Do not shop here unless you want to be discriminated against . The manager of the store does not like African people, she will have her cashier harass and follow you around the store, to the point where she will kick you out of her store, even if you ringed up all your grocery. The old lady with glasses is filled with hate, all her workers are scared of her, she abuses all her workers ! An evil lady ! So I please advise you, if you’re black, don’t shop here because we are not welcomed here!
I had a big order to place its so hard to understand the accent he said maam my queue is too long please hurry and place a order I told him never mind will have my husband there to place order and he hung up. He was there within 5 min and not 1 single customer pffft. Someone is lazy on the job
Thats the cleanest Desi grocery I have seen in whole Metroplex and Much organized Im proper way...there Meat department guys very accessible Can tell them however you want your Meat to cut up, Prices are reasonable not cheap nor the expensive.. One stop Shop
Good for Halal Meet and indopak groceries. Not much of Vegetable selection
This super market has improved, from before. It was cleaner, all the aisles were nearly organized and I got the impression that they are better stocked than before. Going there was a good experience. Not to mention they have the best meat shop.
Love shopping here.
Great food... I wanted something new and they helped me out patiently... great customer service
I love this place. Always nice, clean and stocked. Courteous and helpful staff. Reasonable prices👍
My family and I enjoy getting all our meat, produce, and dry products from Indian Imports, however with the CVID-19, we are purchasing all our grocies online, is there anyway I can order online and pick up upon purchase?
Only section worth mentioning is the meat section where you can have relatively fresh meat. Other than that store is full of expired products and NO customer service. They are also hiking the price up of the cafe menu and the quality of the food is still same or in some cases they are worse.
Favorite place to buy meat. They have great selection and staff is nice. Best part is that the meat is always fresh. The cafe is well priced and good portion but the food is very average.
Its well but it will be best if their vegetablesCollection will be better rather then now
The grocery store is awesome if youre looking for anything from south Asia (India, Pakistan, Bangladesh etc). The cafe has really good food. Personally I prefer Sana in NRH for food, but the grocery store is pretty awesome.
Bought 2 bags of rice from 2 different makers. They were both infested with bugs. Drove back to the store to return them two days later and was told that because I didnt keep my receipt they would not be given my money back. They said you could have bought these at any Indian store.I ended up with bugs in some of my other food as well. And I wonder, should I be keeping every single receipt I get? Of I do it will never be from this filthy store again. It is Sunday. I told the manager that Monday I will be going to the Irving Health Department. He just shrugged. No doubt theyve had dealings with them before.I am really disappointed with these guys. They have list my business. If I can offer three words of advice it would be Dont go there. Ever.Ok thats 4 words.
I always visit here my touchdown Dallas and injoy their spcy food excellent
Not a clean place
Over priced. Don’t worry about service & all people is working there treat like u is fool. Never been shopping.
I didnt go there
Meat is very bad quality, just got home and the meat i bought for $140 smells so bad. Make sure to smell the chicken before paying for it. Guys in the meat shop were not wearing masks, one of the guys were coughing over the meat- not safe!!
Would like to give them 0 star. They sell expired products. I went there 3 times and most of the food products(packed) were expired like a year ago. They obviously dont check that. Before this review, i have notified manager and stff several times about the expired products on the shelves. Then when you go to the register, the cashier charges you more than the actual price and then you have to spend more time to clarify that. Wont recommend this store for food shopping.
Nice store. Not many vegetables, but a good meat section. Lots of frozen fish. Good layout to the place and the cashier was friendly. Id go back.
Way too much water on that meat. Please take a look on that
Good fresh food
Great store with the variety of Desi grocery! And every staff member is very helpful and knowledgeable!
Perfect place for finding various Indian subcontinental fish. I think the prices of the commodities are very reasonable. A very good place for marketing Indian grocery.
I love that they always have everything in stock.
Good selection of fish. Love the easy layout of the store. For Bengali folks, its a hidden gem.
Excellent place to shop for South Asian food items. They also have zabiha halal beef, goat and chicken.
Always find everything Im looking for
I always go to the butchery here. The chicken and mutton is freshly cut to my liking. They also sell Tandoori cuts for chicken too. Have not tired the fish here, yet.We can also buy traditional Bengali pickles here, like tamarind and olive pickles. They have Bangladeshi patali gur too ! As a Bengali, that is a compulsory winter treat. The pita bread here is so fresh ! They sell a lot of varieties of bread, but havent tried any other yet. The prices are about .50c cheaper than the neighbouring Patel Brothers. The only thing is their veggies are not fresh, which is fine.
It is really a nice place to get our indian food and goos easily.
Owner is a super nice guy. Good collection. Big shop. Only problem is : they are rigid on some policies and rarely listens yo customers. When you reach 500 usd shoping, they give you 20$ free grocery. Very nice place.
I like this place. Overall everything about Bangladeshi and Indian groceries you will find here. Prices are not much competitive, could be little though as so many stores are around there. I really like their poultry, mutton and beef. They have a wide choice of deshi frozen fishes and snacks.
Good prices and selection of spices. They carry fresh turmeric root in the produce section.
The employees are very rude 😑
Good customer servive. The kind man at the register informed me of his similar like of dates. Sukari dates
Great store to get Indian groceries and Halal stuff
Store is nice and pretty well stocked but a bit confusing. But you can get most anything you need to make zIndian food.
It is a very good store with good quality of meat and it has a variety of meat like fish, chicken, mutton, beef, pork and many more. I really liked the store and it’s customer service.
My favourite grocery store for halal meat
Good food..kudos
I would never shop here again. People working here know nothing about customer service. Very unwelcoming behaviors. The cashier did not bother uttering a single word. The quality of products was very low. Lots of product were found expired. This place smells bad and weird.
Its wonderful store, I buy my food andMy meat very fresh, I recomand this place.
