This place is really special. We first purchased our kitchen island pine live edge slab back in 2016. It is our favorite focal point in our house. In 2017, we then purchased an old farmhouse beam that I stained and used for our fireplace mantle. Prices are very reasonable and the staff are always friendly. We will absolutely come back in the future.

Worked with Anthony for a custom dining room table. We chose a live edge slab after a visit to the showroom (which is awesome) and had a one-of-a-kind table soon after. Awesome company - already planning our next project.

If you are looking for antique or exotic wood to create a rustic look to your home or workplace, this is the place to go...it is worth the drive. I was looking to get yellow pine to replace some damaged floorboards and they had it. The place is amazing and filled with a large variety of antique wood products that will spark your imagination and the service was great. If you work with wood as a hobby or as a professional, you need to visit this place. You will not be disappointed.

If I could, I would have rated my experience with Real Antique Wood (RAW) 6+ STARS (or even higher, 10 STARS...you get the point)! From day 1, my wife and I had an AMAZING experience. The showroom in Irvington is INCREDIBE, almost difficult to put into words the variety, craftsmanship, quality, and uniqueness of their product offerings. My wife and I worked almost exclusively with Anthony S. from Day 1 and he is one of my favorite people in this world. Anthony is super honest, full of incredible ideas/vision, and extremely professional and courteous to meet changing client needs/wishes. Anthony helped bring to life our new AWESOME bar room to complete our fully renovated farm-style home. Anthony recommended an awesome bar counter-top made from a tree imported from Costa Rica, along with distressed and dark shiplap siding and floating shelves from a barn taken down in PA. If that is not enough to get you in the door at RAW, Anthony and one of his colleagues (another incredible dude) INSTALLED THE ENTIRE bar on a Friday night (not kidding) in order for us to have bar functional and ready to use / celebrate for our daughters birthday party the next day. WHO ELSE DOES THAT!? Everyone and anyone that has visited our new home not only compliments the bar but will also ask where did we go for that....simple answer, Real Antique Wood! Fantastic service,even during the pandemic. My wife and I were looking for a mantel. The showroom was larger than anticipated and had exactly what we needed. Staff was very helpful. If not, based on the inventory just on display and quality of the workmanship on display, they could have made whatever we needed.

The variety and samples were amazing! I was like a kid in a candy store. If youre a tree hugger like me, repurposing these beautiful pieces is giving a fallen tree a second life.

I just bought my new reclaimed wood floor from Real Antique Wood and I am absolutely thrilled with it ! Anthony and his team were wonderful to work with and explained everything to me and helped me through the whole process. We were looking for a piece of wood for our wrought iron table. We did not want glass. Something unique for outside that would pop.They had precut circular tops made of Indonesian boats. The planks were different colors. They are colorful and worn. Definitely a center piece for discussion.The craftsmen are very nice and helpful. Tons of wood to chose from. They also build custom pieces.We also needed a metal top for our fire pit. They recommend a black smith. She will be making the table top for our fire pit.All around we had a wonderful experience!! Definitely a 5 star.

Superb craftsmanship and an amazing selection of slabs. Turnaround was totally reasonable and we love the final result. Feels good to know we have a one of a kind locally made piece instead of some mass market thing.

Everyone is very helpful and they have all kinds of phenomenal reclaimed woods, doors and slab. Definitely worth a look if you are looking for a nice home remodel project.

My husband and I were looking for a Mantel for our living room fireplace just before Christmas. I searched Google and came up with this place. I called several times with no luck of getting someone on the phone so I left a message. Several days passed with no call back so I took to searching Google once again. I found another plac and called them. I got a immediate response to my call and request for pictures. The next day I went to Boards and Beams and got the perfect Mantel that they showed me. My husband installed it and it is just gorgeous. I am a happy camper now. But, the reason for this review is that now after Christmas and New Year, I finally get a call from Real Antique Wood and the woman begins telling me that they were very busy and sold out of the Mantels. So is that a reason for you not to return a call? I am happy you were busy and sold out...good for you but, why not return a call to let me know. So mush for customer service at Real Antique Wood.

I had an idea and a picture of an intricate table I wanted to build for my first woodworking project. I went to just about every mill in New Jersey looking for the right wood and a lot of guidance. The team at RAW were so incredibly helpful, and instead of discouraging me from taking on an ambitious project, they actually ENCOURAGED me to do it, custom milling all the wood for my project to make things a little easier for me. They gave me beautiful, quality wood, and a year after completing my table and matching benches, Im starting my next project. They are great! I have gorgeous dining room furniture that catches the eye of all my visitors, and Im proud to say I built it myself, but I never would have done it if not for RAW.

Anthony made us beautiful custom barn doors for our closet. The craftsmanship and quality is outstanding. They truly are the premier company to go to for all reclaimed wood projects!

We found the absolutely most gorgeous old factory floor boards at Real Antique Wood ... they turned the look of our living room from bland to beautiful! And the folks at Real Antique Wood were very very helpful in helping me with figuring out wood selection, sq footage calculations and price-conscious delivery.

This is a strong place with good people and they have a quality collection of old story wood. They worked with me real nice on a custom order, did the work well, and were real friendly about it.
