Very good food and nice and friendly staff👍😃

Just off the main highway route through, turn off the you will find this great little diner, I saw a few motorbikes outside & the car park was full too. So decided to stop, I checked into the hotel next door. Then popped in for a couple of beers, the menu is all USA style, with a nice selection, I ordered Dons Chilil, steak (chunky) fries and small salad, now this is where the similarities with the US are also the same, the portions are BIG!! The food was great, the service too. The place was packed out and I really enjoyed it, the decor was cool and the whole place fun. Great place..

Poor service and medium quality food. Waitress forgot 2 out of 5 orders. Maybe it was just a small mistake, but also food quality is not amazing as mentioned often in here.This restaurant was suggested as one of the best restaurants on A7 Highway. But food quality was okay. I ate different meat meals in many restaurants in Germany, but it was tasteless meal.

Highly recommended unless you dont like raw onions or raw peppers.On my second visit to this place we stood up and left after waiting for more than one hour and then getting the impression that our order had been lost. And instead of apologizing the waiter got smart with us, saying that if we knew so much about running a restaurant we should do it. ... The place was almost empty. I would actually rate them zero stars.

The folks at Dons Diner made my first visit to Germany exceptional! I would recommend this venue to any visitor to Germany looking for a genuine local experience. Certainly great value for dollar during Agritechnica, or any other Hannover trade show!The food was great, the staff were welcoming regardless what of the language challenges, and the hospitality was second to none. We stayed at the hotel for one night during a trade show in Hannover, and stayed in a neighbouring hotel the next night thanks to Marco (the owner), as he was fully booked.The food was excellent, reasonably priced, and the local atmosphere made us feel welcome.

Was man so alles findet wenn man auf Reisen ist.Geniale Läden wie dieser findet man zu selten im Deutschland. 1A Bedienung. Tolles Essen, tolle Atmosphäre. Ich komme sicher wieder.

We were given a very friendly welcome on the phone. Everyone was very excited and we were not disappointed at all:Don‘sDiner in the early evening had the best burger, tender steaks and we loved it.Should we be passing through or in the area again, we will all want to go back to Don‘s Burger!Conclusion: Fantastic, delicious and very friendly !! Immediately again !

Very nice staff, super great food. Totally clean place.It is worth leaving the autobahn to stop off.There is also a hotel next door where you can spend the night comfortably.

Discovered while passing through, employees are nice and quick, moderate prices and good quality, I had the ribeye with steak fries and onion rings, one star less because I had ordered medium rare and unfortunately it was medium well. recommendation

Very lovingly furnished diner and staff is super friendly.Food is delicious, for me the sauce could put off a little more sophistication, but thats a matter of taste. Otherwise VERY tasty and above all cheap!Definitely worth a visit.

Also erstes mal da gewesen, es ist zwar das Hochstapel Konzept, hatte da eigentlich immer schlechte Erfahrungen wegen zu wenig Soße und zu trockendes Fleisch, aber hier wahr es mega saftig und die Soße kann man bei den Burgern die keine inklusive habe dazu bestellen. End Fazit wahr von dem Konzept das beste was ich gegessen habe

Due to the excellent reviews, we had promised ourselves a great rest with delicious burgers. The portions were large and served quickly and in a friendly manner. Unfortunately the food itself was a disappointment.Conclusion - very greasy and still pretty poor in taste. Quality is different.

It was very tasty and the conditions are clearly doing their job. They are friendly and courteous, there is no problem with a higher tip. The ambience is a bit bizarre but I like it.

The waitress came up to me early and took my drinks and meals.They brought me cutlery with the nice, large drinks and, as I have to praise, also dispensers with ketchup and mayonnaise, which you can use at your own discretion and which tasted really good.When the food was then served, the overall positive picture was complete. Ive never eaten such a good and quality burger before - simply delicious!This is not the last time I have entered this shop :)

Service staff and ambience great but eating is that way

Wir hatten einen schönen Abend mit 6 Personen. Essen kam zügig und war lecker. Der Rucula Burger war übersichtlich mit grünen Blatt belegt. Getränke kamen fix und der Service freundlich und nett. Sehr gerne wieder. Für die nicht gefrorenen Schnipsel gibt es Verbesserungspotential, aber keinen Stern Abzug.

Always my pleasure! Ambience in the American diner look, nice service and good food. We love the Heart Attack Burger, but everything else is delicious too. We have been coming back for a couple of years and have never been disappointed. Even with two small, whining, hungry kids, we were served nicely and the little ones special requests were catered for.

The buns of the pulled pork burger were barely / not at all toasted. Otherwise the burger was okay. But conveniently located for a quick stop on the A7.

Unfortunately I had to find out yesterday that the quality at dons diner has decreased very rapidly.80% of the burgers only consist of old fries fat was cold, and the fries 🍟 (chillifrise) you had to look for the chillis, and fries werent quite through .....We were always happy to be there, but yesterday it was more than disgusting, plus drinks like non-carbonated cola.So dear diner, your food looks almost like a McDonalds, made without love ......My recommendation to put more emphasis on quality and to change the fat every now and then.Then you like to come back

Getting hungry on the long way home from vacation, briefly searched the Internet and ended up here due to the reviews and the proximity to the A7. There are enough parking spaces available and you can sit inside normally or in the smoking area or outside. The decor is American style and is actually quite cozy. Only the Asi families, who did not have their raging children under control, clouded the stay a little. But the restaurant cant help that.The selection of dishes is large, it was served quickly, the food was hot, plentiful and tasted delicious. From my point of view, the price-performance ratio is absolutely right. Where you usually pay 40 euros in comparison, we were there for just 30 euros, tip included! It is remarkable. Last but not least: the toilets are clean.

At Dons Diner you cant go wrong if you feel like a good citizen. But I also have to admit that Ive eaten better burgers. The extra bacon could have been crispy and not just briefly seared so that it pulls directly from the citizen when it bites. The burger sauce ordered extra was okay, but not awesome either.All in all good value for money and good dishes!

The Vegan B. is very expensive. As a side dish there is salad, but it was only the lettuce leaf on the burger meant. Was quite disappointing and previously declared unrecognizable.

There are clear recommendations for the Heart Attack and Country Burger ❤️ Unfortunately, we didnt have our cell phones with us and couldnt take pictures.
