What a great shop and shop owner!It was my first visit to Edison and quite overwhelming not knowing which stores to go to and which one of them would be reasonably priced?I started off at a shop where I immediately found a pretty simple but dressy outfit but wanted to look more. The lady kept discussing my plus size qualities and how I wouldn’t find anyone else.Discouraged not about myself but about the Indian mindset, I decided to hit up a couple other places but insane prices for very ornate beautiful outfits - but I wasn’t the bride.That’s when I stumbled upon this store.It’s small but has a great selection. She spends her time talking to you to find out what you would like and not everything is out of a Bollywood movie.Not once did she mention my size but instead, encouraged me in what I was trying on and what looked good on me. Sometimes, more often than not, the people are who make the difference in your shopping experience. So glad I found this store!

Edit:After I initially wrote this review, fake reviews were posted! Again, beware of this place!Customer service is GREAT because they want to trap you into buying items you’re not sure about/don’t actually like! When you go home and look at the item(s) more closely and see the imperfections, you can’t return it because no return policy! Should’ve seen the red flag from the beginning - don’t trust places with a no return policy.Terrible place. Cheap quality clothing. Not worth what they charge! I came in to return an item (without having worn it) and they do not accept returns for clearly defective items.Also, the woman who assisted me basically pressured me into spending more than I wanted to when I clearly told her I didn’t want to spend more than a certain amount. “Oh it’s only x amount over your budget!”I would suggest to go to another place if you can, especially if you have no experience buying Indian clothing - these people will DEFINITELY take advantage of you!

I needed to buy something for my Indian friends wedding (honestly I dont even remember how to say it - its like the thing that goes on your head). They were kind enough to tell me they didnt have what I needed and referred me to a few other stores on the same street who had what I needed. I appreciated that they didnt try to trick me into buying the wrong thing but made it easier for me to get my work done. Thanks!

I was attending an Indian wedding and had no Indian attire to wear. They walked me through their selection, helped me pick out something I liked, and ensured that the outfit fitted me properly. If you are not Indian and need help with this process, there isnt a better place to go.

Great collection and very helpful staff! Lots of different styles and trendy clothing. Staff took their time helping me decide and gave really good reccomendations. I will definitely go back for my next purchase!

I was on vacation to NewJersey and bought 3 dresses from Sakkhii. One of them had oil drops and the size said Large, but it didn’t fit as other Large dresses did. I am trying to call multiple times but they didn’t answer. This dress costs $150. It is waste of my money. Never buy from this place.

They were the most health and hygiene conscious store on oak tree road. throughout the pandemic, they were providing hand sanitizer and masks to all customers and enforcing occupancy limits. they even made customers put on sanitizer before entering. i really appreciated this because lots of the others stores on this street seemed to be behaving like the pandemic was over way before the vaccine came out.

Highly overpriced for the selection of clothes they keep. Got much better selection and prices at other stores.
