My girlfriend loves being thrifty and always gives me a hard time for not taking her to these value village places she keeps hearing about (apparently they dont have any where shes from). After visiting the cougar mountain zoo (which btw was fantastic) I took her here....and she loved it.We found a lot of cool stuff for our garden and a couple shirts. They had everything here and it was more organized than I thought it would be (I get stupid panic attacks in unorganized cluttery places. Its rather obnoxious). She enjoyed this place quite a bit.

Great store, we always find great items. Some items are a little high in price, if they can be found in a dollar store. But the items I’m looking for are at a great price. Donations are quick & easy, just make sure items that are smaller are in boxes ( it’s easier for donations to be collected) & our experience with the staff has always been great. The store has always been clean & organized when I‘ve been there.

As a frequent thrift store shopper, I appreciate how organized, clean Value Village shops typically are. Issaquah is exemplery! From the large items displayed on the front walk, yet placed so even I with a walker or cart to hold onto can maneuver, to jewelry counter attended by attentive staff, to the clean restrooms in the back corner, this store is well kept & stocked with good quality, previously appreciated items.Plenty of parking with sufficient disabled spots & ramp up the curb.Checkout can look protracted but friendly staff works efficiently to process everyone smoothly. They do close early at this time. (See photo.)Reminder Tuesday is 30% Discount for Seniors!Fyi, some one is going to get some very cute shoes!

The best place to buy high end furniture that people in this high-end area dont want. Best prices and quality items. Found two replica Louis XVII chairs and Thomasville dresser for $60 bucks!! A must go to for items for your home if you need practically new items in great condition. 😍

Been here to donate used items. Staff has always been very friendly and courteous. They are very helpful and they must realize that maybe half of the products they receive might not be sale-able but they do a great job of accommodating everyone. A good treasure trove if you have the time to visit every day. The parking lot is good because it used to be a grocery store. Sad to see the Redmond location close. This store also serves as the Electronic Drop Off site for King County so if you have old computers, tvs or similar electronics, in working or non working order, you can donate or drop them off here.

Would be 5 stars but they took out their changing rooms permanently and they dont give in store credit you have to do exchanges which is kind of weird, when Goodwill does in store credit. But its the only thrift store in Issaquah and their donations are really organized. Their store hours are also not great, its only open 8 hours and its packed all the time.

This value village is straight up stocked with brands everything you want anything you need and always contemporary and stylish their household goods not so much and its not very handled very well theyre sporting goods most part electronics usually are picked over but there are some spots there that typically dont get a lot of oversight and get a pretty considerable pricing along with the sales and coupons that they offer by being a member You cant really do better this spot is it better than the Redmond one used to be this one is fire.

The store is nice and well kept but my Complaint is of the the donation drop off. They made me go back and get a bag or box to donate some toys I asked for a manager and she didn’t want to make a exception or provide me With a box they have no signs saying they need boxes or bags I told them it’s my first time donating and they were rude and didn’t want to help me I checked online they have nothing that mentions mandatory box or bags I took pictures of the entrance drop off lanes and no signs about that. I didn’t even donate a lot for them to be like oh that’s too many they have to be in a box. I’m donating free things to you guys and you were rude way of running a place where your business is running by stuff we donate your paycheck is by stuff people donate.

The cashier gave me an additional discount. Staff here, are real friendly not the usual type of staff working a discount clothing store. Kudos Value Village.

I had a terrible visit to Value Village Issaquah yesterday. Almost everyone WASNT following cbc rules! They have one way stickers on the floor to help keeping social distance. 9 out of 10 people didnt care about one way rules. So, the small isles with people going every directions with crossing, each other. None of employees said or reminding about keeping the social distance or the one way walking in the isles.

Terrible experience today. I went to donate stuff and they declined because I dont have a car. I guess their policy is they dont take walk-up donations for covid protection. The problem is that the people in cars were getting out, grabbing donations from their trunk, and then handing them to the employees. Literally no different from what I was trying to do. I told the employee that I dont own a car and his response was literally I cant help you. I had a mask on and I was respectful but all this security theater is nonsense, especially when Im giving you free inventory.

I love VV in general but this particular store, the prices are outrageously high. $14.99 for a used shirt? It wasnt even name brand.. I can go to Marshalls or Ross and get brand new for less than that. I know. Its Issaquah. Ive stopped buying clothing at VV because theyre overpriced. I can get new clothes at a department store.

Sh
Review №68

Overpriced used clothing, huge store with not much inventory . Lines of donation outside & things being loaded on a truck to be sorted & sold elsewhere.Display cases almost empty but only junk jewelry, no collectibles. Shelves not even full, took 5 minutes to walk past. If they have sorters all they do is put out junk & anything that must be worth a few bucks goes away. This looks like the epitome of greed for profit, upper class people from the East side donate expensive goods and I guess they think $10-$12 for a used shirt is ok. The owners of value village meanwhile are buying up real estate, they bought a giant historic mansion on Lake Washington (probably a few) just to tear it down and rebuild. The only good thing that I can say about this store is that they are actually playing a recorded announcement over the speakers ( no doubt court ordered) that Value Village is not a charity organization .I wish people would really listen, its fine if you want to support them but for anyone that is actually donating and thinking that they are helping anyone to do anything for good, it is not this business. They have made millions & millions while loosely implying that they support other charities .Now if they actually had good stuff in the store, I was on the EastSide with time to kill, I might have bought something but it made it all the more noticeable that they are NOT even putting any name brands or collectibles out for a bargain. I knew they were greedy but to the very last knick knack, shoe or purse they are diligent .Not one piece of 925 silver in the case.

My wife and I were at the store shopping last Friday. We asked one of the people where they package the items to open up the bag for us to see if an item had a key. While waiting, the store supervisor or floor manager went up to me and was waiving her hands in front of my face, and was talking to us as we were little children that we are not supposed to be there. Explained what we were doing, she backed off. After confirming that the piggy bank we wanted did not have key, we left. Left the cart at the end of the eisle and explained to one of the front cashiers, that we will never shop there due to the poor treatment we received at their store. The cashier was friendly and hepefully she passed on the rude treatment we received from the manager.

Survives due to the extra junk the rich folk dont want nor need any more. Basically a flee market professionally organized.I use to shop here a lot but lately theyve been letting the shelves get pretty bare before they stock them again. The quality of this Value Village is better than others in the area. Hit or miss customer service. The weekends are sooo crowded and busy. No parking, long lines and crowded isles. Customer dont understand close quarters. I may go back to coming out here if other things bring me out here otherwise I may start coming less and less._____________________________I tried coming here several times this month 12/19 and the shelves are only half stocked and often bare. I think Ill stop coming here. Its almost like theyre struggling and saving the bulk of their items for the weekend crowds. I wonder if theyre going out of business due to the shelves being poorly stocked.
