It was a great experience from start to finish. I checked in with Lesa at the front desk. Because I had all of the paperwork filled out when I got there she passed my on to Dr. Hillard. She did some testing and we talked hearing aides. Im only 60, I wasnt expecting having to do this so early. Dr. Hillard explained everything so clearly and answered all my questions. I walked out with a test pair. This is only about 10 hours later but I am so happy I was inspired to post. It was easy, seamless, everyone was so kind and the best thing... I can hear. I havent said huh once today. Nobody has repeated anything and I kind of forgot they were in. Dont hesitate, give it a try. No money exchanged hands, they are willing to work with you until you are happy with your hearing aides. Its not only a gift to yourself, its a gift to your family members. I can actually hear my 3 year old granddaughter clearly for the first time. Thank you EA&HS

Today was my first appointment at Eastside Audiology & Hearing services. The office was very pleasant and the receptionist very cordial. My appointment began right on time, and Dr. Hillard was quite welcoming, yet professional.I was given a very thorough hearing test. I have had several hearing tests previously and this one was more extensive than any of the others. The office has the most-up-to date equipment so that immediately after the test was complete, we sat down and reviewed the results on paper as well as on a computer monitor. Dr. Hillards explanations are clear and she is very patient in describing her interpretations of the test results.Her explanations and recommendations matched my own hearing experience -- meaning that I was ready to take the next step to select the most appropriate hearing aid for my condition. Once again Dr. Hillard was thorough in explaining all of the options and taking the time for me to test several models until I felt comfortable with one.Though I dont yet have the new hearing aids, I can describe the process for selecting them was first rate.

Lovely front desk staff and very patient & helpful doctors at this facility. Scheduling was easy and the staff were very communicative. The doctor answered all of my questions and took the time to explain everything. I felt really comfortable and not rushed at all. Overall, I couldnt have asked for a better experience! I had not had my hearing checked since being a child but felt comfortable through the entire process. After many unpleasant experiences in medical offices, and more so since the pandemic (granted add’l stress & proximity to exposure could make anyone unpleasant I think), visiting Eastside Audiology was a soothing balm, very very pleasant for being in a doctor’s office under these circumstances. I was fooled by a corrupt and untrue rating. First time using hearing aid, any issues I have their response was you have to live with it.The worst case is, they gave me a hearing aid as temporary with wrong color and wrong size, now they refused to replace them with what they have promised. My experience with Eastside Audiology & Hearing Services was exceptional! Everything from scheduling, consultation, testing and diagnostics, the fitting appointment and even aftercare was remarkable. So much so that I gladly make the 40-mile trip when other clinics are closer. I tried several places during my search for better hearing solutions (Costco, two local Puyallup WA clinics). No one else offered the full services like Eastside. Specifically, real ear measurement during fitting appointment to make 100% sure they match the setting of your aides to the correction discovered during a very thorough audiology exam. I almost forgot, the testing both was the best I have ever seen, when the door closed, it was absolutely silent except for the Audiologist instructions and the tones coming from the test equipment.I am a lifetime customer and it is very true saying... you get what you pay for. And when it comes to me hearing clearly at work meetings, family outings in noisy environments, conversations with all the important people in my life or even nature walks, you cant put a price on really hearing and engaging in life again! Eastside audiology are the best. I have been their client for the past 15+ years. Recently I added on a blue tooth streamer for my hearing aid. They let you try out new equipment before you commit. The staff are super friendly, extremely helpful, very astute and always willing to help. I will recommend Eastside Audiology without hesitation. Dr. Hillard and her staff are the best.

I took my mother the see Dr. Hilliard, who gave her a very thorough hearing evaluation, followed by a detailed discussion of the results and her options for hearing aids.Dr. Hilliard was very kind, patient, and professional, and she listened carefully to what my mother told her, with the goal of finding the best instrument that would meet her needs without her spending a fortune.I was extremely impressed that she did not encourage my mother to purchase the most expensive models. Instead, she appeared genuinely interested in finding her the best product for her, at the lowest price possible. She even gave my mother the option of simply reconditioning her old units, if they were still functional. Dr. Hilliard is clearly a very caring, thorough, and knowledgeable audiologist, and I feel very confident entrusting my mother’s hearing to her care.

These guys are great. I live primarily in California and come to Issaquah to see our grandchildren. I have purchased my last set of hearing aids there and they have helped me more than my previous ones. On my last visit for cleaning they found that I had lost a hearing aid dome in one ear. They removed the dome and the earwax that had built up on the dome. I left hearing and feeling better. The entire crew are personal and professional. I strongly recommend them.

Had an appointment with Dr. Kingham for tuning my Hearing Aids with Rear Ear Measurements. Very professional and Dr.Kingham and the staffs were really kind and professional. Dr. Kingham is open for all the questions we have, followed up on the fit and comfort and carried over adjustments by providing new appointments and remote sessions. Really loved the hospitality here. I will recommend here for any Hearing Aids and tests to be done.

For the second year in a row, I was told that even though I showed some hearing loss, I didnt yet need a hearing aid. I had heard that a hearing aid helps deter further loss, so I asked Chris about that. She said I could borrow a hearing aid for a week to see if I could detect a difference. I discovered a slight difference and after a week asked Chris what she would suggest. She said she never tries to talk anyone into getting a hearing aid but if my left ear were like my right, that she would definitely suggest one. At that, I covered each ear separately while she spoke and was surprised at hearing a difference. I decided to go forward with the purchase. Having now worn them for 5 months, Im delighted with them. They are easy to wear and I enjoy the way they connect with my iPhone so that I dont need to hold the phone to my ear. I also listen to podcasts that way. Im just overall very happy and good knowing that my hearing will not deteriorate further.Heather Humphrey

The first time I met Chris was more than 20 years ago. That in itself has to tell you that I stick with the BEST! I have seen Chris advance herself as an audiologist over those years. The best part is that she has always been honest, trustworthy, educated (got her doctorate) and one of the best people I know. I hate to think of all that I would have missed if I hadnt found Chris. My life was sheltered and protective before I could actually HEAR. As a result I have been able to expand my career over the past years, with confidence. One of my main stumbling blocks was the use of the telephone. Without Chriss expertise I would not have been able to have a working career. I can only imagine how little I would have accomplished without being able to hear. As for her staff, Chris knows how to hire people that are just like her ... ready, willing, pleasant, caring, and always there for you. Just call the office to make an appointment and you will hear Lesas cheerful and sincere greeting. I just dont think the working world has many of these kind of employees anymore. I travel quite a distance to go to Eastside Audiology, after Chris opened her own business in Issaquah. I just make a pleasant day of it and look forward to each time I go. I truly wish more people with hearing impairment would have the same wonderful HEARING experience I have had over the years. I am so blessed!

I have had hearing loss for over 20 years. It took a failed Commercial Drivers hearing test to force me to do something about it. I found Chris and her crew through a referral and found them to be complete professionals, but also good friends on my journey to hearing again.Of course they do the standard practice of audiology, but their customer service is what makes them different. They have a small town type friendliness and have accommodated my emergency appointments, with little notice. I do not hesitate to recommend Eastside Audiology.

She is really nice. She provided carefully hearing test for me and let me try different pairs of hearing aid devices for free. It is ok that if the customer does not decide to purchase one. Lesa who is the patient coordinator is very responsible for all my appointments and questions. Overall, I would highly recommend them to the people in neighborhoods need hearing aids.
