This store needs to be experienced! Fresh, canned, frozen and dried, Winli has so much to see it could take you two or three visits! My son (19 yrs) and I love this store and discover new things all the time.

Wife asked me to get some May may and found just what I was after plus some. Good prices, nicee selection and coming from out of town its easy and convenient to drop in and grab something or pick it up on the way out.

Winli market is a small, mom and pop shop that sells quality and fresh produce as well as frozen, jarred, and canned products. You can buy boba tea, paratha and roti, noodles, kids snacks, tea, frozen buns, canned eel, frozen cod, mortar and pestle, steaming baskets etc. The owners and very friendly and kind and the shop is clean. I love to get my bokchoy, parathas, and frozen veggie buns from here. They even have the napa cabbage for home made kimchi! Very fresh and beautiful!

It has a lot of great items, but doesnt really cater to the Filipino culture.

I love this little grocery. They have anything you might need for your favorite Chinese recipes. If you cant find what you are looking for, just ask Jade. She is a treasure of cooking tips and she can read the labels when theyre all in Chinese.

Best Asian market around. Always nice and helpful, I generally call ahead before heading down to make sure they have what I am looking for in stock.

It helps if you have some clue what youre looking for because some items fulfill their legal requirement of English labeling with helpful names like Chinese vegetable but thats a manfacturer problem; if you cant read Mandarin and dont know what it is, its likely you dont need it. :)I asked about Jasmine rice varieties and brands of coconut milk, and I was happy with their recommendations.

We were sold rotten and expired food, brought them back for return, and got mocked for being stupid because anyone can tell they are not edible and it is not her fault that we bought them in the first place. She went on to give my mom and me a lecture on this is how America works. My mom is a nice little Asian lady and she gently protested that for a Buddhist (like the owner), we would expect her to be honest and respectful, and got yelled back that You are not in mainland China anymore. Save your attitude. and Just dont come back. I couldnt believe how nice the owner appeared at first and how she put on a different face when things went south.

People there are really nice. The woman at the checkout is super friendly and always give me advice about how to grow the produce they sell. Really cheap too but bring cash if youre not looking to spend more than $10.

The staff prepared raw meat without wearing gloves and hat. A lot of dried noodle packs are overpriced. Also many packs of mangoes and tomatoes are very old. But she gave me the recycled box.

Your standard Asian market (at least from your standard white-boy perspective) with big inexpensive packages of staples (rice, soy sauce, noodles, etc) and odd foods Ive never heard of before and have no idea what to do with. Shop there regularly.

WinLi has Asian (mostly East & Southeast Asian) packaged foods & ingredients for cooking, including sauces, spices, bonito flakes, seaweeds, noodles, snacks, frozen items, produce, rice, adzuki, soy, and mung beans, and a wall of ramen from a variety of countries. They also have some household items such as bowls, chopsticks, heavy granite mortar & pestles. They have a meat counter as well, though I havent tried it. Even though some of the same items can be found at a Wegmans, WinLi generally has better prices and has a much bigger variety. Also, the owner is very pleasant and helpful.

Best place in Ithaca to get asian food products. Its a relatively small store, but is packed with various asian sauces, condiments, and snacks. They are not the cheapest prices I have seen, but it is definitely reasonable. They also have a decent selection of asian vegetables. I dont recall seeing a good selection of meat.
