After 3 orders I finally got the cookie I had ordered months ago. The first time, they delivered a cookie with the wrong message. They refunded my order. Apparently they didnt have the right label so instead of telling me, they sent me a cookie with a smiley face. The second time they cancelled my order because they didnt have any drivers. Third times the charm and I finally got my cookie. It tasted great, but service over the few orders was hit or miss.

Cheap cookies for a late night snack or to satisfy your craving. Customer service is shoddy in the late night but they always seem to throw you a few extra cookies. The cookies can be hit or miss, sometimes they’re crunchy and sometimes they’re gooey depending on how long they’ve been under the heat lamp. Additionally, the prices are good.

Love the cookies, service was terrible. Girl dropped the tray and spilled cookies on the floor. Paid for a brownie and she never gave it to me.

Dont order delivery from this store if you want to receive your order the same week that you ordered it! This location screwed up a surprise birthday order for a friend of mine not once, but TWICE. When she finally received the order over a week late, she was insulted over the phone by an employee who claimed she lied about not receiving a phone call for when her order had arrived. If I could give this review negative stars I would... do not order from this location.

If I could give 0 starts I would. When you call the number, it goes through to a customer service line that you wait forever for. I waited well over 12 minutes to speak to a person. I called three times in one night because they messed up an online order that was supposed to be delivered to a friend for their b-day. I placed the order well in advance (2 days to be exact) and I called them when I found out from my friend that they hadnt arrived. The rep told me that they would be on their way and make it before 7... 7:10 rolls around and they still havent been delivered and I get an email there was an issue with delivery and to call the number. I called the number and was made to wait listening to the same awful music I heard the first time for about as long as the first call. The rep was really nice and heard me out and told me shed keep an eye on it. I never got any updates about whether or not they made it. I later asked my friend if she got them and she did.. FINALLY but before I texted her I contacted them again to check in and they never picked up. I was tired of waiting after 7 minutes and gave up. Dont bother ordering from them directly. Go in person or order through another site like grubhub or doordash, you might have better luck.

The unpredictable delivery time has really affected my compassion towards to this specific branch. I ordered at 10:19 pm, have called customer service at least 4 times and I have yet to receive my cookies. It has almost been three hours since I placed the order. Although the first time, the did deliver quickly but this time it has taken at least 3 hours. For any college students wanting Insomniac Cookies, be aware that your order may take a long time. I so want to give a good review but it’s impossible to when I have been waiting for three hours. I enjoy the cookies but the delivery service can vastly improve.

Do not expect to have your delivery on time even when ordered in advance. I ordered at 4:00 pm for an 8:00 pm delivery and had to call at 9:00 pm when it still had not been delivered. Thankfully they were able to get a driver out since the recipient had to leave his house by 9:30. Its disappointing to know that the cookies may have never gotten to the destination without the call. Also, there was no apology or reason why they were late in the first place.

Lazy, rude, high, unwelcoming employees that have nothing in stock and burnt the cookies I ordered online. Gave me the wrong number for customer service. You cant expect anything more from an open late night shop on campus I guess.

Ordered online at 2:46, scheduled delivery time of 7:00... Arrived at 10:22. In store the service is amazing and the cookies are the best in town. Just dont order delivery if you want it before you graduate.

I almost never write reviews, but the delivery time and lack of communication with the delay was ridiculous. I have ordered from Insomnia Cookies in 2 other cities with absolutely no problem and a reasonable delivery time (30-45 minutes). They serve quality cookies but this service took more than 90 minutes from the time the cookies were ordered to the time they arrived. I even had to call customer service, as Baking was the status for an hour. I definitely do not recommend delivery, and I would suggest they include an estimated delivery time. This way, if people know that theyll have to wait 2 hours to receive their order, they can choose whether or not theyd like to proceed.

This place is empty. No tables to sit at and not much in the way of decor. Its clearly meant to be a delivery place. Still, we bought a custom cookie ice cream sandwich (snicker doodles with apple pie ice cream), brownies Ala mode, and red velvet ice cream in a bowl and took them to a bench outside. The cookies were soft and chewy - very good. The ice cream was spot on, and the brownies tasty. Chocolate ice cream on a chocolate brownie thrilled me somewhat less, as the rich chocolate flavor of the brownie made the ice cream taste fake. But pretty good. Wed definitely call here for delivery again. Its just not the sit-down ice cream place we were looking for.

My order (of a measly two ice cream sandwiches) is THREE hours late. Absolutely pathetic — never ordering from here again.You are better off getting lava cakes from Dominoes fyi! They actually come at a reasonable time and aren’t 17 f-ing dollars.

TCAT is more reliable than Insomnia Cookies. I ordered six cookies and it took two hours to be delivered even after I called after the first hour and then put a note in to express deliver. The cookies came hard and not at all warm🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️

I have eaten here many times and I even worked here at one point. The cookies are delicious. I dont think I ever had a bad cookie unless somebody burnt some, which we would just snack on them in the back. Delivery times very quick in the summer time. No Cornell students around to steal your precious cookies! Im talking like less and than 15 minutes from when you ordered it. Unfortunately winter isnt the same. Ice, steep streets, its snowing, 14 degrees outside, one lane bridges crossing 100 ft gorges of death. They say Ithaca is gorges ;) All jokes aside, I cannot stress how terrifying the drive from the store to your house is. Its like a suicide mission no joke. If you know the area well, you might be familiar with East Seneca Street. I slid down the entire top half of the street untilStewart Avenue kinda acted as a staircase landing and I just stopped. Stuff like that happens every night, so when it takes like 35-45 minutes for them to get you your order please dont be upset with them. There are two reasons Im giving this review four stars. Firstly, sometimes the Shift Leader is completely incompetent or just not even there. This cause orders not to be made, people to be waiting, the phone starts ringing nonstop from management, or the people behind the cameras, and the delivery driver cant do anything but watch, or call the shift leader if he has their number. The delivery driver can get fired for touching the register. They can get in trouble for more. The only duties a delivery driver has here is to deliver cookies and fold boxes. Its stupid, I know. But they will be in trouble if they do anything else. You will be constantly monitored by the people behind the cameras if you choose to work here, or even spend your money here in-store if Im being completely honest. Also you cant wear your jacket inside if you work here lol. This leads me to my second reason why Im giving four stars. THIS COMPANY IS SICK. Go look at the price of one cookie and the price of a quart of cream on the website. That cookie has a production cost of less than 8 cents. The ice cream is Perrys Ice Cream and its honestly pretty good. They rotate the flavors regularly which is dope. Something new to try often. But it is ungodly expensive. Also the delivery drivers do not get the delivery charge that you have to pay for.They only receive the tip that you left them. I estimate less than 50% percent of orders dont even come with tips. Im not sure why people dont tip insomnia drivers. The company doesnt even pay us back for mileage on our car. They claim to give out a $200 sign-on bonus but that hasnt happened yet. All in all, the cookies are pretty good, and they get delivered pretty quickly. 8/10 times youll have a pleasant experience Id say.

Insomnia makes amazing cookies. Theyre so rich and soft and gooey! They deliver to downtown unreasonably fast, we dont deserve this. The only thing they could improve on a bit is their prices.

I placed an order for my college kid a few days early for 7 PM delivery. On a whim, I checked the order status at 5 PM that night — the ordered had been cancelled! No reason. No notice. Customer service said the order was cancelled at the store because they don’t deliver after 6 PM! What?! It’s INSOMNIA cookies! They’re supposed to deliver until 3 am! They reinstated the order and said it would be delivered before 6 pm. Fine. I called my son, told him to expect the order and stay close to the dorm. This turned into a colossal time suck for him because the stupid cookies didn’t come until almost 7:30. Why ask for a specific delivery time if you’re not going to adhere to it? Why cancel an order and not shoot out a text or email explanation? This is a really lousy way to run a business.

I like a gooey soft warm cookie as much as the next guy. But thats completely different than a raw cookie.No way you could ever pick it up. Total mush. I could have ate it with a spoon. Should have been cooked 5 more mins.

Came in for a few cookies 01/05/2020 around 230pm ... waited about 10 minutes and no one came out to take our order. No one answered to our “hellos” or the automated chimes on the door. Employee(s) “smoking” out back in the side alley...didn’t acknowledge our “hellos” as we left and walked down the sidewalk. I guess cookies weren’t in the cards today. Probably should lock your front doors during long absences.

Good cookies... when they come...I had placed an order for a promotional valentines day cookie to arrive valentines evening, the time my SO got home. Was hoping to surprise her. Over 2 hours later she was asleep and it never came, not even a call or a notification, I had to call the companys customer service line and get a refund. If youd like to get your order delivered in a timely fashion (or at all), try to go when they dont have a high volume of orders.There are obviously some logistics problems behind the scenes.

Came to the store at 9 pm. Only staff member I saw working walked by me multiple times without acknowledging me and was wearing his face mask below his upper lip. After 5 minutes of not being served I left.

Last night I went out with my mom. The workers were so high they couldn’t even help us. Guy with longer dirty blond hair. He was working with a older guy. They didn’t even notice us walk in when they saw us walk in. He could barely talk.

Great selection of cookies. Nothing like a great ooey-gooey warm cookie after a long hard day of studying. The deluxe cookies are totally worth the cost.

The Ithaca store delivery is subpar to say the least. Placed an order, had to wait up to 2 hours only to have to call back to inquire what happened with my order. Was told the driver called ( which that did not happen} and had to wait another 40 minuets. Also the person who took my order failed to specify the correct location of the building in addition to the fact that one has to call basically an 800 number to place a cookie order? What? Not certain as to why customers cannot call their local store.... customers are placed on hold WAY TOO LONG just to order and/or even ask where the order is much less ask a quick question.....however, you can order a major chain pizza from your local store but you can’t order a dozen cookies without it taking 20 minuets? VERY DISAPPOINTING!!
