Wow,the food here was pretty good. I got the eggs over easy with corn beef hash and it was cooked perfect just how I wanted it. Minus one star for the rust on the silverware.

The decor of Lincoln Street Diner is authentic American style diner, simple and adorable. The staff used standing character cardboards to keep customers in social distance which was creative and interesting.The options on their menu are not super various but enough for a decent brunch & breakfast. We had Western Omelet, French toast and unlimited coffee with reasonable price and great portion.The food is overall delicious, especially the omelette. We love the omelette, which was well-cooked and kept the texture moist. The French Toast was simply tasty but kind of dry.

Great little diner! Very friendly service, small menu, but everything was delicious and made to order. Masks on every breathing soul and strict social distancing was enforced which was very much appreciated by someone like myself (immune compromised). Overall, my family and I were very pleased, but we forgot to ask for utensils (we were a to go order), but we made do. Will be back again!

LSD is the best. Hands down one of the very best things about Ithaca.Everything is made to order right there on the grill- it gives you a full belly and warm feeling when you walk away.

The best place for breakfast in Ithaca New York Period! The owner is a great guy who knows to make you feel special, he truly listens too you, and makes you feel like you are part of the family even though its your first time there. Definitely not welcoming to non-white customers! (What I had heard proved to be true)Despite having several available tables and no other people waiting, they did not let us seat at the tables. Never going back! We had to pay for our coffees and leave.

There was no need for a menu, when it was suggested I get the Ziffy Omelette. When asked if I wanted gravy on it too? (Is there any answer other than yes for anything with gravy?). The Ziffy had fried potatoes, onions, peppers, ham and cheese inside of it. Fantastic- a new go-to when Im in Ithaca again. 👋

Ordered 2 pies from Chris and Amy for thanksgiving. The pies were amazing and my family loved them. They were pure and simply homemade.My coworkers and I visit the Lincoln St Diner 3-4 mornings a week. Chris and Amy do a great job making everyone feel at home everyday.

Been coming here every week for over a year. Ziffy with cajun gravy on Saturdays is the BEST! Chris, the owner? A king and an icon. The staff are all super nice and funny, serving up delicious food and old-school, small local diner vibes. Best diner in town, hands down!

Great good, not too expensive. Interior is pretty barebones, with cardboard cutouts separating seats at the counter. Customer base is old as hell.

A diner with attitude, Star Wars, and sarcasm. Great food. Tiny location. I had eggs, bagel, and cream cheese. Grandson had a breakfast sandwich. He inhaled it. Good coffee. Their sarcasm will be apparent if you try to negotiate the menu. I love eating here.

After reading a couple reviews about this place being quick and having good food I was hungry and ready to try it. I walked in, sat at the counter, the cook took my order and I had my 2 eggs over easy, hash browns, toast, sausage & blueberry pancake within minutes. Blueberry pancake tasted awesome! Everything was great. Definitely recommend!

This is exactly what I want from a local diner. Great food and for once good coffee. All the local men hanging out and talking with banter back and forth from the cook/owner and long time patrons. Everybody knows everyones name and the service is met with a kind smile. You have to grab breakfast here if youre in town.

Great food, and very nice service! The corned beef and hash was my favorite item. It was extremely busy that day, but the staff kept their cool and were able to see us as quickly as possible.

The best thing about Lincoln Diner is Chris, Jack of all, owner who greats all regulars by name and favorite coffee mug is delivered to table prior to order taken. Chris makes everyone feel welcome. Breakfast is always delicious. Chris knows how to poach eggs in cast iron griddle pan while taking orders and delivering orders to table. The poach is always just right, even soft poach, with lightly buttered rye toast. I highly recommend this diner for good food, a charming host and great atmosphere.

I love this place, simple, matter of fact, perfectly prepared breakfast. They served lunch also. The service was particularly wonderful. One, seemingly superhuman waitress, served the whole restaurant, and did the work of a whole team. We had our breakfasts much better and faster than if we had, had a myriad of servants. The seating was a little cramped because it was filled to capacity yet nevertheless gave a intimated cozy vibe. I highly recommend whats some referred to as LSD (Lincoln Street Diner that is)

Its a solid breakfast, and thats high praise in my opinion. They have short hours, and theyre usually packed if you dont get in early. And they only take cash. So with those minor inconveniences aside, its the best diner in town. Its diner food, but thats what you expect when you go there; but its the absolute best of that expectation. Get in line, wait for it, and youll love it.

The best! If you like diners you really have to try this place. Excellent and authentic. Locally owned with great staff, prices, and food. The only possible negative I could think of is that it is a small place in terms of square footage, but to me that is also a plus.Some diners have gone upscale, and others seem to be using ridiculous portion sizes to make up for lack of food quality. Thee best breakfast in town hands down. I challenge you to find a cook in town who can make eggs this perfect. I mean picture perfect eggs. And fantastic price too, if youre down for diner food. This is the only place to go!

This is a hole in the wall diner. Hours are limited, but it is probably the best diner in town. Everything I have had here has been outstanding. No complaints, friendly and fast service. Coffee and home fries are included with every meal.

We enjoyed out breakfast here. We sat at the counter so my wife, a foodie, could just watch the action. We enjoyed how our chef (wish I caught his name) interacted with the kitchen, us, and other guests. Its a good, no-nonsense diner atmosphere. Unfortunately it didnt seem like others in the restaurant were quite as busy as our chef, so our coffee cups were dry a couple times.

While in the Ithaca area doing some camping, my wife and I stopped in to the Lincoln Diner due to the great reviews. This diner is small but cute, but the food and service is great. Very recommended.

One of the most entertaining dining experiences of my life. Our waitress was sassy, sarcastic, and absolutely hilarious. A wonderful departure from the norm these days. Great food, great atmosphere, and I highly, highly recommend getting there if you can.

Granted on a normal day I would not have looked at this place twice, it was your typical hole in the wall diner.... I was surprised, the breakfast was great, everyone was pleased with their meal not just me. Coffee was great and my cup was never empty! Very reasonable prices a very friendly place I enjoyed it very much! We were headed to the zoo in Syracuse! Fun day! Thanks!

It closes before 2 every day, and isnt open on Sundays...The food is tasty, reasonably priced, and made with love. The daily specials and soups are always delicious, and its breakfast all day on Saturdays!
