Affordable bulk herbs and spices; a wide selection of teas, tinctures, salves, shrubs, and more; knowledgeable and kind staff; a beautiful little store in general (large windows, floor-to-ceiling displays, glass jars and bottles that remind one of an old fashioned apothecary). Its a must-see if youre in Ithaca and want to explore herbalism a bit. The staff is wonderful at answering questions about specific herbs and products. They also offer classes for those who have particular interests. Ive never been to one, but I absolutely intend to. It also smells lovely inside, which is a bonus!

Will not shop here, I cannot support a business that excludes one race or sexual preference because it doesnt fit their agenda. If youre not including everyone then that is intolerant.

This place has a good assortment of obscure roots and herbs, but falls short on traditional herbs and spices. By all means, go if you are looking to make a nice tea, but avoid it if you want to get culinary ingredients.

I love this place. They havs an awesome stock selection, community herbalism classes, and even a Little Potion Makers class for the kids. They are informative and will help you find a cure for what ails you, and are totally into sustainability. They grow a lot of thsir own herbs, and will accommodate their customers needs ti the absilute bestvif theor ability. Great place.
