Solid record store with a large selection of rock, jazz, and many other genres! The new arrivals bin was packed with killer records and the prices were great! Friendly staff and a great atmosphere!

Angry Mom has a really solid selection of great albums new and old. Its pretty impressive how many genres and artists youre able to look through down there.

Came in looking for some records I would consider pretty standard - Miles Davis Kind of Blue and Jefferson Airplane Surrealistic pillow that they did not have despite having a large classic rock / folk and jazz section. Could improve upon their indie/alt/metal/avant garde section.

I love this records store. They have a really great selection and wonderful prices. And the staff are vinyl junkieslike me.

Always such a treat to stop by. Anything and everything is there. Even the smallest sections are perfectly full of nonstop goodies. I never walk out of there without feeling like the luckiest shopper in the world. To the person who today recommended the Ellen Fullman record: this was my best purchase anywhere in a long while.

One of my favorite record stores of all time. Very fair prices, no “tourist prices” like some other record stores upstate (you know who you are...) Angry Mom also has top-notch quality control: I have bought about 100 records from Angry Mom, and the media quality on used records has always been very high—no significant scratches, no warps, nothing that effects quality or playback, just good clean vinyl!In response to Pamela’s 2-star review: high prices? I have not found this to be the case at all. If you look them up, 9 times out of 10, their prices seem to fall right around “the average,” but keep in mind Angry Mom vinyl is always CLEAN, whereas other sellers are charging the same price for vinyl that is sometimes lower media quality. Angry Mom’s prices are consistently very fair, and when you consider the quality factor, that makes them even better value. Regarding the rude person you encountered, well they weren’t an employee. In my experience, it is normal to run into a weirdo who lacks social skills at most record stores—welcome to vinyl collecting! For me, I just take such interactions as a sign that I am in a legit record store frequented by weird collectors.

Probably the best record shop in the finger lakes! they have a massive supply of vinyl CDs tapes and components. And the staff are all very knowledgeable about music and everything related!

Feels like a classic gem. In the basement of a unique book store. It was very cool. Lots of options with a focus on used and old records. The staff was very friendly and even gave personalized recommendations and prices were good.

Wow just wow just wow..... amazing store and some absolutely unreal finds. Pricing is so good too. I could literally lose myself for hours in here meandering around. Really well organised store, alphabetically and also genre too. The owner, with a beard (I think), is a great guy, really friendly and excellent on his discounts.

Lots of good stuff, somethings for everyone (if you dont find what youre looking for, kindly ask and they will order it for you!). Authentic people and service. They will answer any questions you have and will assist you any way they can. Nothing like sifting through and finding a few goodies you werent expecting and giving them a listen (used).If you love collecting records, if you love the sound of vinyl, or better yet a combination of the two... definitely check out Angry Mom. Hard to locate shop that is inside the book store, downstairs. Decent selection of new releases and some indie.

Selection was small and prices high. Staff ignored me and a patron even demanded I get out of their way while thumbing through the rock albums. On the upside, they have a giant poster upstairs advocating illegal immigration.

This is a wonderful record store with an authentic vibe. Service is friendly and merchandise is well displayed and organized. It is located downstairs in the Autumn leaves bookstore building, so you can browse books and visit the second floor Cafe which features original art. Well worth a visit. Quiet and awesome collection of records and CDs as well.

Fantastic selection of used and new records. Everything is well organized. The service is great and the atmophere is just awesome. New(/used) records come in each week, so you never know what you will find. Well worth the 1.5 hour drive for me to get there!

Such a cool place! LOADS of vinyl, with a small (but impressive) CD selection. Got a rare Elliott Smith album that I had been looking for, for only $3!

This is by far my favorite record shop in Ithaca. The tunes are always bumping and they have an amazing selection. Almost every time I go someone Im with buys and walks out with something they were looking for. Also, their stickers and shirts are really cool.

Good selection of used vinyl. 3/5 were mint. Good used CD selection as well. Very impressed with soul, jazz and R&B selections.

I havent been impressed because I expect a lot, but if I choose it well, I can get it. Its about 30% cheaper than New York City. It is a second-hand bookstore on the first floor, underground. Listening is possible.
