So this place is the donut king. If you go in ask for hot glazed donuts. I can legit stuff 6 in my face in under a minute. I have been to 100 Shipley donuts. This one is the one. Thank me later.

My experience was terrible! I will not ever go to this place! When they let customers talk about black people an still serve them.Service was terrible. Nobody spoke to me when I walked in after I said good morning!

This Shipley Donut Shop is tucked in an inconspicuous strip center on Market St. The maple glazed 🍩 s are my favorite. Small shop that provides friendly service.

Ive ordered hot chocolate from this location TWICE and BOTH times found maggots floating in it!The first time (Jan 2013) I actually drank it for a bit and was wondering what the texture was. Peeked inside and thought maybe there was coconut floating in it or marshmallow bits? Couldnt figure out why, didnt make sense because I didnt order anything like that. I drain it all to find a BUNCH of maggots in it!The second time (March 2013) I peeked in the cup before drinking and sure enough there were about 8-10 maggots and some other kinda bug in it!I brought it to their attention, but they seemed to be in DENIAL about it. Which is very problematic for me. Will not be going back.Edit: To Maria. I assure you they were maggots. I know what maggots look like. There was no dissolving these suckers into the mix because... they were maggots, not clumps of chocolate powder. Seriously? You really think someone wouldnt be able to tell the difference between the two? I used a strainer, had the water pouring down onto it and when it was all said and done, I even HELD the little suckers in my hand! I find it hard to believe that I am the ONLY person this has happened to? Im positive there are more out there. This wasnt clumps of cocoa needing to break down. Trust me.

Loved that they were open later than most shipleys. Food was fresh too.

First time out of town visitor & I must say even though it was late in the evening the donuts were very fresh & Id definitely visit again. Im an official Shipleys fan!

Those kolaches are like bratwurst buns with shriveled long sausage weenies(reminded me of a flavorles slim jim), great value cheese whiz, and a handful of jalapenos directly in the center if you get the one with japs. Ew

I always go love the donuts. Yet today 20mins before closing time they would not even let me in. That they were close. At least the girl that came to the door yelled at me. Okaaay!

The coffee was nice and hot the doughnuts were nice and warm no hassles paying out the seating area were clean to sit down and enjoy the coffee and doughnuts there!
