The tire sensor on our vehicle told us we had a problem. ( and the weekend of course) We pulled into Mavis and found a piece of metal that had slashed our tire and was still stuck in it. They couldn’t get us in for HOURS but JR came out and looked at it for us anyway. They didn’t have our tire but Jr told us where we could possibly get it replaced. He even put air in our fast deflating tire to get us where we needed to go! Great customer service even if they didn’t have our tire to replace it with. Thanks JR! ☺️

I’ve got to say this was the most pleasant experience I’ve had trying to get a tire. I had been in Jackson for a wedding. Had a flat on Saturday. I was two hours away from home. Riding around Jackson on a doughnut. Could not find anyone that had a tire on Saturday. Sunday morning I asked my son to google tire shops open on Sunday. Mavis tire popped up. Thank God. The two gentlemen at the counter could not have been more helpful. I would truly like to say thank you to them both. As I was sitting there I decided to watch my church service on Facebook. One of the gentlemen came and sit beside me and listened with me to the service. When he wasn’t busy. I wished I would have gotten his name. That blessed my soul. Thank you so much. It’s the little things that go a long way. I highly recommend Mavis tire.

I came in to get a tire repaired. Erin and John were so nice and detail oriented. The service was great and quick. Not to mention very reasonable. I will definitely be back for all my brakes/oil changes/ tires.

Mavis provided and installed a new set of tires on my SUV. They didnt even check the tire pressure before I left the shop. All tires had different pressure, varying between 34 and 42 psi.That should say it all, but it doesnt. They dont care about their customers time. I had an appointment. I called in advance to confirm. I was told to arrive two hours and a half earlier so the job could be done sooner. I got there when I was told (after one hour drive from where I live), and still had to wait 4hs to get the job done. By 7pm I watched how the crew stopped working on my car and started working on some other car that got into the shop. The manager had to step in and call them off, otherwise Id probably still be waiting for my car.They honored the price match, but only after trying to avoid it by all means. And in return, they charged for alignment before asking for permission. They were good at providing information, but the alignment was not well done. At that point I didnt want to argue anymore and left.I understand is hard to find workers these days, but I strongly suggest not to offer any services at all rather than offering the poor quality service they are doing. I should come back and claim for a proper alignment, but I wont. I just dont trust them. I wont come back and strongly suggest not doing business at this shop.

I made an appointment for brake pad replacement. I dropped the car off a couple of hours early for the appointment to insure they had plenty. Of time to complete the job. I did not hear from them all day so called one hour before closing time and was informed that someone was supposed to call me saying I needed additional work (no additional work was needed) and nothing was completed. They are either not qualified to do the work or dishonest. This was the was the second attempt for this service. The first attempt was not completed due to them not being able to fi d the correct tool. I would suggest that you consider using another. Company before wasting your time.

Everytime I get my tires I go to this one. The staff there is always helpful and very polite. If they find anything wrong with my vehicle they always take me into the shop, show me with great explanation of whats wrong. And they are truthful and trustworthy because I have the knowledge and ability to work on my vehicles and they never bs me.

I was displaced due to Hurricane Ida and needed tires badly. Stumbling into Mavis Tires and Breaks Jackson was the best decision I’ve made in a long time. The staff were so courteous and knowledgeable! They were able to get me back on the road, safely and even helped me to stay within my budget! Thanks Mr. JR and crew!!!

I do not recommend this location!!! I basically went up there and called for a week about getting my tire fixed for a slow leak!! Apparently management isn’t on the same accord!!! I was given different answers from 3 different people particularly Erin, J R and John! Please avoid this location!

Mivas Tires and brakes were amazing in the customer service that they provided. They told me my issues and even showed me my issues, and proceeded with completing the repairs needed. 4 Brake pads, 4 roters, 4 new tires, and an alignment all completed within 3/4 hours.
