Was surprised at how quick the service was for the first time EVER only to get home to a huge hair in my pickles. Actually ruined my appetite and couldn’t make myself eat the rest of the food I ordered because of this hair. Maybe the workers should wear hair nets.

Food was good, the service was bad. I felt like I was being rushed, the young lady didn’t smile. She put the food on the table and said nothing.

I got there right at opening while passing through on a road trip. If youve never had a warm bagel in the morning, you are missing out. Heres one combo I had: sourdough toasted with butter and drizzled with honey. 💯🥰

Giving 1 star because the food is mostly great except whenever they forget to put bacon or cream cheese. The customer service is not up to par. I witnessed an employee training another employee speaking in an extremely rude tone to her. Everytime I go the employees look disgruntled. They are very pushy and rushing and not a single employee had a smile on their face. I called to place an order 2 times and no one answered each time the phone rang and rang. The soda machine has been flat numerous times and they always seem to be fresh out of sweet tea. Be prepared to wait an extra 10-15 on a online order even if you arrive at the time the website tells you to. No masks, no hair nets, and sometimes no gloves. Next time I’ll save myself time and effort go to Primos and get better service, cleaner environment, and tastier desserts.

Beagle Bagel cafe can be a bit of a heavy hitter price wise. Their food and deserts are great though as well as their customer service. They also have custom coffee as well as breakfast lunch and dinner foods. Their selection is unbelievably varied and their ambiance is nice as well.

If I could put zero stars I would. I arrived at 7:47 pm to just get a few bagels and a container of chicken salad so that I could go home and make them on my own. Restaurant says that it closes at 8:00 pm. What I heard was a disgruntled sigh from a couple of the employees and what I saw was the rolling of eyes. All of the bagels were already put away and the register was being counted down. I asked if they were already closed and was told pretty much so. I guess closed at 8:00 means that they are walking out of the door at 8:00. I sure would hate for anyone to have to stay a minute past closing time.

I grew up in New York, and at the risk of sounding pretentious, its my opinion that the bagels are better there. But this incredible cafe makes me feel like Im back in my favorite NY deli (with the addition of the Southern accent, pimento cheese, and king cakes)! Stopped in to try a breakfast sandwich and left with a half dozen bagels and a tub of cream cheese. Dont miss out on this place!

Two stars for the best chicken salad in the world, and the most two-faced customer service. Ive been here probably a hundred times over the past five years and Ive noticed that if you go in dressed like one of their typical customers (as I often do) then youll be treated at least decently (if not politely). But if you have been working in your yard and look like a working man (as I did today), they rush you out of the store and make you feel very unwelcome. Ive seen them do it to others as well who were ahead or behind me in line, so I know its not just me. Dont go to this place dressed in anything less than business casual. So much for southern hospitality.

This is the best place to eat. Hands down my favorite! We have been customers since day one many years ago. Its always so clean and the food is fresh. We drive far to eat there all the time! I can not say enough great things about BB in Highland Village. Hands down best bagels and best chicken salad in the world! Love the people that work here too. Highly highly recommend!

Waited on order for 30 mins . Young lady finally asks me “ What order are you waiting on?” I tell her the name she replies “It’s sitting right there!” Another young lady attempts to whisper but loudly says “Can’t read?” It was not my order . Ignorant service . Had to wait even longer for my mobile order .

Service was good not too much of a wait, got order right and got out quickly.

I am biased yall. This is my favorite place for breakfast in town because of (and in this order) The staff, The coffee, The bagels. We hadnt been there since COVID-19 restrictions last year and was very happy to see everyone. The place is my kinda place.

Id heard great things about this place. They have a variety of items, which is great. They could do a little better on toasting the bagles. But then again thats easily fixed by asking them to toast it more.

Beagle Bagel offers more than just bagels. Dont get me wrong they have excellent bagels (and perfect coffee!), but they also have cinnamon rolls as big as a plate, cookies, cupcakes, and other delightful treats. The front counter staff are appropriately polite and pleasant but my deepest respect and admiration is for their highly skilled & incredibly gifted bakers! Working behind the scenes these are the true masters of their craft. Every single aspect of our baked goods were perfect! A big thank you for all you do goes out to these baking physicists! In addition to baked items they have an amazing quiche and perfect tuna salad for lunch.

Absolutely love Beagle Bagel. The staff are always very helpful and welcoming! The prices are hard to beat, too! The only thing that would make this place better would be the addition of house made hummus. I have many vegan friends that I would love to take here, but without cream cheese there are no vegan schmear options!

The details:My family and I went in for a late breakfast while traveling to see family. It was our first visit to Beagle Bagel.The short:The atmosphere is great, the service is awesome, but I wouldnt go back unless I had a group of friends who voted against me.The Long:The atmosphere is pretty chill and the design of the place is really nice. We walked in and it took us about 5 minutes to decide what we wanted. The staff was really patient and offered to answer any questions we had.I got a cinnamon raisin bagel with the honey walnut cream cheese and a slice of bacon quiche; coffee to drink. The bagel was really dense (I know theyre supposed to be, but these seemed like they were under proofed or over boiled) it was also kinda small but priced well for its size, $1.25. adding cream cheese added $2. The quiche was awesome! If this was a quiche shop it would get 4 stars. The coffee (house brew/I drink it black no sugar) tasted like something I would get at a Pilot or other nice truck stop. It wasnt bad, but not anything steller.My wife got a cranberry nut bagel with regular cream cheese. Again, the bagel was too dense, and although I could see the cranberries, the bagel really just tasted like a whole grain bagel.Like I said in the short, we probably want be returning to Beagle Bagel, but on the off chance that we do, Ill probably just order two slices of quiche.

Went to Beagle Bagel for the first time today to give it a try since I have many co-workers/friends state they love the bagels here. Lets just say I wont be coming back to this location. Will probably try the madison one instead. The staff were very rude and pushy when taking my order. I had to explain my order multiple times with more than one staff member talking over each other. Fair enough if the place was busy, but there was only one person behind me waiting in line. I felt very under appreciated as a customer and frankly felt that they just wanted to get me out of the door. Will sadly not be returning to this location. The food was fine, but let down by the poor service. .

They are rude honestly I just wanted a bagel that’s all I didn’t know getting talked about came with my meal.

They have a very friendly, helpful and quick staff ready to wait on you the second you walk through the door. The seating inside may seem tight when they are busy but their outside seating in the atrium sprawls across multiple levels. Its a great place to spend an afternoon catching up with a friend.I highly recommend this home grown fave.

We stopped on our way north from the Coast. We enjoyed our bagels. I had the lox and cream cheese. It was a little salty but still very enjoyable. Great selection of menu items with good coffee. Very friendly, prompt service. It is right off the 55 so super easy and convenient. For those who dislike fast food and chains, this was perfect.

I eat here like once a week. I always get good service and fast service. Unique food that is very satisfying and comforting. Their desserts are to die for and remind me of things grandma or mama would make. They are a bit pricey but totally worth it. They use real ingredients and everything there tastes homemade. I recommend them to all visiting guests. Best part is they are open super early in the morning before most other places.

Great bagels, they also offer lox (which is rare here...then again so are bagels). Service is extremely friendly and the bagels are actually quite good. Considering that bagel places arent exactly on every corner in Mississippi, the fact that their bagels are as good as they are made this a really nice find. Is it New York? No. Is it damn close? Yes.

I have been to Beagle Bagel in many occasions, and it never seems too busy. Their is a comforting array of bread, meat, and cheese options. You have the option of sitting outside by he fountain, or inside with the comforts of TV. It also happens to be very safe with the security guards. Best of all, the staff are very friendly.

I use to come to this restaurant 3-4 times per week and loved it. The food is still amazing. I haven’t been by in a month or two and I just got home with my food. When I went in there was an entire new staff of workers and they were not very good at all. The previous staff was amazing and kind from day 1. The new staff made it obvious that they did not want to be there, I ordered my usual meal (minus my usual bagel because they were out which I completely understand). Whatever employee that I dealt with eventually got my order right after having to correct it multiple times. Chicken salad with bagel chips and an extra pickle with a Diet Coke. She hand picked through the pickles to get the 2 smallest pickles (2.5in or so long each) and tried to give me the wrong chips 3 times. When she finally gave me my bagel chips I just got home and realized that she literally put 4 chips in the bag. I’m not sure if that is company policy now or if she was doing it on purpose since (like I said she looked through the pickles to hand pick the 2 smallest in the entire container). Needless to say a customer that use to come 3-4 times per week and couldn’t be here for a couple of months but I’m finally able to start coming and bringing y’all business again but I will not be returning for quite a while if ever. I’m not sure why she would have singled me out to give me the worst of the worst but she did. I love beagle bagel but that was by far the worst experience that I’ve ever had there and I feel extremely unappreciated as a customer. I’m sorry for the bad review but it was extremely bad service this time around. I’m now about to leave my house to go to Wendy’s because I’m not full from obviously being purposefully given a very skimp meal. I paid for a meal, not a sandwich. Oh and the man behind me had to ask her to give me my cup for my drink.

Free refills on coffee, soft drinks and tea; love it! I had the everything bagel and spinach cream cheese. It’s in a outdoor shopping mall; perfect! They also had a few gnats that wanted my bagel just as much as I did. So I fought them during my stay; otherwise it was a good visit.

Lived in Jackson for one summer and went to the place at least twice a month. Real food. Friendly staff. Amazing desserts. Be prepared to spend a little extra but its 100% worth it. The pancakes are to die for. My dude loves the grilled breakfast panini. Just everything is magical.

We go just for the chicken salad, however, the employees at this location are *extremely* pushy about getting the freshly packaged chicken salad in the refrigerated section when you walk in. We go in & say We want 2 small or 2 medium chicken salads. They reply, Oh, you can get it already made over there; we just put it out. They clearly get very annoyed when you stay persistent about wanting it scooped into a container in front of you. Normally I would be fine with getting the pre-packaged “freshly made” chicken salad, but we said never again after we spent the money and it was dry towards the middle-bottom. Definitely NOT fresh and just packaged as they told me. Most times we just skip going because we dont feel like almost getting into an argument with pushy employees!!! Give the customer what they want! I’m tired of dealing with them.

I went here for breakfast this morning. The cinnamon bagel was very good, especially with the cinnamon cream cheese! The breakfast overall was ok. Eggs were plain and the grits didn’t not have much flavor. My wife who had been before said they should have put cheese and butter on them. The lady was doing a lot of the work herself up front and seemed to be struggling, so I didn’t bother because I had to already go back and the bacon she forgot to add. Would recommend they have more people come up to help and take some pressure to off this poor lady. Otherwise it was a nice place and I really enjoyed sitting outside in the shopping area which had a very pleasant waterfall. Would recommend the bagels and cream cheese for the breakfast and not the whole plate, even though the pricing was excellent.

Love the Jackson location, Madison is a bit slow and doesnt honor the special of one of a kind chicken salad, side and drink for apptox $7 without paying fpr tapenade and indoor outdoor seating with respect for diversity. Their promotion pf second chances for some of their staff, brings us the most progressive restaurant in town.

For a bagel shop, the texture of the bagels is not good. Flavors are decent, but bagels were super close-textured and seemed to have been boiled for too long. Disappointing, for sure.The atmosphere was good, friendly staff, and we enjoyed the quiche, but it isnt a quiche shop.

If you dont show up during a rush, you can get served quickly.

Bagels and spreads are ALWAYS great here and I just called to order some of the potato salad for a party we are having and although they didnt have enough at this location, they offered to get the rest at the Ridgeland location and have it waiting for us there when we needed it. Great job at going above and beyond!! Thats what keeps us continually coming back (well...that and the great bagels :) )

If this bagel place was in New York I would give it one star. Compared to any other bagel you can get in Jackson, MS I would give it 5 stars. I would compromise and give a rating of 3 stars but this place is also way overpriced for simple bagels. Only recommend if you are stuck in Jackson and have an intense bagel craving that wont be satisfied any other way.

Went to this location on a Sunday morning. While not knowing exactly what to expect - it had been a long time since eating at a Beagle Bagel Cafe - I was very (pleasantly) surprised. The breakfast panini was VERY good, and the entire staff was very courteous/friendly.
