I had a long discussion with a sales associate about a tankless heater. He assured me they had them in stock. We discussed flow rates and he assured me that the unit would easily provide water for a couple of showers and a faucet or washing machine and shower. Their website stated it provides 6.6 gpm of hot water. I Drove 40 minutes and they didnt have one. I had to drive another 40 minute round trip to get it at another location. He did give me a $35 discount for my trouble.After installing the unit, I read the information on the instructions and it says you will only get that flow rate if your water is 70 degrees and you only heat it to 100 degrees. 100 degrees is Luke warm. The associate told me that 100 degrees was hot water and I was not being reasonable with my expectations. He referred me to the 1-800 number for the company for further trouble. I bought the GT-140. Buyer beware, you will only get 3.0 gpm at 120 degrees at the most from this unit and thats if you upgrade your gas line to a minimum of 3/4. This unit is only good for a couple of faucets or a shower and a faucet.
