Had the best skin care experience at Sephora here I believe the associate was named Sinny. She was extremely helpful to me finding what would work for my skin. I love all the products we picked and she really brightened my day just being so kind.

I have a chronic health issues and dont go out much. I went to JCP shopping and they have great pandemic standards and I felt very safe shopping. The items I needed were instock and great prices. Natalie waited on me & she gave me Excellent service!! Very personable and professional!!

I can always find what Im looking for at the JCPenney in Jackson. The checkout is always very friendly, fast and efficient.

I would like to express my thanks to JCPenney in Jackson, MI. I called on Friday morning, April 23, 2021, to ask for an appointment for a cut and highlight. I was told by the manager, Kristin, that there werent any openings for Friday or Saturday but she could add me to a cancelation list. I didnt expect a call back but by the end of the day on Friday, Kristin called and said I could come in on Saturday. I was thrilled.On Saturday morning, I was met by a cheerful and bubbly associate, Korina. I was the first customer of the day. I was treated so well for my entire visit. She colored my hair like she had been doing hair for a long time. She was on her own and never once complained as she bopped around the shop taking care of me, the phone, and customers that stopped in. Not many young ladies like her in her age group seem to work as hard as she did.I believe both Kristin and Korina both need recognized and I give JCPenney Salon the highest rating. Thank you. Impressive all the way around.

Sales associate unable to help me and offered to get a manager because theyd be able to do more. Manager went out of her way to keep me happy. Good products, good prices, great customer service.

Went 12/5/20 to buy a ring for my wife and try to do business locally..went to the jewelry department, and there was a couple workers behind the cases looking at me like deere in headlights..I said can someone help me, and she replied after were done here. I guess that meant when they were done chit chatting with each other, and then one lady finally comes over with no hi or anything and looks at me like what do you want.i point to the ring I want to look at, and first thing out of here mouth was. You know you have to use a Pennys card to get the discount. Needless to say I stopped there and went to another store in the same mall, and was treated with great customer service, and a great deal on a ring. This is why Amazon is going to take over the retail market. Customer service is no longer in existence..hopefully management talks to this department about customer service..

Went there today to buy a dishwasher and a refrigerator. The sign on the door said Take an additional 50% off ticketed clearance price. Did not have any stipulations. Found a refrigerator that was on clearance that we wanted and inquired to purchase it. Was told, sorry, that doesnt apply to appliances. I asked to speak to a manager who came and told me the same thing, it does not apply to appliances. Only for clothing. I showed her the picture of the sign on the door that I had and it didnt show any stipulations that it was only for clothing and that I wanted the clearance refrigerator with the 50% discount as advertised on their sign on the door. She refused and said Im sorry, I cant honor that since it is only for clothing. I turned around and walked out and said you missed out on a sale. Went to Sears and bought a new dishwasher and refrigerator. On a side note, their salesperson was not even able to answer our questions about the dishwasher as far as how to adjust the adjustable rack. This is the last time I will ever go to JC Penny.

Good and could be improved. The good - Im a tall fat man so I need clothes that fit accordingly as well as look nice. Without, Penneys delivered again. Two tall ties, a new belt and total saving of $56!! Could be improved- the big and tall area, specifically the ties, looked like they were randomly placed just to get them on the floor. In addition, the big and tall section was cluttered. Ill give them a benefit here as well and assume they were in the process of rearranging the department. More of the could be improved - many retail operations have a separate area returns. All three customers in front of me were doing returns and two were very involved. Thats why the three stars.

My stylist Aubrey is amazing. She understands what Im looking for as Ive changed my hair style numerous times and it always looks great. Ive had long hair, really short hair and now a take on a bob, Aubrey rocks it every time. Wouldnt go anywhere else.

Clean store, even the clearance racks were organized. Customer service was quick and the cashier helped us find a coupon to save money. Will definitely be returning for the Big and Tall section.

The prices are decent but the store is very poorly laid out. You will search Forever looking for the things you want. Sales reps are hard to find to get assistance. So if you have time to browse this is a good place to shop.

They have great sales and the staff are always friendly, even when its hectic. The sephora inside is very nice too- the staff arent make up snobs and are very knowledgeable about what theyre selling to you. The salon in the back is great as well (even though its a bit pricey)! I definitely recommend going to Lindsay if you want something fun and punk!

Funny how they raise prices of everything and then say its 60% off. When all boils down to thats what your paying what youre supposed to pay not anymore. Colognes way too expensive their clothes are decently made but somewhat pricey would return again in the near future 4 clothes

Fellas do not.. I repeat do not get your haircut here. I just got the absolute worst haircut I have ever gotten in my life. I asked for a simple fade, i ended up with a bowl cut. Very disappointing that now after spending $21 I get to go home to buzz my head. Thank you for the service appreciate it.

Need more sales staff not just at the cash register. I realize it is a way to compete with computer sales. If you could actually be waited on, I personally, would shop in the store instead of online.

Placed a pickup order on-line. When I got the email the order was ready I went into the store.The former catalog order desk was closed and could not find any employees to locate pick up point. I finally asked at one of the two register stations in the store. The young man first tried to get me to take someone elses order. They finally located part of my order; one clerk said the rest was being shipped, another clerk looked at the order and stated the remaining portion was out of stock. They called someone on the phone and were told it was being shipped. I got home and found an email stating the second half was out of stock. The next day got an email stating the order was in. Called the story to get someone to physically locate the package to make sure it is in placed on hold till phone went to ringing again. This happened three times. Guess I will have to go in and wait 15 minutes to be told the package is not there.

They hire young cashiers that make the customers wait because they would rather talk amongst themselves...need better customer service

The store is not quite as clean as it use to be. The quality of the clothing is not as good either. I find very little here that is good quality other then work out cloths and Worthington Brand stuff.

The sales they are having right now are amazing. I just bought my dress for a Christmas party. The dress was originally $139.00. I paid $29.00.

Lack of help in all departments I was looking. No one to assist with finding things youre looking for. Checkout people fine. Products fine when finally finding them after wasting time looking. Savings good. This department store used to have people to help you find things. Checkout people knew little when asked.

Went to Sephora with S.O. what an amazing experience. Chris was amazing, energetic, helpful, and gave superb advice. Left there more bubbly and happier.

Had pictures taken (as in past years) photographer left us standing there after someone coming into pick up pictures. Was not very sensible when setting up props for our middle school child, nor open to suggestions. Another photo pick up came in while placing order & left again.

The staff are very pleasant. Love the sales!

We went there to buy dress clothes for 4 kids an 2 adults some of the staff were very rude at check out some of the clothes did not have a tag on them an the lady insisted that one of our kids ripped them off (witch did not happen) then on top of that refused to call to get the price instead said we had to go back to where we got them an get new clothes with tags on them before she would help us mind you we were shopping with 4 kids who were ready to go home an play not go thru the whole store for a second time honestly probably wont ever go back to that place again sad to because the have mostly good prices..

Love this store. They always hire nice staff that are helpful and willing to go above and beyond to help you. I really wish they expand their plus size section and offer more sizes. They have the expanded size options online but it would be nice if they had it in store. It is really slim pickings if you are over a size 14. Other than that they have nice deals. I love the addition of the Sephora in the store because it really is becoming a more frequented place for me. They honor the return policy as well.

I shop here a lot but hate their online coupons are better than in store. Id really like to support my local store, but feel forced to shop the better deal. Not fair to brick and mortar stores

Beware shoppers**** read the discount/sales signs carefully its 40%off only after you spend 40.00 and it doesnt include clearance items😤😢 kind of misleading, puts people in a bind once they get to cash register.
