I recently went to Stio to ask if I could do an exchange that my Mother had purchased and the details were a bit complicated. The staff, Marlow and Lindsey were very helpful and made the process easy. Their customer service was outstanding and were very pleasant to speak with. My experience at the main store in Downtown Jackson was beyond excellent. Thank you Marlow and Lindsey!

*Review updated because they did contact me and issue my refund. They also offered me a code for a discount on my next order. While it was frustrating I appreciate them working to make it right. I gave them another try and placed another order, the items arrived on time and are good quality. I am happy with my new purchase.Buyer beware of purchasing anything online from this store. I ordered 2 jackets for approximately $300. They were not the quality I would expect for the price and they didnt fit right. I returned them 3 weeks ago and have a tracking receipt they received it over 2 weeks ago. No refund yet, or even an email that they received it. I have also left 3 messages at the customer service line, which nobody ever answers, and sent an email with no reply. This is my last effort to get their attention. I am not alone as there are a ton of reviews on Yelp with the same experience. And they cant blame COVID, a lot of those are from over a year ago. Im sure the store is fine but do not order online!

Stio (online) has the worst customer service Ive ever encountered. Ordered a jacket, they say it has shipped when it hasnt, now they are totally unresponsive. Buyer beware!

After my online order delivery was stolen in my apartment building, he quickly helped me to navigate the situation and provided a replacement. I purchased several items for me and my daughter before the Black Friday sales. I saw that the items dropped in price and I reached out to see if they would honor the sale price. It took three phone calls, three emails and a tweet to get a response. Eventually, I did receive the discounted price but I had to engage several times with a customer service rep to get the reduced price. After another week, I received a fairly rude email stating that they wouldn’t honor the sale price and that I could get a 20% discount on my next purchase. I even sent a tweet to the CEO but no response. Seems very complicated for a purchase of recreational items. I don’t think I deserved the unpleasant email for asking about the policy. I don’t think I will be back for additional items. Just too difficult and unhelpful staff.

Great to see another mountaineering company come out of Wyoming. Staff was very nice and helpful. Clothes seems pretty decent. I bought a jacket and Ive been very pleased with it so far.

Stio has lots of gear but very pricey. The brands are good and the gear is nice just not at a price point I can appreciate.
