Very clean and quiet. I loved that the location is out a little bit from the crazy crowds in Jackson. Our room was large and the beds were as comfortable as I’ve slept in at high end hotels. The water pressure in the shower was great, which is important to me. All of the staff we encountered were helpful and nice. The bonus of free coffee at the convenience store next door was unexpected and welcome. I’d definitely stay here again.
Flat Creek was a lovely part of a wonderful visit to Jackson Hole! The Inn is located right outside of downtown Jackson, maybe a 5 min drive to be in the center of town, so allows for a little bit of quiet and away from hustle. Rooms were clean and the linens on the beds were very comfortable. Due to Covid, there is currently no daily housekeeping service, but that was not a problem for my family. Great views out the door and a nice drive up to Yellowstone. The convenience store was an added bonus for convenience. Good value in a very expensive area with not many options under 500 per night during high season. Recommend.
This place is absolutely amazing! Just to start, the staff is VERY friendly, accommodating and personable! The rooms were clean, had everything we needed and everything worked as it should. Every room has a view, and the sunrises are stunning from the porches!! My family and I stayed for 4 nights (even was able to add an extra night on last minute), and I would absolutely stay here again!
We loved our stay at Flat Creek Inn! Best location for visiting Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks. Clean, comfortable and fresh hot cocoa whenever we wanted. The staff was so friendly and accommodating. We look forward to our next stay. Cant beat the scenery of Jackson Hole.
Had a great time at flat creek inn. Great location between the town of Jackson, with plenty of shopping and restaurants, and the Grand Tetons National park. Room was basic but had everything we needed. We had the room with the kitchen which was so nice to have the extra room and space in the fridge. Front office staff was friendly and helpful with restaurants to check out Jackson. Having access to laundry was also helpful. We were upstairs, no elevator but not a hard walk up. The fitted sheets didn’t quite fit the bed, seems they were for a full bed but tried to make it work for a queen. Would stay again.
Stayed at the Flat Creek Inn back in June 2021. We had a great experience and definitely would recommend it to anyone considering. We stayed for three nights while we explored the Grand Teton area. The Flat Creek Inn is centrally located between Jackson Hold and Grand Tetons. Service was excellent, beds were very comfortable, kitchenette with the room, and the free hot chocolate, tea, and coffee at the convenience store was definitely a plus!
Positive: Staff was very friendly and helpful responding immediately to any need we had. Also, its really nice having a convenience store and gas station connected to the hotel...free coffee, tea, or hot chocolate for guests. Negative: Nothing really important to say here, but minor inconveniences were too few towel racks and only one nightstand with our king bed. We stayed multiple nights and both of us needed a place to plug in and to put CPAP, eyeglasses, phone, book, cup, etc.
The bed sheets didnt fit the bed. They kept coming off. One side had a hole in the bed sheets. The carpet was stained, and the tub had serious wear spots. The AC had a governor on it, and wouldnt get down to where we set it. I wouldnt stay here again.
We had a great three day stay at Flat Creek Inn. It was very close to the Airport and town. The view is amazing from the hotel of the Elk Refuge and the rooms were very comfy. I would highly recommend booking this hotel your next stay in Jackson. We will stay again.
Positive: The hotel locates at a very accessible location and within short distance to Jackson Hole and the airport, thus its very convenient. Negative: We got two rooms, but one is a smoking room, but the hotel is fully booked. So we had to accept it. This is a minor annoyance.
Nice location, friendly staff, rooms a little dated but clean. I did get up one morning walk out looks on the mountain behind the hotel and see five grizzly 🐻.
Flat Creek Inn was amazing! We were lucky enough to get a room very last minute, and the hostess was so sweet! The rooms are very clean and cute! I would recommend Flat Creek to anyone!
Positive: Good size room. Comfortable beds Negative: Bath room small
Very friendly staff, and very accommodating to the circumstances that I found my family in. Super cute room with an actual kitchen! If I ever plan on going back for a vacation there, I will be staying at this inn. Highly recommend!
Had the best time in Jackson, a very beautiful and serene place. What made it more amazing was Flat Creek Inn. Rooms were clean and the view was very beautiful, specially in the morning. Bery accessable since its on the side of the road. It was close to the airport the town and also the National Museum of Wildlife Art . There is a gas station and a mini mart which opens at 6 in the morning. The location was perfect. It’s preety close to everything but not too close.
We stayed at the Flat Creek Inn for our week in Jackson WY. Great views of the National Elk Refuge right across the street. Good free coffee in the attached convenience store which had a nice supply of goods. We booked a kitchen room and cooked in a couple nights. Very friendly staff!
This hotel is in a perfect location. It’s less than 10 minutes north from everything Jackson has to offer and just south of Grand Teton National Park. It’s also directly across from the National Elk Refuge, which has a trail that many people were walking or biking on. The Flat Creek Inn has their own gas station and convenient store, which makes life a little easier. I gave this place 4 stars since the beds were a little stiff and you could hear people walking around if you were on the first floor. I would gladly stay here again though!
Positive: Considering the price of motels and hotels in the area, this met our needs of a clean place to sleep. Nothing fancy.
We had a great time at the Flat Creek Inn! This family run hotel also has a gas station and convenient store. It is in a great location, especially if you are visiting Grand Teton National Park. Super convenient, great view, away from the crowded downtown Jackson, clean, and friendly staff. Glad we stayed here. The convenient store clerk Quinn was especially helpful! We look forward to returning.
We stayed here for 3 nights recently. It is an older hotel but a great location, outside of the main Jackson downtown area, and on the way to the Park. The king-bed room was just fine. The bathrooms need updating but are adequate. You park your car in front of your room (if on ground level, which we were), which is nice to unload/load/etc, you dont have to bother with going thru a lobby or doing an elevator/stairs. The bed/pillows were very good. There was a refrigerator/(small freezer) in the room, which was nice for us to store leftovers and other things in. The street noise at night was not bad at all. The young man, Quinn, in the office was very courteous and helpful. The room does not have a view, just a curtained window on to the parking lot area, so if you plan on spending a good amount of your time in your room, look elsewhere. But we were very pleased with this hotel, overall.
This establishment has it all. And a convenient store downstairs. Handicapped are the most.
The first room given to me had not been cleaned, not a big deal just a little annoying. The employee was apologetic and gave me a new room which was very nice and clean. The only problem was that I could hear EVERYTHING happening in the room next to me and I could feel the floor moving whenever someone walked by outside. Great views though and nice decor
Wow, I love this place. It was already my favorite, then I walked outside to get my luggage and a doe was outside going to the office to get food. I was headed to the office to have the staff come hang up the curtains just a few minutes after they closed for the night. The extremely nice gentleman came to hang the curtains in the room before leaving for the night. (They had just finished renovating the room.) So impressive. Besides the extra, extra care the housekeeping staff spend a ton of time in the room to make every truly exceptional a few different towel animals in the room, besides all the Kleenex and the toilet paper crafted to look like Roses. So beautiful! Best hotel ever in Jackson!
I loved the location and staff were very helpful and friendly. Overall the room was smaller than anticipated but was nicely stocked with necessities. Unfortunately I found that the bathroom and shower needed much better cleaning (there were prior guests hairs) and overall the room needs updating (the lightbulb cover was missing in bathroom). The mattresses were old and sunk in the middle. Yet the bed linens were very clean. I hope this Inn can improve. I also find the prices for lodging in Jackson unreasonably high, especially for value offered.
The reviews are what brought me here and maybe its nice service but the rooms are very dated, although clean, but the bed mattresses are the worst. It would be 10x better if that only was replaced. It for sure would make me not come back or suggest to others.
Great place, great location, great people at fair prices! Its not the Ritz but if youre looking for a very clean, comfortable place to stay in Jackson, this is the place
Positive: This was a suite and it had (2) bathrooms for a King suite along with a Washer/Dryer. The hotel provided tide/bounce with the room and provided extra when needed. There is a little balcony and couch, table, and kitchenette.
We enjoyed our stay at the Flat Creek Inn! It is just a bit outside of town, so that accounts for the lower price, but it was just what we needed. A great place to get clean and rested after a long day hiking in the Tetons.
I loved this place. Staff are amazing and kind. Very clean. Not huge but I felt it was perfect for us. 4 mom, dad and 2 daughters! Really appreciated their folks and the little store. Really close to Downtown Jackson and really close to Teton!
This is a very nice place! Stayed in a deluxe room for a couple of nights. It was clean and tidy, very cosy, quiet. On the picture you can see one of the local supervisors that greeted us while parking. The rest of the staff was nice as well. The spot is right by the Elk Refuge, has a good view and gorgeous sunrises! I actually enjoyed being a bit out of town. Thanks!
There was some room confusion at check in that finally got sorted out; once we got settled in, everything was good. The facilities and room were clean and everything was in working order. There was/is some maintenance going on so some parking was roped off. The rooms were pretty quiet. The views were great. The National Elk Refuge is across the highway and there were upwards of 5-8000 elk within view. A strong camera lens or binoculars will help. You need to stop in the market and try a Jackson Hole Soda. Pretty tasty old fashioned soda. We stayed for two nights and all in all the stay was definitely worth the price of the room. Our room was a 1/3 of the price of most accommodations downtown and far less commotion going on. We recommend Flat Creek Inn.
This is such a homey, comfortable Inn. Nothing fancy, It fulfilled all of our needs. Clean, conveniently located. Loved our stay there May, 2020. Staff very friendly. Thank you!
There’s a lot of problems of this place.... it’s unacceptable for it being in a great spot in Jackson Hole. They don’t listen to the customers needs. I’m really disappointed in this place, I only live an hour away from there and due to winter conditions I couldn’t commute back home. Worst hotel to be in.Lack of communication and hospitality. Especially the cleanliness, it’s horrible because there was a layer of dust on the lamp and a ball of hair in the sheets.Dirty establishment.
Stay away from this hotel! Customer service is aweful. The front desk lady and the manager Kyle needs to be removed from this hotel.
We booked our final night here because it was the closest to the airport. We wound up not booking until a day before and I was happy they could accommodate us. The gentleman on the phone was extremely nice and helpful.Room wound up being both the nicest and cheapest of our trip.We did have some issues. The air conditioner didnt work (it went from 65 to 82 and back and forth). When trying to call the front desk discovered the phone didnt work (so I used my cell phone). While the front desk clerk tried to fix she was unable. She called maintenance but apparently they never called her back. We were offered a fan or to move rooms (but by this time we were unpacked and needing to go to bed for our early flight). We made the decision to stay in the room.I would definitely stay here again - things again. Overall I loved the room and it had everything we needed.
Worst mattress I ever tried to sleep on and I tried both. Marriott prices, Motel 3 accomodations. Unfortunately we booked for 3 nights. Ownership certainly not re-investing huge profits in mattresses. Will say it was reasonably clean and decent location. Will NOT be back.
Bed is super uncomfortable. Found hair from previous guest or guests. Pictures look a lot nicer than the actual room. To top it off you need to clean your own room during COVID. Why would people pay crazy prices for this type of service?
Used to be a great place to stay for the money but now their prices have went way up in 2019. In may I was able to get a two bed room condo for less than what they wanted for a room. We have stayed here for years but will not at the prices they want now. I will say the staff has always been friendly and helpful. But for the money there is a lot better deals out there.
We stayed here last week for two days. The young man in reception when we checked in was very friendly. We arrived early and only one of our rooms was available. He promised us that is soon as the other room became available he would let us know. We put all of her luggage in one room and a few minutes later received a call that the other room was ready! He gave us a recommendation for someplace to grab lunch and off we went. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The website provided recommendations for dinner, and some hikes. We took the recommendation for one of the hikes and it was fabulous, and had a nice conversation with a gentleman at the front desk after the hike. He told us that he was the one who had recommended it.I guess the only negative comment that I can make and it’s a small one, is that there was a fair amount of road noise, but after a long day of hiking that was pretty easy to overlook.
Good price. Good view. Good room.Totally worth it.
Good location and easy check in
Only stayed one night, 4 min drive to downtown!
Very nice, gigantic room for a fair price. Staff was very friendly. Comfortable beds & everything perfectly clean. A big plus for us was the free airport shuttle. Will stay here again when visiting the Jackson area
Nice place, staff stayed open a little past office closing so I could get a room.
Stayed at Flat Creek 4 nights. No maid service the entire stay. If you needed anything you had to find it yourself. Water pressure was so low you had to run around in the shower to get wet. Their accommodations were cut but their prices sure weren’t. I won’t come back here and I would not recommend this motel to anyone.
We had a wonderful stay here! Anything we needed was well taken care of. The room was comfortable, and it was great to finally stay somewhere with free WiFi. The staff were kind, and the inn was located next to a nice little Park area. Good location right next to Grand Tetons!
The combination of lodging, convience store and fuel station is a perfect combination for visiting the area. The rooms are comfortable, clean and inviting. The staff is friendly and helpfull.
I chose this hotel due to its proximity to the airport and was pleasantly surprised by its value. It exceeded my expectations. My room was clean, didnt have the typical budget hotel aroma, and had lots of free goodies. Earplugs, hot chocolate, extra cups, bottled water etc. The gas station next door was convenient for last minute snacks. The blinds kept the room nice and dark, made it great for sleeping in. View from front door was beautiful.
A great value for its location. You are a quick jaunt away from the bustle of Jackson and also near the airport. Its also in a great spot for those making trips up to Teton and Yellowstone Parks. Would recommend!
The hotel was decent and the view was amazing!! One room we had ended up having issues with the AC, but we let Tanner know and he took care of it no problem! Wonderful staff and for a great price! Will definitely stay there again if in the area.
We stayed there during a trip up Grand Teton National Park and we loved the little motel. Super close to the park, helpful staff and the views from each room are amazing! Definitely would recommend
Very good place to stay -- away from the crowds (and prices) in Jackson. Convenient, just off the main road from the Tetons to Jackson. Not fancy but clean with comfortable beds and a good shower. Convenient parking. Friendly check-in and easy check-out. A good place to stay.
Great location close to Jackson, 15 minutes from Teton Village, 2miles from downtown Jackson. They pointed us to some good food joints, Free breakfast snacks, free coffee, clean room every day. They run a well stocked convenient store and cheap gas right outside the motel. Everyone was super friendly even the mule deer out front.
Nice rooms, great view of the elk refuge.
I have stayed at this Inn on numerous occasions. I love the place. My first stay there was 17 years ago. Then again a couple of years later when I spend almost an entire month there. I returned recently and the rooms have been upgraded and the staff is wonderful. I wanted to extend my visit due to the weather and they did everything they could to accommodate me even though they had a full house. I highly recommend this Inn. Also when I walked in the room it was so clean and nicely set up. Even the towels were folded like a five star hotel. Love it.
This place was horrendous!!! Dirtiest rooms I have ever seen bugs everywhere do not even consider this is by far the worst place in the town the beds where the worst.
We stayed here for one night in June. The room is clean and spacious. The owner provided free coffee. We enjoyed the stay here. There is 5 minutes drive to Jackson downtown. But the price is good enough to choose here. Will definitely come back. The room also has refrigerator and coffee machine, that is super nice!
An affordable room with a beautiful view. Everyone was extremely helpful and cordial. Also SUPER close to the Grand Teaton national park!!!!
We had a great stay here. Clean rooms and attentive staff. Will definitely stay again.
Abby is a great hostess! Quaint facility with great service!
Awesome experience. The staff was awesome. Rooms were very clean. The view from this hotel is the best around. Also it was nice to stay there because unlike the other hotels in there, parking is not a problem at all. I have stayed in a few hotels in Jackson, but staying there was by far my best experience there. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone!
I have stayed at Flat Creek before. I arrived quite late (11 p.m.) and left early the next morning. I had no trouble finding my room location and a key (left in a mailbox next to the office). Room, as before was clean, comfortable, quiet, very good value for the money in Jackson. Warning: if there is no one in the office to answer the telephone, or it is busy, there is no way to leave a message. Received a prompt response to an e-mail query. The office closes at 5:30 in winter.
We enjoyed our recent stay at the Flat Creek Inn. Our room was very clean and the staff was very kind and friendly. I loved the convenience of having a gas station close by. It’s the perfect distance from town…just a few minutes away but you get more of the country feel. The view from the front is absolutely beautiful overlooking the elk refuge and the mountains. I think the Jackson Hole area is one of the prettiest places on earth. We enjoyed our stay and we will definitely come back again. Would definitely recommend.
A clean, comfy room walking distance from Jackson. We were given loads of info about the area when we checked in, including free helpful hiking maps and a dining guide. Everyone was friendly. Loved our stay.
Our car broke down on the Teton Pass on a Sunday evening as we were driving through WY back to Denver, CO. After our car was towed into town, we worried about where we would stay. We were so fortunate that the Flat Creek Inn had a couple of rooms left- they took us right in (without an inflated last minute rate) and gave us an extra big room for our family. We greatly appreciated their genuine concern for our unfortunate car mishap, they went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had what we needed. And they allowed us to check out a little bit later (without an extra charge) because our car wasnt fixed until almost noon. We were so grateful for their excellent customer service, we loved the cleanliness of the room, the friendly and professional staff, and all the extras the room had available for our convenience. Thank you thank you Flat Creek Inn for taking care of us Coloradans! :)
Completely dropped the ball on my reservation and that of my sister-in-law. Fortunately, the manager made good, but after we showed him our written confirmation. Nice location, friendly staff, great view and the best all you want all day hotel coffee and tea. Only 2 miles from downtown Jackson.
Positive: Location Negative: No
We stayed here two nights late in April 2017 and thought is was great, will definitely stay here on our next trip to Jackson. Rooms were clean, neat and comfortable, good TV with Dish satellite, fast stable wifi, the microwave and refrigerator in the room was a surprise and an awesome addition. The staff at the front desk and the little store/gas station were also super nice. Take a walk behind the hotel in the evening, we saw about 40 deer on the hill behind the hotel. Well done Flat Creek.
My husbands car had a tire issue and Kyle and his staff were quick to offer their help. Kyle went above and beyond for us. We are so grateful. Flat Creek is a friendly and helpful stop in Jackson :-)
We enjoyed the Stay and Sleigh special on Valentines day. Quite a bargain. The breakfast from the mart was really good. The sleigh ride reservation was made for us by the Flat Creek Inn. Our room was clean and quiet. Not too fancy, but very nice considering the bargain rate. When we got back home I realized Id left my Kindle on the bed. The Inn mailed it back to me right away. So happy!
The views from this hotel are great. From your window, you see the hill/mountain side. However, unlike other hotels it isnt close enough to the main part of town to be in walking distance so youll need to drive back and fight for a parking spot and the traffic. When we got checked in at the hotel, our room was okay (minus a light that one person in our party thought we got fixed but later started flickering again) but the DirectTV didnt work until we asked the front desk to fix. While there was no breakfast, they did allow you to have free coffee from their store. We did know that this was what we were getting, but for the price that this hotel cost, it was not very impressive.
Not open?! No signs about not being open?! I just wanted some food and gas but
This motel is right off the highway; but surprisingly the noise was not bad. They are nice and clean, conveniently located with a gas station and mini mart next to them. They have good A/C and the place was quiet. I did not hear the neighbors at all.
We stayed at the Flat Creek Inn for 6 nights and found the room and service to be superb! Its the closest motel to Grand Teton National Park, and right across from the National Elk Refuge. Close enough to Jackson for convenience of shopping and dining, but far enough away from the busyness of the town. Really appreciated the microwave and refrigerator in the room, and the flat-screen TV with hundreds of channels. Reasonable rate and nicely re-decorated since the last time we stayed here. Our accommodation of choice when we come to the Tetons! : )
I absolutely love the flat creek inn and would highly recommend! It’s alittle more rustic then some of the luxury hotels in town/resort, but it’s clean, comfortable, affordable, and most importantly has an amazing view! See elk right out the front door and a family of deer right out the back! Thank you Kyle for making sure customer service is 100% all the time!
Great little market and CLEAN bathrooms 👍🏻
We enjoyed our stay. The staff was especially helpful. Its right outside of Jackson on your way to the Tetons. Id recommend staying there to anyone.
Among the worst motels in my extensive travel experience. Price was too high for the poor quality. The outdated room got loud noise from both the road and people upstairs. Door could not lock tight so insects could get in. The manager tried to charge me for 3 nights for my 2 nights advanced booking. The most i can give is one star only for the location and beautiful view.
I stayed at Flat Creek Inn this past weekend and it was perfect for what we needed. Our room was very clean and appeared to have just been remodeled. The staff was friendly and accommodating to our needs. It was convenient to have a food mart and gas station attached to the hotel so we didnt have to travel far if we needed to get gas, snacks, or other necessary needs. I was a huge fan of the hotels location. It is just outside of Jackson City, so parking was not an issue, and there was not much noise at night. There is also a fantastic view right outside of your door. All in all, I highly recommend this Inn for those visiting Jackson, or passing through on their way to Yellowstone.
It is a great 2* hotel. Dont expect wonders, but it has all basic amenties:- CLEAN rooms- Comfortable Beds- Good Showers- Reasonably quiet AC- Good WifiThey do have free coffee/hot chocolate in room. I would have also liked to have tea bags in the room.Location is a couple of miles after Jackson. So I ended up going back to Jackson for breakfast every day before going back to Grand Tetons/Yellow Stone.Overall.. quite good. Would consider staying there again.
Great service at the counter! Wonderfully homey feel in the room. And the view in the morning was great!
This motel has made huge improvements since the new ownership took over. I love the location right across from the elk refuge. My room was clean and comfortable and I was happy to be able to stay in Jackson for an affordable price.
Stayed here for a Teton climbing trip. Perfect for what we needed!
This place was clean, people are extremely friendly and helpful the rooms had a fridge & microwave. You get all the coffee and hot chocolate you want 24/7 as well as ice which is a plus. The only down side is that its not really that close in the middle of the town and its not really walking distance either. Other than that its lovely.
Flat creek inn is amazing for the price. We had cathedral ceilings, a comfortable bed, and could not hear our neighbors. I would highly recommend this inn.
Beautiful location. Not very expensive. Clean rooms and great service. Close proximity to Jackson, WY and Grand Teton National Park. Highly recommended.
You cannot beat the view when you stay here! Will absolutely stay here again when I visit Jackson Hole in the future.
An island of calm and helpfulness. Gas price higher than listed on Google maps. Nevertheless, glad I chose to get gas there, towing my camping trailer. Easy access.
Pretty nice hotel but when we go to our room they didnt empty any of the trash cans from the previous guest. They are also not open late so it was hard to get our key when we showed up. Other then that it seems Otherwise clean and has really nice views from the front.
The staff here at flat creek in made me feel like family! Great rooms and an even better location!
This motel has the most incredible view of any motel Ive ever stayed at. It is great to be near Jackson but not in Jackson, and it sure is wonderful having a convenience store that is basically part of the motel. This motel has its quirks but it is a great bargain.
It was wonderful. The rooms were at a decent price. You had a great view and service here was amazing.
Great place to stay with great price.
Not quite as described. The rooms with a fully stocked kitchenette.....well if you call no spoons and an old pot with mold fully stocked then I suppose it is. When I asked for more kitchen equipment, I was handed a box of pots and pans from a rummage sale.....one actually had old bacon grease still in it...literally. WI-FI is ridiculously slow, the 3g on my phone was actually faster. The laundry facility is actually (1) washer and (1) dryer.....for 50 or more guests...really. The noise from the highway is terrible. For the price, there are certainly better options in town.
Low shower pressure, great room and view. Convenient location. Good free coffee. No breakfast
