This Petro has clean bath and restvrooms, good size parking lot, truck wash and even barber shop. I caould not really complain about anything. Good job Petro.

WARNING ⚠️I just purchased diesel from this Petro, be aware of their diesel is horrible. After driving 200 miles DEF Regent required. I went to other truck stop and purchased Deep diesel cleaner, I’m attaching the proof of pics. By the way my truck is new 2020 Volvo. Very disappointed, I just don’t want other driver feel what I felt after driving 200 miles

10.99 for a chicken dinner after hours. 1 chicken thigh, 1 scoop green beans (likely canned), 1 scoop mashed potatoes (no gravy). Now, most petros charge less for a stacked hot meal. Beer case was hot, broken or turned off. Just not what im used to. No large ice cups either. Just wanted to watch a movie and have a good nights rest. Parking was available at midnight though. Fair review in my opinion! Better than a dirt lot.

Usually when I make a stop things are OK. For whatever reason today things have been horrible. Cant get a straight answer for getting service done, and their phone etiquette is the worst ever at best. I generally get all my work on my truck done at petro or TA, Stopping at the petro in Jackson really makes me want to not ever use petro TA again. This place has hired a bunch of children

Please never use the road service from here they charge me to much for nothing, the mechanic that show up just need to erase the codes but he dont even know how to use the video call on his phone and also he not do nothing to the truck anf waste all day waithing for them, but he just take 2 hours to get there and live back to the shop and he charge me 2 more hours, And apart from this they call you with threats so that you pay them something that did not do, I can not say bad words by here but they already know what i am thinking

The petro truck stop was really clean. It had a medical clinic in there, barbershop..massage chairs, pool tables. The whole nine yards. Just dont eat at the iron skillet unless youve got time, also the waitress was not friendly and didnt provide us with syrup,salt, or pepper. I had to ask.

So clean and friendly I forgot it is a Petro. I don’t know what they did here, but the employees actually seem to care, unlike most petro/TA.

The only positive thing about this place, is the large parking lot. Otherwise, its definitely not up to expectations of a Petro. Restaurant is never open, and no food at night in the store. Needless to say, you will starve at this place if youre stuck here for any length of time. Lots of shady cars cruising the lot at all hours. They have both bathrooms closed as well, and claim the water lines are froze. This is really funny because its 65° outside. I think the staff are just being lazy, and dont want them open. Guess they dont mind us using the parking lot as our bathroom then? What a terrible Petro by all standards. Ive been a driver for years, and have to say that TA, and Petro both are seriously going down hill. They used to be prime stops but anymore theyre just an overpriced gas station. We seriously need a real truck stop out here again!

Stopped there many times when traveling and working, great place stop and kick back and take a break, friendly and courteous people works there.All services youll need,fax,feul, restaurant, convenient store,truck shop,cat scale, laundry, showers,atm,tv room, handy cap access, handy cap parking, huge parking area, right off interstate i-20, access from the frontage road and city streets,plus theres plenty of other amenities you might need in all directions, things you need to know when traveling.

The sherrif officer thats on duty right now is awesome. I was having trouble finding parking due to a lot of dropped trls and he made a space for me next to the reserve spots for free. Thank u sir.

All I wanted was a cold bottle of milk....too much to ask? Yep. The clerk admitted that they have to leave the cooler doors open for hours when they restock the cooler because its so cold in there...this admission being made while refunding the $3.23 for the milk I bought which was full of chunks. Every bottle of milk dated Jul 10th or later had chunks. Complete waste....in the name of......too lazy to put on a jacket to stock the cooler.

Just so you know this is my first one star review I go to petro to have a first class shower experience having 20 year dread locks i dont wash my hair often but when I need to on the road i go to petro. A big part of the reason I do is not having to ask for an extra towel to wrap up my hair. I get a shower at this so-called petro and right next to the pledge of having the best shower on the interstate is a towel rack with only one towel, one face-rag, and one floor-mat. Still needing to wash my hair i went to ask for an extra towel and was denied. Some excuse about too many towels walking off so I ended up with my hair in the one towel provided using the smallest hair dryer Ive ever seen to speed up the air drying process the cord was zip tied to make it so short that i had to get my 6 frame into some really awkward positions. Hopefully this gets fixed soon as my next complaint will be to petros corporate office.

Stopped in this afternoon for my ten hour break an was refused food and service bc of having a medical service dog even after shopping his paperwork and explaining that he was an actual service dog still refused to serve me. Went in to purchase coffeeSheriff sitting in the lobby area told me I wasnt allowed to enter the shopping center because I wasnt a truck driverI argued with him, he never identified as a police or sheriffHe watched me like a hawk the entire time I was making and buying my coffeeI went out the back of the store to walk around to the front to avoid himI sat out front for a few minutes to sip my coffee, he comes out, with his hand on his gun screaming that I am not allowed to be thereThere is a 15 minute loitering law, which I had not even exceeded 5 minutes of.He threatened to shoot my dog and take me to jail for simply drinking my coffee.Then proceeded to accuse me of stealing the coffee he just watched me pay for.Absolute mind screw. That petro can let someone like THAT into their property.

Really clean the staff was amazing and friendly went to iron skillet food was great as well as the waitress was great would definitely recommend to anyone.

I drive truck for a living I stopped here to spend the night at this truck stop. I paid for the reserve spot. I went in to get a shower. When I got done with my shower this is what happens to your leg because maintenance didnt take care of this. Getting out of a hot shower and poking your leg on this is ridiculous. I would not stop at this Petro ever again.

Love stopping here,cashiers and manager is nice. Security is hard working and funny. However shower cleaners are slow and waitresses are super duper slllloooow. Hot buffet was taken out. So you have to wait for food, till the waitresses decides to wait on you. Waited a 1/2 hour to get a menu, 1/2 more for drink and to take order, 1/2 hour more to get food. Have 2 hours to waste if getting food! Soups are the same day after day.

Stopped here many times in my past travels great place to stop and take a break from the the road pressures good food nice people works there like home folks all the amenities you might need and if not plenty of other amenities nearby. Plenty of parking easy access from different roads and right off the interstate.

This is a nice Petro gets pretty crowded at night but what place doesnt! They have a truck wash right next door security is always here from what I see. Nice hot showers some paid parking alot free though. The outlets are a few miles down the street which are very nice! Cigarette prices are very reasonable here as well

I’ve visited this Petro probably more than any other Petro in the US, never have I been displease. Always friendly and professional employees. Some of the cleanest restrooms on the road. Spacious showers always professionally cleaned. Great snacks and on the go food items. The Iron Skillet is one of the best. Always fresh hot food, courteous service.

I would like to know who I can file a claim too and make a complaint for the service I received on my truck. Almost 700 dollars spent of my money out of my own pocket for a coolant leak which by the way caused me to break down today leaving home. I was robbed of the repairs and I will probably be reporting something to the better business bureau!!!!!!!! I dont like giving up money for a issue matter of fact 2 issues that were supposed to be fixed!!!!!!!!!!

I ate at the restaurant and the food is terrible. The mashed potatoes were cold and the hamburger steak was under cooked. I have been driving for over 30 years and this is the worst petro in the country.

Parking not to bad. If you dodge all the potholes. The restaurant salad bar not great ok but the whole store smelled like sewer I will avoid this one like the plague in the future the place needs a good cleaning fuel price not bad. The place is rundown, the only good thing about it was the young lady who worked in the morning she was friendly and the new server in the restaurant. Both girls should run. No future there for them

Well lets start from the top. 20+ Dropped trailers, called in to tell them. Got hung up on. Finally had to pay $18.00 to pay to park. Because almost half the parking lot is pay to park. Which is fine but if thats what there going to do then get the Dropped trailer out of there. Went in to pay to park and got an Attitude for the manager on duty. So at the point I reluctantly went to the restaurant where I ordered food to go. I got the Biscuits and gravy you with 2 eggs on top. When it was given to me. It was sideways in the bag. And instead of fixing it. After I fixed it the best I could while the waitress watch me. I asked for a new bag that didnt have gravel all in the bottom. I was told sure thing. Then here comes a unopened bag flying over my shoulder. Sorry lady that I didnt tip you for a to go order. But thats not how you treat ppl. And just an FYI I dont tip and fastfood places for a to go order either.Please someone from Petro please contact me. I would love to talk more about this.

The Petro truck stop used to be one of favorite stops to get a hot meal from the restaurant. But when I stopped there this morning to have my Sunday morning sit down breakfast from the buffet, surprisingly there was no buffet set up. When I asked the waitress if they are late setting up the buffet, she replied no-there is no buffet anymore, only soup and salad. So that does for me. Ive noticed Petro has been making some changes lately to many of their truck stops. For instance they are getting rid of buffet style meals in their restaurants, and also making more than half of their parking spots as reserved parking.

Im a driver in training, and this is near the school. Small, but some nice amenities. Some pool tables, massage chair, a barber shop and a small medical clinic (with bankers hours) available, plus the usual c-store chow. Theres also a casual restaurant on site. Biodiesel, too.

The food was great! We visited here after coming from a night out on the town. We ate breakfast! You have to try their NY Strip and eggs with hash browns and dont forget the orange juice. Awesome!!!! My server was great as well but I cant remember her name. She was awesome!

Food awful. The few who were eating in restaurant were all complaining. Had thugs shooting pool and hanging out in hallway. They werent even truck drivers. 5 years ago this was a nice place but since has gone to hell!! If I could give it a negative star rating I would. Will never be back

Stopped in for gas, again. The RV is a gas hog! We should have gotten a diesel pusher. But anyway, gas prices were good and place was clean. Had no issues with anyone that I know of.

Clean diesel- eng idles smooth vs loves pilot. Food buffet fresh hot. Nice staff in store. Shop needs more elder experienced mechanics vs sounds like this, might be that. Clean showers. Overall get before 5pm if u want to park

5 hours and still waiting for a pm. Very slow! 4-5 mechanics are walking around, but im lucky, i got one whos not moving at all😡😡😡Mechanics is too mach said... theyre a bunch of amateurs walking around in dirty shop clothes!!!

I was stunned. A waitress basically called a driver a liar about a phone order that the driver said she placed. Even if it was incorrect this waitress certainly could have been more professional. When I asked about the buffet she seemed to enjoy telling me there is no longer a buffet. My biggest regret is I did not get her name for this post.

Very disappointed at the restaurant. They were out of the drinks we wanted that were specifically advertised and our orders were both wrong. Be careful what you order and be sure to specify that you want what the menu says youre supposed to get

I had a trailer mudflap replaced here. It took them an hour to get it done. They were in no worry to get it done even though I said I was in a mad hurry And no they were not busy what so ever! Also the mechanic was talking about some inappropriate things that made me uncomfortable! I do not know how the main part of the store is but however the shop... I will never be getting anything from there again!

Stopped in for a shower and some breakfast for supper. Shower was clean and well stocked. The breakfast was ok. But we ordered meals that included sausage and the sausage tasted like it was very old. Didnt eat it. But the eggs, bacon, and French toast were pretty good. Service was a little slow, but friendly and efficient.

My husband went in to cash an EFS check. We had a dead battery, and once we paid for the jump off, we will buy fuel. Both the cashiers & mgr refused to cash the efs check without a fee as we werent buying fuel at the time. We were going to buy fuel once your service jumped off our truck. This is not acceptable. We wont be buying fuel from Petro or the T/A s again. Your fuel is higher than the other places, so we will be buying from the other places as we have done.

Friendly staff, great food, clean, great merchandise that you see elsewhere at a higher price. Im so satisfied, Ill be back to eat and shop again. It has become my new shopping center.

The store is ok the people or Associates are always charming and sweet at least to me. But go to the diner and its a different story. Every time I eat at that location of the iron skillet, my waitress has no interest in serving. I always leave a big tip if Im served well served very poorly I leave no tip. This is the sixth time Ive left no tip for a different waitress every time.

Other than the odd odor inside the building, the ladies restrooms were clean the shower was clean and had good water pressure. I had the shrimp basket in the restraunt and was very happy to find they offered sweet potato fries (my favorite!). The cocktail sauce has a real bite to it as they make it with horseradish. YUM!! The laundryroom is nice and clean. There are two dryers for each washer. $3 each, you can use quarters or a credit card to pay. This is a good sized truck stop with LOTS of parking BUT, because of the location it fills up fast. There are 24 paid spots. I think this truck stop could easily have 200 more parking spots and will still be full. The people who work here both in the store and restaurant are super nice. I will be back.

1 server in the restaurant and hes not happy cuz he doesnt have any help...parking lot is full on a Saturday afternoon...pay only parking left...not too bad of a place for a 34hr reset...shower 5 had great water pressure. Breakfast was not the best here...they need serious help in revamping this place

Stopped in to get a tire changed. Went inside to use restroom and get breakfast. They were finishing up the work by the time I got back to the truck. Was there for less than an hour. Fast friendly service😊. Slim picking in the buffet, but still think they deserve 5 stars.

Never in my life have I ever had such awful good. For one we were over charged. The chicken strips were soggy and greesy and the fries were soft and greese the hamburger steak was wrong size and was old meat that sour and runt. They dont understand grave on the side. I will never go back there to eat. If was awful.

Friendly staff is the only nice thing I can say. Awkwardly designed parking. Very dirty facility and in disrepair. Restrooms and restaurant are not clean. Need to hire a custodian or two; to fix and clean the place. Food mediocre. Coffee terrible. The review mentioning unwashed towels; well, I did happen to witness the shower attendant taking the towels from showers to the coin dryers. So, yeah, he was not wrong about unwashed towels.

I watched the deputy sheriff drive very slowly in front of all trucks with all lights blazing while drivers are trying to sleep if you have a need for the deputy to cruise the lot most likely not a place you want to stop at but on the bright side the smoker smelled really good

Their attitudes are what you would see if you tell a 2 year old no.. pet friendly no one they dont wan the on the property let alone a 11 week old puppy who stays in my wifes arms and not hurting anything or anyone and is also sleeping while my wife is holding him while the truck is in the shop management had a fkn temper tantrum and called the police and said my dog was acting crazy all because I had him where it was cool and not in the heat. I wont be coming back to this Petro I will stay on the side of the road if their is no other truck stop close.

Rude people, just about all of them. As soon as you walk in, youre greeted with the foul smell of raw sewage. The staff makes you feel unwelcomed. The shower I had was average, I wouldnt call it hospital clean ! The water pressure was low. And it took three minutes for the water to get hot.Im glad that the iron skillet is being replaced with fast food chains, because once again the fried chicken was under cooked. The parking lot needs fixed. Ok Im tired of telling it like it is here. Im tired of the Petro and ta chains. Im going to become o loyal loves customer.

Showers clean restaurant awesome store is very clean and tidy. The restrooms need help. And the lot has cars racing thru it in the truck area. Trucks are in high range goin thru the back lot.

Holly cow!!! This place is terrible. Restroom is filthy. One stall, door didnt lock but had toilet paper, second stall didnt have toilet paper but door had a lock, last stall had nothing. This place is such a joke for truck drivers to be able to come, wash up and have a good nights rest. Good thing I only stop by here once in a blue moon. But when I do stop by, its such a disappointment in my opinion.

Awful coffee...Has gotten terrible since I drove a truck. I am heartbroken, they had some of the best coffee before they changed it.

I told her that she has a great personality for her job. I have been to several TA/Petro locations and she is by far one of the best Ive been helped by.
