We stopped for lunch. We loved Senate Coney Island in Livonia so we knew exactly what we wanted. Great food. Friendly employees. Food was as good as we imagined it would be. I only gave the 4 stars because of the layout. Had to go thru part of the kitchen to get to the bathrooms. The cheese cooler is right by the front door. But this place is over 100 years old so we didnt mind. We would go back again.

Delicious 1st off! It was breakfast which is my favorite meal, simple but easy to screw up. Hashbrowns were above average delicious. My raw onions side were fresh not all transparent. The staff was personable above all. Waitress was all over the refill of my coffee and kept it fresh and hot. Very clean and spotless bathrooms, really nice Bathrooms.
My whole family has always gone there. We all have always loved the food, service and the atmosphere. But today, I have to say this was the worst food and service I have ever experienced from anywhere!! We ordered the family meal, every hot dog was BURNT! They were so bad they were black and rubbery. Worst food we have ever got!! Wont be back
Picked up 2 dozen conveys, (not chili dogs, but original conveys with meat sauce made with beef heart). Very good, eat them for 2 days til gone.

Went to get burgers but they said the grill wasnt open so we just settled for a couple coneys. They were okay. Fresh and hot.
Food I received that day wasnt properly cooked and I feel as if I overpaid for my meal. Wasnt too satisfied with my first time and most likely only visit.
First time here, walked in 10 mins til closing and was still greeted by a friendly server. Ordered 2 cheese coneys and tater tots. Different kind of chili but was still tasty. Service great!

The service was very fast. The coney dogs were ok. Their burgers and fries are very good. They are very busy! I think that all the quick serv places are really working hard to get their businesses back up to speed in spite of shortages of people and supplies.

The breakfast was tasty & inexpensive. The only thing I didnt care for were the sausage patties. The sausage patties were similar to the McDonalds sausage patties🤮.

They changed up Hotdogs. Been coming here for over 20 years & this was my worse visit. Go back to your old hotdogs you use to use.

Seen a roach crawling over my plate I tell the waitress, she says thanks for telling me then said don’t worry about that plate but expects us to pay for the rest of the food. Who tf is gonna eat somewhere that seen a roach. Don’t recommend highly disappointed
I would give it a zero, but cant. Just walked out because no one attempted to wait on me & a buddy. They arent very busy. 1 other set of customers. All workers seem wrapped up in their own personal lives and not their customers. So now were at the Coney plaza few doors down. Good service here folks.

Dirty, the whole place had a film on all surfaces. Worst coney I have ever had. I would highly recommend never eating here. Only have one star rating because I had to.

I once met a women that got off the train in Jackson (she was headed for Detroit) and she had to get her coneys and run back before the train left the station. Thats how good they are~
Real Busy. Had to wait 15 minutes for to go order but the food was great!
Worst coney ever had. Told me 15 min. Was well over half hour. Looked like dogs been sitting there and wrapper that long. Go to eat Chili cheese fries no silverware or napkins. Tipped $7.00 wished would not of tipped anything.

We’ve always loved JCI, but they really have been amazing this year. Tonight we ordered through the Toast app, and it was super easy, our order was perfect, and the coneys were awesome... I had to eat mine with a fork because it was so stuffed full! Can’t wait to try a grinder. 🙂

Dudes pant were falling down while my rap was blander than white bread.
To much oil. Hot dogs were so over cooked onions were mushy. I was disappointed 😞 didnt like my coney dogs nor French fries. First time out since the covin.
Slight advantage over their neighbor, Virginia Coney. Onions and meat stand out more. Still feels average.

Shocked... always been attentive and decent priced.... Ordered Fish (cod fillets) chips with onion rings substitute for 2 dollars extra.... I did not receive Fillets... I got 3 processed fish sticks that were still cold in the center. The onion rings were obviously cut from old onions... The taste was OK but the onion texture was like chewing wet cardboard. Waitress couldnt push me to order fast enough... Once she delivered my coffee she would not come back until I called her back for a refill... She couldnt help but to give me my bill at the time of my order delivery. Never checked to see if I needed anything... Mind you, this was 3 pm Sunday.... Hardly rush time... Maybe 5 customers and 3 wait staff

Greatest dogs ever
Im from the south so the hot dog was OK. It was loose meat which was called I believe a sauce which it was not a sauce. I am used to hot dog chili southern style. But it was a nice atmosphere and cheap to eat. Wait staff was nice and food was hot. Probably would not go back if I am ever in that area again.
Very good! It was busy when I went so.... The folks working there are great. The food is also great. I have no complaints really... This place has been in business for a long time and now I know why.. Great place.

Pretty overcooked Burger, so, very dry. However the way it was put together was pretty good... Onion rings are delicious but $5 for 6 onion rings is a bit much. However it looks very clean and the people friendly
For the last two days I order from this place and all times they messed it up I had to bring back to orders of food because it was not correct they lied about heaven and tater tot‘s instead of axing me that I want french fries they did what they wanted to Maconi ‘s was not me the way I ask and it’s overpowering with onions I don’t think I’ll never be back
I love coming to this place. They are always so friendly every time I come here. I have to come all the from Battle Creek to just get Coney dogs. They are the best. They have such great people there. Ill always come here for my Coneys.

Have loved this place since I was a kid. As a teen, Id eat 6 coneys at a sitting. The service is super friendly. Prices are extremely low. The coneys taste as great as ever. If you want to step into a friendly diner and get plenty for your money, this is the place. Everything is very good in this place. Highly recoomend

Well my experience wasnt very well I told the girl at the cash register that takes the order I would like Coney Islands but I would like a little mustard and extra onions I told her this twice I get my order when I get home I was overwhelmed with all the mustard and there was no onions I dont believe Ill be going back there again I will make sure I go to Virginia Coney Island from now on
