This location has always been a go to place for certain things however due to the pandemic prices has increased slightly and some items rarely available however today the faygo drinks are always available plus some old school items like jacks type lemon cookies are my go to items sales are the plan to keep up with the deals on all other items

Good prices but many popular items cant b found example. French bread, simply lemonade, hard to find zucchini, I was told thier customers dont buy these items enough

Love the vegetables here! The meat selection is always fresh with great Pick 5 selection including bags of frozen vegetables 😋

This is usually a good store to shop at, but on this day they werent fully stocked!! They didnt even have any essential items. Overall when stocked and staffed property I would recommend Food Depot.and my rating for them would go up!!🙂

I am white. And that should not be a problem anywhere I go, just as it shouldnt be for any race. I go to this store helping and giving my black friends rides and I get the worst looks, especially with my male black friends.I dont see any blacks helping these friends of mine get to the store to do their grocery shopping.And I sure cant see anyone being jelly over me helping a friend.You get out of life what you put out there.If you treat someones friend of any race negatively, dont expect to get positivity in return.

I generally dont shop here often but we needed a few things for dinner and Food Depot is the closest store. I made a quick garden salad with Tyson chicken strips. I cooked in oven as preferred method on directions. They were so nasty I told my kids I wasnt making them eat it. Come to find out, the strips we did consume expired 7/7/17!! Called the store to speak with mgr. Wayne said wow, but never once asked what product it was. Im curious to know if this happens so often they dont bother to investigate how this food that is 5 months expired was overlooked. Either this is common practice or someone (or several) is not doing there job.

If youre looking to get a decent meal at a reasonable price then this is the place to stop. Get there ahead of the crowd because they start serving lunch now at 10:00a.m. The lunch prices are decent and you might get a laugh with the cooks going through the line! Good people!

Low prices, love the pick five for $19.99 meat deal. Easy to find what you need and the staff are willing to provide good service. Food Depot sells hot lunch plates and the food is delicious. Ample parking.

Great food and better quality than most places in Jackson MS. The card reader went down so we had to pay cash but I had none on hand. They held my items until I went to the ATM and returned with cash. They only got 4 stars because I had to leave to get cash because they dont have an ATM

Okay! I went there during the 4th of July holiday! I was looking for some beef ribs! Well they had some but was way over priced! I asked why were the beef ribs so high? And the reply I got was because people come in here stealing the steaks and other meat they have to boost the price on the other meat! Well of course I left those ribs right where they were! I felt like they were taking there frustrations out on innocent customers looking for a bargain. I went to another grocery store and bought beef ribs for half of what they were selling theirs for and they had plenty of meat on them! Sorry but I wont go back to that store again! Maybe their other store in South Jackson! This store get a 1 rating all day long!!

Needs more cleaning in restroom and there meat needs to be inspected because some of it has and odor of being spoiled. Needs work

I HAVE NEVER SEEN SUCH DISGUSTING, UNPROFESSIONAL BEHAVIOR IN MY LIFE! I went to front checkout area to find a store manager to ask about making large purchase. THE CASHIER was leaned across the register eating yogurt and annoyed when I asked her if a store manager was available.. She pointed the store manager out.. When he saw us looking at him, this man STARTING YELLING I aint on the clock yet..and started walking away.. Im trying to spend A LOT of money in this store and this manager never even bothered to see what I wanted.. Smh NEVER AGAIN though.

This is one ranky dank whole in the wall. The price of the can goods are ridiculous, and can of tomatoes for 1.59 cent? You must be out of your mind. Most items are over priced. The picks 5 are small. The pork chops have a nice representative on top, but when you get home nothing but fat and bones underneath. A lot of the vegetables are bruised and wrinkled. I guess they put that dump in a area where a lot of people may not have access to good transportation and have to get it where they can. I was visiting a friend who lives off Northside drive headed home to my side of town, I decided to stop because it was on my route. NEVER AGAIN. FORGET THAT. THEY CAN HAVE THAT OVERPRICED SLOP. no THANK YOU!

I went to the one on Northside a while ago and that short manager with that nasty attitude makes the store look bad. I saw him deal with a shoplifter. My think is ok its wrong, but either call the police but dont be a black person to them. They are people too. My thoughts only.
