The employees at Huttos are greatTheyre super helpful and they are professional. The only reason I didnt give Huttos 5 stars is because they dont deliver right now due to lack of drivers.

Will never go to this place again. Was told by an employee on the phone it would be OK to fill my grow bags with their potting soil. When I arrived after driving 40 miles I was told by someone whom I can only assume was one of the owners that they wouldnt allow me to fill the bags. They did eventually agree to dump a yard of it near their gate. I required more than one yard, but was told they would only sell me one. So, that was that. I told the man to go to hell, and left. People who care more about their rules and personal authority more that they do about taking care of customers shouldnt be in business.

Nice place. Bought my vegetables to plant here. They had everything I wanted. Even had their own dirt for planting. Staff was very helpful and friendly.

The customer service was excellent! The store is very clean, organized, well-lit, and well-stocked. They took me directly to the items I needed and crafted the perfect custom solution for my familys yard security needs. They were so helpful! Huttos is a gem in the Jackson community!!! Upon entering the store and when exiting, the staff were so cordial and amiable. I plan on attending their upcoming workshop!

I called ahead and told them I would be there close to closing time. I pulled into the parking lot with one minute to closing (5pm) and they were closed. I have heard they have good customer service. If they aren’t going to stay open until 5, especially when they know someone is coming, maybe they should tell them when they talk to them on the phone and let them know. Frustrating when you drive out of your way to make it there and they basically tell you sorry 2 minutes before they are scheduled to close

Huttos is a nice home and garden center. They have a decent selection and a so so look. They have survived in this spot a long time so they have things to offer but I would say they could stand to remodel in a way their building stands out more inside and out. Inside they look very old and outside they are not very visible in a way that catches your eye. They have okay customer service and prices.

The atmosphere was like being on Parole with master watching. Some plants were displayed underneath a bogo sign, very disappointing cause of course they were not... prices are doubled even tripled on some items.

Quality of potting soil has tanked. Plants are mislabeled. I chose Better Boy tomatoes but the plant grew cherry tomatoes. I have not shopped there since.

They have the best seed mixtures and fertilizers that a person could need. Been around since the beginning of time. Really sweet check out ladies that know what is what..

Closing time! Hutto’s doesn’t close at 5, they close at 4 on Saturday’s… Or when the boss feels like based on what I was told… this is for those who drive far like I did… only to be turned around at 3:57…

Hutto’s is by far the most knowledgeable place I know of when it comes to making your landscaping look wonderful. I buy all of my landscaping products here. They can answer any question you may have about weeds, fertilizers or plants.Hutto’s actually reminds me of the way stores used to be when I was a child!! Good old fashioned customer service!!!
