Absolutely LOVE this store. The most beautiful hand crafted leather and fur items around. I am always so impressed with all of the merchandise I have from hideout, I’ve had some pieces for 8 years and everything is lasting with great quality. I still get compliments on my boots and purses to this day. They also went above and beyond this year to help us get hand made leather bracelets made for our wedding party this year in my wedding. They turned out so good, thank you for everything!

We went in looking for 4 leather jackets and a purse. Two adults and two kids sizes for our family. I found a $500 bag, $700 jacket and was looking for my daughter. My daughter found one and put it on over her shirt of course because there’s no need for a dressing room for a jacket. It was her size and fit perfectly. I commented to my husband how great it fit. My son then put on a pink coat. It was exactly his size. He loves pink. We don’t care about that. Almost immediately after he put on a pink jacket, a woman appears out of nowhere and in the rudest, most startling manner says “Don’t play with the merchandise! Respect the merchandise!” My son jumped! I was in literal shock. I was standing right there and so was my husband. This was not a case of kids being unruly in a store. In fact, other customers were commenting to me about how I should buy them because they looked great. I said “Are you not allowed to try them on?” She said “they’re not for kids!” And I said “Are you serious? They fit perfectly? What does it matter?” And I kid you not she said “this is the women’s section!“ and she looked right at my son! I can’t help but wonder. My kids began to cry because of her tone and volume. We were beyond baffled. I’m still angry that she almost ruined such an amazing trip to Jackson Hole. My kids can’t stop bringing up “the mean old lady who yelled at us”. If kids aren’t allowed in then put up a sign! She already had a sign saying “no photographs” so maybe she needs to add another “rule” to the wall.I can’t tell you enough that if quaint, mountain hospitality is what you’re looking for, don’t go here! Very sad. ended up spending over a thousand dollars elsewhere in the town square.

I do a lot of shopping at the Hideout Leather in Jackson hole Wyoming. I’ve had nothing but great experience there. I bought a jacket for my son leather which, He loves it. And he doesn’t wear a jacket. I bought a Black leather vest that I absolutely adore. I get so many compliments on it. It’s the best shop there. One of my favorite shops that we only got to visit. Beautiful made leather and fur items. The worker there was friendly and answered my questions. Most items were out of my price range, but I still appreciated the quality and beauty of the items sold there.

Best clothing store in Jackson. Everything they sell is designed to last a lifetime and never go out of style. The staff is wonderful and makes the shopping experience a real treat! I have several of their coats and can’t wait to put one on and head out! Truly a great experience to shop there.

Nothing but the best of things to say about Hide Out Leathers! Ive been a fan since day one when meeting the owners and seeing how passionate they were about their products. The range of options is so unique and they do the best job of figuring out your specific style and meeting it!

Nice stuff however, there is an overweight older lady there that is a nasty person. I was helping my son try on a jacket and this woman told him to stop playing with the merchandise. When I told her we were buying it she said it wasn’t for him and we should have respect for her merchandise. My wife and I are stunned, then SHE pulls the coat off him. He’s was crying my daughter was scared. Honestly it’s ruined the trip a bit. I’ve never come across such a mean nasty person. Obviously we put away about $750 of merchandise we were going to buy and left.

The most iconic western store of all times the quality surpass any store there word can not describe it, you have to visit your self believe me . the staff is off the chain you will not regret it.i have a friend on there way to Jackson hole I told them it is a must for them to stop there tell then Chad said hi for me.

I purchased a belt in 2013 on a trip to Jackson Hole. I am still to this day wearing the same belt as I have everyday since then. It has held up great. I have now purchased a second one and once again have had a great experience with the store’s great help and customer service. Awesome handmade products for sale here. I highly recommend stopping here to anyone visiting Jackson.

Hide Out Leathers is one of the longtime stores on the square, truly a great family run store with lots of “one of a kind” western wear.

The women here are amazing, especially Jamie! They have a wonderful selection and great service! We will definitely be back.

The man working the floor was super friendly, made us feel at home as soon as we walked in. Didnt hesitate to let us try on more than a couple jackets, if youre going to buy a leather or fur piece make sure its from here.

We enjoyed our experience at the shop when we visited from out of state. I so enjoyed the special attention from the owners who gave us special words of wisdom to our young boys with us. It is special to met people who care and want to invest in people, not just rush people for the sale. Genuine people. Great product, too. I love my leather hide wristlet! Beautiful and just what I was looking for as a treasure from the vacation.

Stay away from this overpriced store selling hideous poor quality products. Today heard the salesperson bragging about their $200 belts being made by prisoners then she went on to insult those same artists and when I asked how much the artist was paid for making the belt she didn’t answer the question. Slave labor for their obscene profits.

An example of fantastic customer service. Hide Out Leathers sells some of the finest cold weather clothing anywhere. The owner said she would be happy to ship it to me and if it didnt work out I could send it back for an immediate Refund or another size. These days immediately usually means several weeks to process Not at this place!I loved the vest, but it was just too big. It would have taken significant alterations to make it fit so I sent it back in the box it was delivered in via FedEx by simply printing a free label and including a return sheet with name and order #. Period. In 2 days I had my new vest which fit beautifully. I was surprised at the efficiency and pleased. I highly recommend this store and the owner. They mean and do what they say.

Ive been traveling to Jackson for about 8 years now and I make it a point to stop here when I come. Most recently I picked up a small wallet designed for ID, cash and cards, as well as a leather satchel for work and travel. Both are beautifully designed, fairly priced and made of genuine leather. The satchel is calfskin and is gorgeous. Could not be happier with my purchases and with the customer service. I would 100% recommend this place to any local or visitor looking for some leather goods to take home with you.

Tons of great stuff! Unique variety of leather goods. The owners and staff are not only helpful, but conversational and fun to be with!! Ive had them make two custom belts for me - one leather and one ostrich. Love em both!!! Check this place out!!

If you happen to take pictures inside this admittedly cool shop and don’t notice the “Please No Photographs” sign tucked away behind a display, be prepared to be screamed at to leave the premises. Needless to say, this experience left a sour taste in the day. Power tripping over an already questionable policy is never appropriate for a tourist town business where potential customers come from many different cultural and linguistic backgrounds.

Great leather and reasonable prices!

My child and I recently stopped by this location to check out some gifts for my husband. There was a dog there who approached us upon entry (I presume it was the owner’s/employee’s as it seemed to have run of the place). I tried to kindly approach the dog and go about browsing. My daughter attempted to pet the dog and it snapped at her pretty viciously and nearly bit her. This was all witnessed by the group of people standing there (employees, possible friends of employees) and not one of them did a thing. Not an apology, not correction of the dogs behavior, nothing. Felt extremely uncomfortable and left.
