This guitar store is amazing, they have ALL KIND of guitars that otherwise you wouldnt find, I played a rosewood strat while I was there.

The staff is friendly and knowledgable. Its hard to ask a question they dont have a thorough answer to, about the instruments or music theory, and theyre so open and approachable that its not intimidating. Update - big props to JD for doing some fantastic work and understanding what I needed immediately.

Solid group of people who are competent with instrument/equipment info and passionate about helping any customers. They always have interesting and cool items coming in and out. They sell guitars, bass guitars, amps, and other equipment.

I can’t say enough about Fondren Guitars. I’ve bought 4 guitars, taken lessons from Patrick, sold 3 guitars over the years through them and just popped in to visit during lunch. They are knowledgeable, professional and good people.

Lovely place. You can clearly see their love for their instruments and care for their customers.

Local Fondren Guitar shop. They sell guitars new and used if I recall correctly and I think they offer lessons. They have good customer service and prices are competitive.

Everyone that works at this location is A1. IMO this is a much better place to spend your time than Guitar Center. Pleasure doing business with these guys

Everyone here is friendly and approachable, even for people who, like me, find conversations difficult. I come here every Wednesday for music lessons, but if I remember correctly, I was fairly comfortable the first few weeks, too.

Totally awesome guitar store with vintage acoustics and electrics and other musical instruments as well. It is a really chill place with a great selection and knowledgeable, non-pressuring store reps, like JD (who is the man).
