Folks Ive tried to buy a scooter for a month and a half and they are either closed or have more important things to do other than run a business. Apparently they only work when its convenient for them. Any suggestions where I can buy a scooter. Done with this.

I bought a brand new scooter a month ago. I took it in for service and they messed up my scooter. All of the oil leaked out and the scooter didnt drive the same. Now nobody wants to answer the phone when I call. I am completely inconvenienced. They dont have mechanics at the beach location. Last time I had an issue I called the owner. He told me he was too busy and put me on hold for over 20 minutes. If I could return my scooter and buy from a more professional company I would. They are not professional or decent. The worst experience ever. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!!! WHEN YOU NEED SERVICE THEY ARE NOT AVAILABLE OR COMPETENT!! TRUST ME, I WISH SOMEONE WOULD HAVE TOLD ME NOT TO DO BUSINESS WITH THEM!!!!

Fair warning to any would be buyers of any product from Solano Cycles of Orange Park or any of their other locations! They sell lemons and trash products and than do nothing but ignore you when you ask them to repair one of their broken UTVs, Still Under Warranty! Bought a Brand new Trailmaster UTV on June 3, it broke within 2 weeks! Wont start and sagging to one side. Solano Cycles wont honor nor return calls to help. I spent 8k and all I have is this piece of trash taking space in my garage. DO NOT BUY FROM SOLANO CYCLES!

I was so excited to get a scooter to get to work everyday. I was sold a used Sym Mio scooter 2015 and the day I came by I brought my father with me. Crystal was the lady helping us and she seemed friendly enough, we even shared a moment because she went to the same trade school as me. She had to put a new battery in the scooter and she said she would do more tests. I bought the scooter for $1006 and it ended up lasting me about 2 months until it wouldnt start. When I got it the oil light was on and she said to just reset it by pressing buttons because they did an oil change (did nothing) i am very disappointed and I feel scammed. I ended up buying all these parts and had my mechanic work on it with no success. It is currently being worked on at the orange park location. Im very sad and LYFT IS EXPENSIVE !!!!

Worst experience with a shop I have ever had. Definitely is a problem with ownership. Dropped off the bike over 1.5 years ago. It was only after getting the police involved that they reassembled my bike. I ended up having to scrap it because it was being returned to me in worse shape then when I dropped it off. Over the course of the 1.5 years I was never contacted by either orange park or Jax beach locations even after calling many many times and visiting the stores to try and figure out what happened to my bike. Also was told for months that the owner would be in contact with me which never happened. They “lost” it for a period of 5 months and I was told many different stories and lies. Apparently the bike was not worth fixing but I was never told this information. Tried to contact owner but was of no help whatsoever. First picture is how they tried to return it. Second is how it looked when dropped off. Only positive was new employee crystal who helped me at the end. She was very nice and understanding.

This place is top notch. I came in with no idea on what I was looking for and was greeted by a smart young man and woman who were very knowledgeable. They made recommendations and asked specifically what I was looking for and make the whole experience as easy and stress free as can be for someone who knows nothing about scooters or bikes. I seriously would recommended anyone who is looking for a quality scooter, gust experience, and an easy convenient place to get a new scooter I would highly recommended checking out their location right across the street from sunrise surf shop on beach Blvd. I seriously couldn’t find one bad thing about my whole experience and I left spending well over 3 grand on an amazing scooter I just drove home with. They just won over and earned themselves a loyal customer and if you give them a chance you’ll definitely leave happy and as a loyal customer to. Thank you !!!!!!!

Had a great experience with the Jacksonville Beach scooter shop. The sales staff was very helpful, informative and easy going.

Michael and Wade were very helpful from the start! The scoot coupe was very fun and speedy. We got the over night rental and it was 100% worth the money.

I just bought a Kymco 2018 (new leftover) Like 150i with ABS from the Solano Jacksonville Beach store, it was a very good experience. Aside from the great price (excellent deals right now, maybe they are clearing out stock to make room for new 2020 models?), the manager Chrystal was very professional, helpful, patient, knowledgeable, polite, and honest.Having had unpleasant experiences whilst shopping for a new scooter at local motorcycle stores (they wanted to add on $600 for nothing really) I had my guard up at Solano. But lo and behold the pricing was understandable and honest. I got the bike out the door with a very nice 3/4 helmet for just over $3,000. By the way, look into VyStar for a bike loan, mine was no money down, 36 months at 7.99%.Im very happy with my purchase, I will be going back to the store in a few weeks to pick up my permanent license plate and to get the initial service. Solano has met and exceeded my expectations of the buying and customer-relationship experience. And no, they did not pay me to write this review as people sometimes think!

We were given such a run-a-round with the regards of pricing. We immediately sent them a cash amount for the written quote that was given us. Got a phone call the next day, needed more money ($300). We said ok will pay when we pick it up. Got another phone call the next day, needed $900 more due to inadequacy of person handling the deal. I finally said.... NO!!! Cancel this whole deal and refund me my money!!! Which the owner graciously did. I purchased a better 2021 UTV SXS for $1100 less. I am now glad the deal faltered the way it did! I feel this place should have honored our written quote, it was not our fault that the employee was an air head?

I have been dealing with Solano for a year now. I bought a scooter elsewhere that promptly went out of business. Ive had nothing but problems with it ever since. Thank goodness for Chrystal! She consistently goes over and beyond to help me get back on the road. I highly recommend them for all your scooter needs!!Lori E

Crystal helped me get into a Pre-owned 2017 Buddy within days of my first visit and request, and Holden helped get the bike dialed in and styled out. I could not be more pleased with my experience!

Worst experience Ive ever had through any motorcycle dealership car dealership or any retail dealer. Staff are rude will lie to you after they make the sale thats it. No way to contact ownership even the managers of all four locations will state that they dont even know how to contact. Worst experience Ive ever had with any type of business. They will even curse you out hang up if you call with a problem. People, I promise you you cannot even fathom of walking into a business that operates of this matter especially after youve bought a product from them. So therefore be warned by a real customer that has purchased a product within the last 30 days dont believe the good reviews that are written by employees and friends that are not verified customers. This review goes out to every one of solanos locations not just one the only way I could straighten out my problem was dealing with the manufacturer themselves across seas. My product was a kymco product which is a wonderful and great product be aware of who you buy it from kimco themself and the United States distribution are investigating of my matter. Suggest call kimco USA South Carolina thats the distribution center for the product theyre very nice people and they stand behind and try to help out the consumer who bought their product find another dealership other than Solano and you will save yourself lots of problems and have a good product.

Dont go there. People are rude liers. Sold my daughter a used scooter as brand new. Confront all locations about issue. Cannot contact ownership.They have blocked our calls. for us just trying to figure out what is going on. Trust us difinitely spend time to find a reputable dealer for kymco or other manufactors. Even though Honda and Yamaha shops dont keep Kymco in stock we have figured out most of them are authorized distributer they can have it shipped to store within a week then you will have good quality service from seller other than spending time in court to fix a matter

We went to the one in Jax Beach. Decent inventory and friendly staff. The woman ( sorry, I forgot her name) was pleasant and helpful. We ended up buying a Kymco. They couldnt have it ready right away as it was later in the day so picking it up Tuesday. No complaints from us and we can complain, just check Yelp. I did mention to the younger gentleman working about how slammed they were on Yelp and mentioned maybe address it. It definitely made us think about even stopping at this location.

The people there are really nice

One of the most unprofessional, most ridiculous experiences I have ever been a part of. A scooter that I originally purchased from Solano Cycle was dropped off at their store for repair and after 9 weeks I still cannot get a status up on when it might be fixed. Cindy from the Orange Park store is unable and unwilling to help customers. The owner, Marcus Solano, has cursed at me and used the F word when Im asking for an update. Take your business elsewhere and do not shop at Solano Cycle.

I came here to get a Scooter that I have repaired and the woman at the front desk was very helpful and answered all my questions. The mechanic who was on duty did a Great Job my scooter worked perfectly! I really recommend this place if you need any Scooter repairs or help to purchase a new scooter.

Holton in the parts department helped me source a rear axle for my scooter which I had been trying to find months and had even ordered one myself which had turned out to be incorrect. He continuously stayed in contact with me until we found what finally looks like the right part. Service like this is rare, as I have had other shops tell me to find it online myself, which I was struggling to do! Huge thanks to Holton and the crew over at Solano Cycle.

Weve been forced to use this scooter shop for years believing it was the only one in town. We try to get our scooters to the Solano in St. Augustine as they are a bit better. Two different scooters over the years, weve learned their process. Drop it off, they say they will call you, you hear nothing so you call them a few days later. Then they get angry and tell you theyve got all this work to do and they cannot get to your bike for a week or two. By the time you figure this out, a whole week has passed and you still dont know what the problem is. If you pretend that you may buy a new scooter, you will probably get better repair service.Last time we went, they said the Scooter had an engine problem and was probably done, nothing they could do unless we wanted to fork over big bucks. This scooter didnt have that many miles on it and was relatively in good shape. We were ready to give it away for salvage when a knowledgeable mechanic told us it was the fuel pump. Go figure its been sitting in a garage for a good six months with us believing it was a goner.

Waste of my time. I dropped my scooter off and was told I would be given a call on the progress. I had to call them and they told me they would call me back later. The guy did not call me back and ignored me. Guys name was Rick I believe. I show up at the end of day and they never touched the scooter. All I needed were 2 stripped bolts replaced. Tech said it would take to long and referred to another shop. I had it there at 10am. Scooter shop across the street fixed the problem in 20 minutes and stayed late to help me out.

The Jacksonville Giants love working with Solano Cycle. Their ATVs look great and work great. Their staff is also super friendly and easy to work with. We look forward to working with them again in the future.

They will keep your scooter forever just to fix the most simple thing. They only have one mechanic and he has to stop working to do other stuff and then get back to fixing scooters. Customer service does not update you or let you know how the progress is going. They also will not let you speak to the mechanic so he can tell you whats going on.

Their customer service is a dog & pony show. Great first impression, but when your scooter needs anything done (less than a year after purchase) they are almost impossible to get a hold of and take weeks for a simple repair.

The woman here was nice and worked with me on scheduling a repair. Lets hope the repair bill is Not Too Much

DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!!! Dont believe the 5 star ratings on here!! They give you free stuff if you do.. so most of the reviews are BS!!! They dont even deserve 1 star! I bought a 2016 kymco scooter brand new! Within 2 days it had problems starting. Then the speedometer and Odometer stopped working. My scooter has been in the shop for 2 weeks now. No one has called me to inform me whats going on... nor do I even want the thing anymore because its already breaking down?? Now they are telling me to sell it after they fix it... so I am going to have to disclose that the odometer broke for approx 150 miles... great so my money is wasted!!! I have never been this pissed!!

Worst service Ive experienced from anyone outside of Comcast. A couple years I brought in a scooter for what I was told would be a quick repair - a month later and its not fixed, and they jury rig a welding they couldve done weeks ago. I complain. No f---s given you could go elsewhere is a paraphrase of their response.

I had a great purchase experience at Solano Cycle in Jax Beach. Margaret was great. I was in an out with my new scooter in about an hour.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I bought 3 for wheelers and a side by side from them. Upon delivery all were damaged I was guaranteed repairs that was in November 2017. After months of battling and arguing they came in May picked them up as at this point all the rust that was on their from delivery and I do have pictures time stamped had gotten worse. The company decides to just spray paint over the damaged areas and the rust disnt fix starting issues or transmission issues. Upon 2nd delivery I refused delivery due to spray paint all over them, a broken headlight, missing parts. The driver wouldnt leave I told him leave or leave with cops. The owner called cops said his driver was in fear but the driver told the cops he wasnt and the truth. So they sent me a company letter said all my stuff would be left outside in their junk pile til I take them. I hired a lawyer they refuse to answer the demand letter so this week my lawyer is going to a full blown lawsuit. Every review I do they try to lie but anyone of you want to contact me Ill share all pictures, text messages, and the letter he sent threatening me. I have all evidence. BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY!!!

The Jacksonville Beach Branch has the absolute worst customer service. I was told when I spent $1,500 on my moped that I would be “taken care of”. That has been the furthest thing from the truth.I paid over $200 for repairs to my bike in october nad the next day it wouldn’t start.When I brought it back there I was told that they didn’t have all the parts to fix it originally and that I needed to spend another $150 to get the correct parts. I don’t understand why they wouldn’t have just told me that when I went to lick it up.Fast forward to today- the special parts are in and I went to drop it off for repair. They lady behind the counter refused me service..Huh???This place is a joke. If there was anywhere else in Jx beach to service my moped I would be there.Avoid at all costs..You have been warned!

AWEFUL! I walk in to get a 50cc oil change done on my scooter. I ask how much? The guy looks around and says $65.00. I chuckled because I though he was joking. Asked are you serious 2 more times and he said yeah the oil and 30 minutes of labor. In perspective, I go to Lexus to get my car serviced for $80. My jaw is still on the ground with your pricing. Almost had a repeat customer but I will stay FARRR from you guys! I leave and go to the scooter shop and they Carl says $18 bucks!Solano Cycle are here to hose you. I recommend you go somewhere else!

So my opinions on this location have changed drastically in the past year. I bought my bike from them December of last year and Jimmy and Amanda are amazing, but the store has gone totally downhill since then. The new help they have there needs to be fired. I cant get answers to simple questions over the phone, nobody ever returns my call, and the last time I went in the store the girl behind the counter was so busy chatting up a personal friend that I stood at the counter for 5 MINUTES and wasnt even acknowledged. Then when I finally spoke up to ask to look at a container of carburetor jets (that all appear to be used by the way) I received a disgusted look accompanied by an equally rude response. Its a shame this is the only Kymco dealerin the area. I will avoid this store passionately from now on.

Waste of time . Stay away if you are a newbie they will take advantage of you . Does bare minimum of what you ask and when they get your money won’t even help you load up your bike . Good riddance You’ve been warned !

I WOULD NOT suggest this place to anyone! You take in something to be fixed and have ONE part changed out, and they keep it for weeks, giving nothing but excuses. This place lacks professionalism. You have to keep calling them to get them to do anything. Horrible company!

Absolutely amazing service today! I went in and they had exactly what my husband and I wanted and their prices are right on point! I dont usually write a review unless I am upset with something but the knowledgeable and courteous staff compelled me to share my experience! Dont base your opinions on one or two bad experiences because we have been to more than 5 other stores and the people there were either completely rude or had no idea what they were doing. Kindness goes a long way people! Treat others how you wish to be treated instead of acting like a spoiled and selfish individual which we had to witness in the store today by another person making a purchase but the manager handled the situation with calm collectiveness that only comes from knowing how to treat a customer!

Charmaine was FANTASTIC with educating me on each different bike and did not pressure me towards a sale and was very accommodating with what I wanted/Needed. Don and DeAndre were fantastic and perfectionist with helping me derestrict the bike to make sure I got the best performance . I will deffitenly be buy a bike for my wife here and recommend to everyone

Purchased my first scooter here and had a generally good experience. sales wasnt impressive, but not terrible. i had a general idea of what i wanted and she was able to assist accordingly. most of my questions were answered satisfactorily.since, ive had to bring in the scooter for repair or maintenance a few times. the first, a faulty gas cap, they took care of at no cost to me. other instances were unrelated to craftsmanship. the service technician has been amazing, going into great detail before any work and answering ALL my questions in full.i would not hesitate to purchase here again or recommend another. i would say do your own homework and have a firm idea of what you are looking for in a scooter. while the salesperson was not as knowledgeable as id like, they were competent enough and not pushy. but then id much prefer less pushy at the expense of doing my own homework. others mileage may vary.

I own a 2013, Kymco Agility 50cc. The flip up second seat allows you to make very useful the metal luggage rack. I places 2 foot by 1 foot plywood and a 14 gallon plastic cement mixing tray on it. Added winged rails and two Colors of paint to the plywood. Used brass nails. Recommend focusing on luggage upgradable usage, so if not a fold up seat, jump to the Kymco Like 200. Or one of the other Brands sold at Solano. My 50cc 2013, broke down and had to have the cylinder amd housing replaced at about 10,000 miles. This is not uncommon to rebuild at this magical 15,000KM distance, even if not a majority is not uncommon. ~ i am told it is because of doing 43MPH all the time. Those who do governed 35MPH on 50cc do not have this break down and replace issue. Less than 1/3 the price of a 155cc Yamaha S-Max. So still a good value. Kymco Like 200, if buying any new model, would be a smarter choice. I just got a 1 owner 50cc from them at a fair market value.

The manager/operator had no technician or technical knowledge. He could not tell me if they carried a 12 or 24 V 3-amp max Three Prong charger. Out of five questions none were answered. He WANTED to help and tried, but could not.

This place is an utter joke for a scooter shop. Counter person has absolutely no technical or sales skill. Managed to alienate a customer that could potentially spend thousands there. Service tech is a clueless high school drop out. Avoid this place... hack central.To update, these idiots completely seized up an engine on my wifes scooter. Then when they realized who my wife was then they copped an attitude & pushed the scooter out to the parking lot & threw the removed panels in a box. They told her to GET LOST.
