My first experience with Seaside Ballroom was as a student years ago prior to becoming an instructor with them. From a students perspective I have nothing but positive things to say about them. I feel that Tony and Elise are passionate about ballroom as a whole. They give their all investing their heart and soul to research and train in technique and styling to be able to give their students the best. Everyone there is getting top notch dance education there. When I first came there I was having issues with my memory due to health reasons and Tony was very patient and I was able to progress through it. Everyone is pushed past because the instructors fully believe in each individual no matter the level. Many of the students are great dancers or will become great. From my experience of teaching there I have nothing negative to say either. I loved my time there. Seaside ensures that their dance instructors are well-equipped to teach their students. Seaside treats each-other like family. Everyone is always friendly. We all shared the common interest and love of dance. Highly recommend.

I have known Tony for many years and he is the most gracious person you would ever want to meet. His talent and creativeness are off the charts. He is an extremely kind and engaging person. His passion for ballroom dance is limitless and every single time Tony and Elise dance it is absolutely mesmerizing. Tony is one of the most giving persons you will ever meet and so much fun. He is a man of true character and it shows most especially in his devotion to his wife and daughter, and in his passion and love for teaching and performing ballroom dance.

Tony and Elise are excellent instructors.They would never be anything less then professional.I have known them for over 10 yrs. Tony trained my daughter as a teenager always professional and never ever did we pay and not receive lessons.In addition to training my daughter to compete in competitions; Tony went on to train her to become a instructor which has been a huge benefit. I would totally go with the masses on their reviews here.I would venture to say they are a 10 ⭐️ rated business but since the highest rating here is a 5 ⭐️ That means they rank superior.

I came to this studio with absolutely zero experience. All of the instructors that I have had, including the owner Tony, have been amazing! Each one has partnered to demonstrate different techniques to help me learn and grow in dance. I never thought that I could learn as much as I have. This studio is geared towards helping the beginner as well as the experienced. I highly recommend them to anyone!

The 3 instructors we’ve met so far are all experienced dancers, but also talented teachers. They have each explained how to dance to us novices in an easy-to-understand and encouraging way. Can’t believe my husband seems to enjoy it too!I look forward to when Seaside Ballroom allows us to schedule online instead of calling. But for now, we are really enjoying ourselves.

Tony is a great instructor. My girlfriend has been taking lessons here for a while, but when I started taking lessons it was actually surprisingly fun. There are multiple classes going on at a time so she and I can do different things. We also take lessons together. We are currently working towards a special wedding dance. Im happy my girlfriend introduced me to seaside ballroom and dancing!

Tony and Elise are Amazing dancers, teachers and Choreographers. My wife and I have worked with Tony for years on various aspects of our dancing from basic routines and technique to competition and show dance events. We have traveled to Jacksonville from North Carolina numerous times just to work with them. Beautiful studio, outstanding technique and teaching. A+

NOT BEGINNER FRIENDLY.After weeks of random dances and steps being thrown at us and pressure to come to classes with others for even more steps, we were hit up for more money and commitment, with the promise we would “really learn” if we signed up.More of a hangout and club for people who already know how to dance to hang out and have fun with each other. Maybe if we already knew how to dance we would have enjoyed it better.

I owe my success in ballroom dancing to Tony. Not only did he teach me everything I know but he and Elise were my inspiration. They are the most beautiful and accomplished dancers to watch as well as genuine caring people. This is a top notch studio. 10/10 would recommend to anyone

It appears that our small business owned and operated studio has a cyber bully, giving us 1-star reviews, from multiple fake accounts. We have built our business up in the past 6 years with sweat, love, honesty and in turn we have a great community of students who share our love of dance, fitness and learning. Our instructors are knowledgeable and warm.It’s frustrating that a cyber bully would give one star reviews on a facility that they have never stepped foot in. We hope that you find peace and closure in whatever it is that you are so spiteful about and would appreciate it if you left us alone. If these fake reviews persist authorities will be contacted as I have a strong suspicion as to who this is.

Seaside Ballroom is an amazing place if you have a passion/want/need to dance. The owners Tony and Elise are so welcoming. They make the experience so fun and inspirational! Tony and Elise are two of the most wonderful dancers I’ve met but more importantly, lovely people to know and work with. They have an incredible passion for dance, a great ability to teach their students, and an authentic caring for the people who walk through their door. I highly recommend lessons with them and their staff. The exercise classes they offer are above and beyond anything I’ve known.

I started ballroom dancing close to 4 years ago with Tony and Elise. I had never done dancing of any kind in my life. Never considered myself graceful. What I didnt know is what confidence I would build in myself and the family and friends I would gain here at Seaside. I could tell you they are wonderful dancers... wonderful teachers....but they are wonderful people first and foremost. My boyfriend even loves coming. Im truly lucky to have found my Seaside Ballroom Family.

I paid a fairly large sum of money for lessons that, due to the fact the studio is closed indefinitely, I have not been able to take. I emailed the owner, Tony, and asked about a refund and he told me that refunds are not being given at this time. The studio is doing classes on Facebook and he said those count.On Monday, another charge was made to my credit card by Seaside Ballroom. When I emailed and asked why, I was told by Tony that I hadn’t requested to cancel. I asked if he could refund that payment and he said no, the studio is not offering refunds, but I could request to cancel moving forward. Unbelievable!Some small businesses work for the good of the community during tough times. Seaside ballroom takes advantage of its community. So wrong and I am furious!No one make the mistake I did and give this business or Tony Kantin your money.

A few times in my life I had the fortune of recognizing a great teacher when I saw her or him! Those are the crossroads in life when you do a course correction and everything changes ! This happened with my first encounter with Tony and Elise - Yes, you learn how to dance - but if you are open to it it will take you far beyond steps on the dance floor - and on top of it it is super fun ! You simply have not lived if you have not ballroom danced :)

Love Tony and Elise! They do such a great job teaching ballroom dancing and making it fun. I would highly recommend going there if you need lessons for a wedding or if you wanted individual lessons. I started lessons there 4.5 years ago and was initially apprehensive but then totally fell in love with dancing.

I’ve had the most pleasant experience working with Tony.. not only is he knowledgeable but he really makes you feel like it’s not as hard as it looks! The studio’s ambience is inviting and I’ve learned so many different styles of dancing.I look forward to going back and have so much fun!

Been trying for two weeks to buy a gift certificate for my girl for Christmas. Never any answer and nobody ever called me back. Walked in today to purchase in the price was much higher than advertised. I even said I saw their promotion! The guy told me that price was wrong and I could pay what he was telling me or nothing.It’s the season to be greedy at Seaside Ballroom! Take your business elsewhere.

I have known tony for a longtime!!!! Never met a guy with so much drive and passion one of my favorites in the ballroom world.

Tony is one of the nicest guys I’ve met and he made it a lot of fun to learn! All of the instructors are super easy-going and make you feel welcome and comfortable.

I went to class with no experience in dance. The instructors here really break down the steps to make it easy to learn and after one class I’m able to do the waltz and the chacha. I also recommend the stretch class you will feel amazing! I also really like the Zumba class with Tony the dance moves are hip hop and you look cool doing it not the typical workout Zumba at a gym I highly recommend this class!

Not a horrible experience, but definitely not worth the price. Lessons were confusing and could never get ahold of anyone or get anyone to call me back. Not at all what I was expecting from website. Save yourself the time and go to YouTube for some videos.

Awkward and unprofessional atmosphere. We didn’t even finish the lessons we paid for. Thought it would be fun and elegant and exciting - we were wrong!

Great, fun experience! Even if you are a beginning dancer, the instructors are super patient. We thought that sarting to learn ballroom dancing would take us too far out of our comfort zone, but the instructors made us feel extremely comfortable. We learned so much with our first set of classes and had so much fun that we will be signing up for additional classes. I highly reccomend! Tony is the best!
