HearingLife provides excellent customer service! The receptionist was very polite and cordial.Megan the audiologist was very knowledgeable, thorough, and explained in detail how to use and maintain the hearing aid. Thank you for a great customer experience!
Excellent customer service with back office staff. The audiologist was extremely helpful, very understanding and provided a lot of great info specially for a first time visit for me it was extremely helpful. I would recommend Hearing Life to anyone who is seeking hearing care.
Very thorough exam- - Instead of just ordering new hearing aids, asked me to get exam first with ear specialist.
Dr. Beattie is wonderful. She explains all the options and is thorough when teaching how to use and insert the hearing aids into the ear. Her office staff is very pleasant and they work well as a team. I liked that she followed up with a phone call to check on my husband and how he was adjusting to wearing the devices. Nice touch!
Hearing Life is the successor of Gilliom Audiology. It carries on the tradition of great service. Strongest possible recommendation from me!
Great service & Great peopleThis visit was sort of “uncharted waters”for me, having never been to an audiologist before. I did know that I had a problem and needed help. The important facts that you need to know are thatDr. Beattie is obviously highly qualified. She listens (no pun intended) and asks obviously relevant questions.I never felt hurried and, at the end of my appointment I felt I had a full understanding of my hearing situation. As such, I really can’t recommend Dr Beattie, and her staff, highly enough. Like I said above, great people and great service.
The doctor and front office personnel were very nice and helpful!
It was a friendly environment and very professional, also the doctor was great
Great people....Jmproved my hearing....Adjustments included...I would recommend strongly!
The entire staff is friendly and professional! Dr Beattie is very thorough and a pleasure!
Wonderful people, great service. A++ experience.
Wonderful place and people! Dr. Gilliom is so nice, patient, and knowledgeable. And her receptionist is terrific, too. And she could give lessons to almost every receptionist around on how to talk on the telephone. They all dont speak legible, or they talk too fast, or not loud enough or all three. 🎶
Great experience
They are great to work with. They always take me in on time and listen to what my issue is.
Caring and thorough service. She is patient and spent as much time as needed to make sure I was well informed and at ease using my new hearing aids. Dr Gilliom easily shares her expert knowledge of hearing loss. Really, the only place to go for audiology.
Great people. Great service.
She is a Ph.D. highly educated in the field, kind and trustworthy from the experience for nearly last two years. The cost for this hearing aid best in the world is fair and affordable. I believed that I have made aright decision in dealing with her.
Dr. Gilliom and the staff at Gilliom Audiology are fantastic! I had a wonderful experience. Dr. Gilliom is extremely knowledgeable and caring. I wasnt looking forward to this process, but they made it very easy and I absolutely love hearing!
In the winter months I go to Gilliom at the Beaches. Theyre staffed with doctors, not hearing technicians. I find I get a higher level of medical care and better hearing results. The doctors are good and the rest of their staff is accommodating and attentive.
When down south I go to Gilliom to have my hearing aid repaired and adjusted. Dr. Gilliom is very experienced and helpful and her staff is fantastic. Thumbs up!!
So much help! Very kind and understanding, I havent encountered as much patience, compassion and encouragement in a medical setting ever.
Professional and courteous with state of the art instruments!
They are always helpful, clearly caring and take the time to explain things to you.
If you have hearing issues and want PROFESSIONAL help, this is the place youll get it. Ive been under the care of Dr. Gilliom for over 3 years and cant say enough positive things. She and her staff DO care, and it shows. Dr. Gilliom isnt just there to sell you hearing aids --- her goal is to help you hear better. And theres a big difference. They do have a beach office ... thats where I go.
My wife, Sue, also sees Dr. Gilliom for her hearing loss and she wanted to share her feelings.Gilliom Audiology was recommended to me by my daughter. Several of her friends had been very happy with their experiences with the office. I called and made an appointment at the beach location. My personal experience could not have been better. My main purpose was to finally get my first set of hearing aids, but I also have my ears cleaned each year due to buildup of very dry skin. Anyone who has ever had their ears cleaned for whatever reason knows it can be excruciating, and in fact, was very painful at an ENT office I went to last year when my husband and I first moved to the area. However, in Dr. Gilliom’s hands, this procedure was so pain free that I couldn’t believe it when it was over. That alone, would have me coming back forever. Now for the hearing aid part…….Apparently, my fitting was far from run-of-the-mill because I have extremely tiny ear canals. However, through Dr. Gilliom’s expertise and knowledge of all the possible aids on the market and their shapes and sizes, we found exactly what would work for me and provide the best possible outcome. I am not sure anyone else could have fitted me as well. She did not let me out of the office until she was certain, I could insert and remove the aids without issue. She is friendly, patient, and never rushes you out of the office until she feels that absolutely everything has been done to her satisfaction and yours. I also want to add that I had several hearing tests done prior to the one given to me at Dr. Gilliom’s office. None of the other tests were anywhere as in depth as those given to me in her office. The tests prior to this one were simple affairs of pushing a button whenever a sound is identified. However, at Gilliom Audiology, you will be performing tests under real life conditions such as identifying sounds and repeating sentences played while conversations take place in the background, etc. These nuances give her a very good idea of exactly how to tune the aids, which again, was done in a way I had never seen before. This was such a good experience, that my husband who had been wearing hearing aids for 4 or 5 years, decided to have Dr. Gilliom “adopt” him as a patient and move to better hearing aids. From the moment I walked out of the office, I was in love with my hearing aids. It is so nice not to struggle with hearing friends and family, listening to lectures, watching TV. There is no downside. I actually did not have much of an adjustment period. The louder sounds become normal very quickly and of course, putting them in and taking them out becomes a piece of cake very quickly as well.I feel grateful for the recommendation I received from my daughter. As I stated, I have been to other audiologists over the last ten years for testing, just to get an idea of where my hearing was. So I know what other offices are like and what they do. I knew last year, that the time was right to invest in hearing aids, and I feel like I hit the jackpot. In every return visit to check on how I was doing, it was every bit as professional. Although this has nothing to do with her skill at fitting hearing aids, it doesn’t hurt that Dr. Gilliom has a great personality. Also, office staff is a client’s first contact with any doctor’s office. The staff sets a first impression. I want to give a big shout out to the nicest office staff person, Chandra, who is both helpful and incredibly nice whether on the phone or in person.
