Culligan always delivers quality products and service. We have both the water softener and the reverse osmosis system(s). Bart came out last week and once again did a stellar job. I love that when I call with questions or need someone to come to the house to check out the products we use for our home water, there is never a problem or question about getting someone to come out. They always explain everything they are doing and just really make you feel important the way they are very prompt getting to you. I would highly suggest any and everyone to use Culligan water!!
Highly recommend Culligan! When I called to have someone come out to my house they were able to schedule it within 2 days. The salesman (Rob) was very professional and the technician that installed the softener was on time and after everything was done he showed me how it worked. Great company and great customer service.
Recently purchased Culligan system, lots of $$$! But today, my investment was made worthwhile in my first maintenance check by Bart. He was so incredibly knowledgeable. He was very professional and made me feel really happy that I made this purchase. Bart is an excellent representative for CulliganJacksonville. If you’re considering any other water softener company, don’t. There’s a reason Culligan is the best in the business. And they proved it to me today.

I called to cancel the Culligan service at my mothers house but they keep charging my card claiming her equipment of more than 20 years is a rental. Ive asked them repeatedly for a copy of the signed rental contract and they wont provide it. I have checked all of her invoices as far back is 2010 and none of her invoices say that its for rental equipment. My mother has dementia and Im beginning to think they take advantage of older people. The owner of the company said that hes had people paying $40 a month for 40 years and its not a scam. Sounds like a scam to me. You can buy water softening systems in other places for thousands less.Edit: after asking for 2 months they finally sent me a copy of the rental agreement but not before the owner of the company was extremely rude to me. And got another $80 out of us from autopay. Do yourselves a favor pay a plumber up front $1,000 for a good water softening system you can buy the salt very cheap at Home Depot and its easy to put in. Its what I just did on my new house and it will save me thousands of dollars in the future.

I have had Culligan of Jacksonville since 2010. They have the best service coordinator, Heather, who is responsible for managing the scheduling of salt delivery. They always call before they come to give us a heads up as to when they will be here and ask how much salt we need. Their General Manager, Kris, has a heart of gold and is always available to help in any way he can. I have nothing negative to say about any aspect of this company and would highly recommend them. They are very reasonable with their pricing all the way around.
Was having issues with my equipment and called the office to get an appointment set up to have someone come look at it. The lady in the office was quite pleasant and the sent Chris to come look at it. He was quick, kind, and had me running again without any hassle. Extremely pleased with the service.

13 years and going strong. After 12 years, they were able to redo the resin in our water softener; Reverse Osmosis still working well. Tech Jay is quick to respond, easy to understand, knowledgeable, and trustworthy. He came back out and did a minor repair with no house call fee. Definitely recommend their products and services.
I never thought I would say this about Culligan - but my service call by Neil was A+...When I realized I was having an issue with my softener and I knew I had to call for service, I actually called a different Culligan location because I have had very poor service in the past. I was referred back to my original location and a service call was assigned to Neil. My lucky day!! He was on time, professional, KNOWLEDGEABLE, courteous...did I mention that he was knowledgeable? It didnt take him long to figure out the problem and fix it. Period. I am so thankful that I dont have to dread calling the for service anymore. Also, the office has improved. Very nice and friendly. I was able to get an appointment the next day. So Culligan - whatever you have done to get it together....WELL DONE!!
My old drinking water station had seen better days. After 15 years it was time to upgrade. The techs that came out where nice and gave me a couple of options. They were able to come out the next day to install the equipment and Chris was our installer. He was done within 40 minutes and couldn’t have been more happy with the experience. Thank you!
Neil, our technician, was very knowledgeable and made sure our softener unit was working properly after needing a part that went out after 3 years. Chris, the GM, even called to make sure we were satisfied after a miscommunication happened with their scheduling person. When the tech and GM work together to assure customer satisfaction, I couldn’t give anything less than 5 stars.

Called for service at my home, the tech Neal Martin, showed up on time, was well trained in his field, took his time explaining the issue to me and proceeded to solve it. If you dont have Culligan you should consider using them, and if you need service, request Neal, youll be glad you did.

Culligan set up my water softener and filtration unit in about two and a half hours. The technician, Jay, walked through the steps with us throughout the process and then taught us how to use the system after the install was complete. Jay was very helpful and the job he did was beautiful. The area manager Sergio helped my father with determining what the house needed and visited the house and provided an estimate promptly. The whole experience was great.

The experience I had with Culligan was amazing......Randy (salesman) was very knowledge, explained every part of a water softener system. He was nice and polite. Instead of pushing us to buy he allowed us to weight our options which made us feel good. We looked into other systems and the price, warranty and company overall were not as good the Culligan Systems. I would recommend everyone buy from Culligan and Randy.

My service by Jay was Great, he fixed my issue with the bypass and also found that the Seal Piston had to be replaced. He provided great service for me. I would give him a 10 out of 10.
First, I have to say, reading some of the reviews is exactly how I felt, until now. Yes, Joel was a salesperson who would say anything for a sale and have you sign for things he 1) never explained to you and 2) lied about. Needless to say, he is no longer with the company. With that said, my softener stopped working and cost me $100 more in my water bill due to the softener continuously running for a month. I never knew there was a problem until going out there one day and hearing it keep going and never stop. By that time it was too late. I could not get the help I wanted from the service representative (she would not listen to me). After contacting Mike P through an email explaining the entire situation of how I even got the softener, he COMPLETELY heard me out and listened to me as a valued customer. He heard my complaint and responded with what I needed in order for my faith to be restored in Culligan. I finally felt HEARD and not just brushed off as another upset customer. It was refreshing to get that phone call from him and him tell me that he was going to help me in the way that I needed. HE absolutely needs to be and stay in management because he does CARE. The tech they sent out, Gabe, was AMAZING and a breath of fresh air. He was super friendly, helpful, and knew exactly what he was doing and talking about, and answered every question I had. Thank you Culliagn for helping me to put my faith back into your company.
We replaced our 10 year old reverse osmosis culligan system with Neil being our technician.... the difference in our drinking & cooking water over the past 10 years has been amazing,so when our system gave out Neil was our guy! Knowledgeable,showed us our options as far as fixing our existing system versus replacing with a new one ! He went out of his way to accommodate us in a quick & efficient manner! Our new system was installed within 24 hours ... once you’ve been “ spoiled” with having excellent drinking water at your fingertips it was important to not have to wait for replacement!
I had the greatest experience with The Culligan men.. yes I said Men! It started with Sergio who came to my house twice to talk to me cause I still had more questions super helpful and friendly! then the next day # Culligan Men showed up to install my twin softener. Derek, Robert, and A.J. they were super friendly made sure that all was great and even went out of the way to bury every thing. very polite and prompt can not wait to tell my friends about it! totally going to take a second shower today with my wonderful new water system!!!!

I bought a brand new HE softener from Culligan about 6 months ago for my horrible well water. I LOVE it. I did the financing plan with no problems and no penalties when I paid it off early. The best thing I have seen from this system isnt just the effectiveness of my water quality but my shampoo and laundry detergent I had been using has cut in half. That alone is worth the money spent. I would recommend my softener and this company to anyone, and have since my purchase.
I own small appliance repair company here in town, and have used and recommended Culligan for years. After having a slight issue with the system in my personal home, I contacted Culligan, and was put in touch with 2 of the most capable employees within the company. Tim and Nick. Service Manager and Sales Manager respectively I believe. They listened, were truly concerned about the issue, and went above and beyond any reasonable expectations I had to solve the issue. They told me what they would do, when they would do it, showed up and did it. Exactly the way business should be done. Young men who kept their word, and performed their jobs with integrity and honesty. Id give them 5 extra stars if possible. And if you want your appliances to last longer, call Culligan.

I purchased a water system a few months ago. When I had a sprinkler system installed, I found out that Culligan plumbed the inside and outside of my house for soft water; no wonder my plants are dying! I called Culligan and they sent a tech out to confirm that all the inside and outside faucets are soft. I have had soft water before and have never heard of plumbing the whole house for soft water. I called Culligan a number of times and they said they would communicate with the Area Manager and get back to me. They never did. I persisted calling them and they sent Mike who said he has worked for them for 15 years and in Jacksonville, the inside and outside of the house a re always plumbed for soft water.SO JACKSONVILLE CULLIGAN CUSTOMERS, ARE YOU WATERING YOUR PLANTS AND WASHING YOUR CAR WITH EXPENSIVE SOFTENED WATER?The company will not do anything to change this so I need your help. This is not right. I want my house plumbed to have soft water only on the inside of my house like the rest of the country. Will you help me?Get your water checked and help me make this company do the right thing.Thank you.Debbie P.
Bart from Culligan Jacksonville is a very professional technician. He arrived did his troubleshooting and repaired my system lickity split!!! He was very knowledgeable about everything with that softener system i mean everything....! Give that man a bonus! There aint many old school technicians around like that anymore!!!
I am completely satisfied with the service and professionalism provided by Culligan I have been a customer starting in 1977 in WV and in MD, now in Jax, Fl.
We purchased a water softener from Culligan in December, 2014 for$5,000.00 and paid it off within the first year. They only warranty the unit for 1 year and after that certain parts for 5-10 years. Our current issue is we very little water pressure in the morning. I just called Culligan only to find out a service fee will cost $114.00 for the first hour. It is my humble opinion to not waste your time or money with this company. Buy your unit out right from any Lowes or Home Depot and forget about the added fees. They charge too much for the product such as salt or the rid dust when it can simply be purchased @ Home Depot or the grocery store. They will try to sell you that there product is so great and this is just my opinion. Please shop around find the best deal possible before committing to Culligan. ( 1 star is being nice )
Poor service, inexperienced technicians, incompetent management. Equipment is way over priced for what they have to offer. Trust me when I say this is one of the worst options in Jacksonville
I called Culligan to come and service my water filter. They came out, and told me they could not service another brands machine (they did not mention this fact to me when I made the booking). Then they have the cheek to send me a bill for the service, which obviously I refused to pay. Then months later I get a call threatening me with debt collection - good luck with that Culligan!
I have been a customer for the last 8 years. The folks at the Jax Culligan office have always been super local nice....delivery guys, installers, techs, admin and GM. Totally worth the money we have spent. To top things off, recently we had an accident where our softener was detroyed (crashed and shattered). Because of my tenure as a customer (dont think this is in the contract), the GM had his guys come out the next day and replace/replumb my system for free. OUTSTANDING!!! Having had well water for years, I was tired and was interested in getting a water softener system installed. A Culligan commercial came on at the right time and I decided to give them a call. They sent Randy out immediately and he came and ran the necessary test to show the quality of water that I had and where it should be. We then determined that we would like to proceed with the installation and he made sure that everything was set up and scheduled to be installed. After installation he came out again to make sure that we were pleased with everything and we were happy. Randy made the entire process easy and I would recommend him and Culligan to anyone looking to purchase a water softener system. Thanks for everything.
HORRIBLE...DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I had an err1 code blinking on a $2500.00 unit. I called Culligan and asked what I should do. They advised they needed to schedule a service call. That was almost a 2 week wait. The guy shows up, tells me You need to unplug the unit, let it sit for 5 minutes, and plug it back in to reset it. That will be $147.00. I said, your telling me its costing me $147.00 for you to tell me to unplug the unit and plug it back in to re-set it? He said yes, thats the cost of the service call.. THIS IS A DISHONEST RIP OFF BUSINESS. They could have told me that over the phone but they choose to rip people off instead. Go anywhere but this Culligan!
Do not order a Culligan water softener system from this company! Oursystem stopped working within 6 months of purchase and they do not want to service their product. My husband has made three service calls and each time no one has bothered to show up after he has taken off work for these service calls. Last week he called again and someone was supposed to call him Monday to set up a 4th service call and no one called. He called again today and to his astonishment there is no record of him speaking with anyone last week. Our system has not been working for 6 months and I know what is going on Culligan is waiting for the 1 year warranty to run out, which is coming up in a few weeks. Joel our sales person lied over and over during the sales pitch. He never came back to test the water after it was installed. The salt delivery is a joke and we ended up canceling that waste of money. I went with the salt delivery because I was told by Joel with the salt delivery they will check the system monthly during the delivery. How can they can check the system when they were leaving the salt at end of our driveway every month? This has been a nightmare to deal with!!
I wrote the negative review below and was very impressed when David, the new manager responded by coming out personally and quickly resolving the issue to our satisfaction. He has a lot of messes to clean up from the previous management and we appreciate his prompt response. I am hopeful that this is the beginning of quality service from now on..POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE too many times. We have had to pay for Culligans errors with our drainage system three times. Last month, the technician admitted it was the fault of the previous tech and that there would be no charge. However, the office manager then told him he had to charge something. Now the grass is dead where he worked meaning we will have to replace that sod ourselves ( again).We have spent over $10,000 on our system and feel that Culligan has made no effort to have a satisfied customer. Cannot recommend this company.
Working with this company has been one of the worst experiences in my life, issues with their misrepresented finance program. Paid in full and still receiving bills, my loan was sold and still receiving bills from second creditor even when account is paid in full and closed. Office manager talks over you on the phone, come across as a bully and wont let you complete a sentence, he is arrogant and will not listen to customer complaints.
I gave this company one star but should be even less than that.When I had a problem with my water softener and the resin was leaking out into my pipes and appliances and I had no water pressure throughout house they were unable to come to service for 1.5 wks. This was a very big problem that I was never told could even happen. I had salt delivery that was occasionally sporatic and was even charged when they did not deliver salt.There is a delivery charge and then a paper statement charge assessed without offering you the opportunity to receive a statement otherwise. Needed to get filter changed on reverse osmosis and they were unavailable for a wk and cannot accommodate a time frame in afternoon at 3; call you day of appt with whatever window they want. Very poor customer service; would have to take entire day off for this company.
Horrible company. Nickel and dime you to death. Hidden $2.50 delivery fee and now a $2 statement fee. I paid ahead of time. I even had a negative balance. They have seen the last of my $$$.
Too bad you cant rate zero or less stars. If you want any kind of service post sale DO NOT buy a Culligan system. When I moved I tried to get them to relocated the system I owned. It was a terrible experience. Spent hours trying to get them to respond. I wont every buy a Culligan product again.

The water tastes good, but the system is NOT a good value.The salespeople really talk up their systems and tell you how reliable they are, and how people will take their Culligan system with them when they sell their house and move, and how Culligan will even move it from your old house to your new house for free. However, my experience has been contrary. Just shy of our 2 year anniversary and the system has stopped working. Its out of warranty (which was only 1 year) and will cost over $100 just to have them look at it to tell me whats wrong with it, PLUS whatever costs are involved in fixing it. So they sold me a $7000 system that lasted just short of 2 years. NOT a good value.
Update: after I entered this review, they called me and gave me the number in the city and corrected the billing issue.Original post: Sales Person Lied: he said they can move the system for us for free. Just called the office and was told they could only disconnect it for us and we have to call the office in the destination about moving. I asked for the number in the other city, she told me to search it online. Poor service! They charged me on site for a filter change and sent me another bill.

It was 97 degrees at the Jaguars game on Sunday. But CULLIGAN 16.9 oz bottles of water were still $5 each. This is too much on any day. But on day that was forecast to break a record high? Really?

My wife and I both love Culligan we had a reverse osmosis installed several months ago and it has been great. The installation and service was very professionaly done. What I like about Culligans reverse osmosis, it is the same unit they have been building for years, so they always have the same filters. Also the unit is not real big, leaves you with a lot of room under your sink. So if you are looking for a great experience call Culligan!!!!

Very bad experience with this company, every time I called for inspection or filter change. they said this or that is not good, everything that they changed, the tank told me has 9 yrs warranty, after less than 2 yrs was broke, called them and they did somebody did bad job, that somebody was culligan, they told me I need rebading when they came they said oh it is on sun you have to change the whole thing $2300, when they put it on the sun, nobody told them to put outside they did it them self. I am very glad that I got rid of them, they charged me $114 just because they came in to do nothing. Not recommended, please you guy out there have a lot of option not them, you are going to have same experience as me.

When I first started service in Jan 2014 everything was great. However, as the months progressed, I started to receive unreliable service. Delivery was missed total of 4 times, and 3 in a row. One of the deliveries was a make up for a previous days missed delivery. So we were out of water 2 days in a row. I was annoyed because I was paying rental on the water dispenser and bottle deposit for a product I wasnt even using. I never received a call that my delivery was missed or a reschedule date. I had to personally call the office and remind them I was skipped. Every time they said the driver didnt have time to complete the delivery route and I should have been called.I also think Culligan has poor communication between the office and the drivers. When I called to cancel after my 4th skipped delivery I told them to forget my scheduled delivery which was missed that day. The next day I got home from work and there was the bottle I told them to cancel waiting at my door. So I had to lug the water dispenser, an empty bottle and a huge/heavy full water bottle from Southside to Riverside to return the items. I went with another water delivery company that so far has been better and gives you online portal to manage your account and deliveries.I give 2 stars because everyone is so nice and accommodating when I called to inform them about the missed bottles. Maybe they need to hire more drivers to complete the routes on time?
Horrible service -- We made an appointment for an annual service call. We were told to expect a serviceman between 1-2pm on a certain date. On that day, we received a call in the morning stating someone would be at our home between 3 and 4 pm. When we questioned the 1-2 pm time slot, we were told that was meant to be the time someone would call us on the date to tell us exactly what time someone would actually be there.Well, 3 came and went as did 4 and 5 and 6, we finally received a call after 6 to say someone would be there around 7. We said no thank you and said we wanted to reschedule for a day where we could be first call in the morning. Service rep did show up bright and early on our next scheduled day. He changed the filter and then was about to leave without checking out anything else on the unit. My husband questioned him and he acted surprised that we wanted the unit checked out to make sure all was well. For $187.25, I think thats the least they can do. Oh, and to top the whole experience off, after we paid by check on the day of service, we received a bill in the mail!Update Dec. 2019 -- After the previous review was posted, I received a call from the new manager/owner of Culligan of Jacksonville. He explained that he was new to the company here and they were working out some kinks and would I consider deleting my post. I chose not to because I felt others should be forewarned. I rely on the reviews of others for a true representation of businesses that I am considering doing business with. However, now 2 years later, I did decide to give Culligan another chance when it was time once again to service my water softener. Well, I guess they didnt work out the kinks too well. Once again we were told that someone would call us between 8 and 8:30 on a certain date to tell us when they would arrive on that day for our service call. Eight oclock came and went as did 8:30, 9:00, and 9:30. At 10:00 my husband called only to find out we were not on the books for that day --- for that matter they didnt have any record of an appointment for us at all. I was sitting next to my husband when he made the appointment and heard the whole conversation! We made another appointment and once again were told someone would call between 8 and 8:30. When again they didnt, my husband called and the office staff had to call the technician who said he had called but got no answer. Neither my husbands nor my phone recorded a missed call. Too make a long story short, the technician did show up that day, we had to get some repair work done to our water softener for over $1000 and here we sit on Christmas Eve with a leaking water tank which cant be fixed for two days . NEVER again.
Patti,We try to accomidate every bodies schedule as much as possible.We offer AM or PM and advise tech will call you morning of service call to give a 2hr window. The service techs run 6 to 8 call per day and we are never sure how long each call will take.So to give you an exact time is very hard as Im sure you would not want us to rush at your home and not do a professonial job just so we can get to the next stop.
We dont really have a problem with the system itself but more with the service and i can only talk about Culligan Jacksonville. I will skip over some strange problem we had with our credit card number being misused and tracing it back to an interaction with Culligan. the biggest beef is that our system installed on a brand new house never worked correctly in the first year and a half and it cost us 2 visits at $115 each to finally get it fixed and we diagnose the failing part ourselves. this is such a poor customer service, not only did we purchase the water softener but also the reverse osmosis. as soon as the original sale is complete, you are just a money tree for them to shake... very very disappointed.An update: the general manager contacted me and took the time to discuss our situation after I posted my review. While it certainly doesnt change the fact, it at least proves that the new management may be more concerned with customer satisfaction and making sure the product delivers on the promises. I have changed my overall grade from 2 to 3 star based on this.
Never showed up to test the water. They advertise free well water testing so I called to set up a time for them to come out to test a well at home my customer is buying. The service/sales guy never showed. Delayed my clients closing by 3 days not having the test. If they didnt want to test the water, the scheduling person should have told me.
Service call for our water softener not working, Jay was the service tech that came out. Very professional and knowledgeable .
Great low-fuss service!
The worst company with the worst service and Michelle the rudest of all. The equipment damaged other equipment, call multiple times and the technician never arrived. Today the Ecolab technician told me that the Culligan water softener damaged the water pump and it is the second equipment that damaged. No one appears and the rude woman Michelle who answers the phone hooked me when I started to complain.I do not recommend this company at all.
