These guys were awesome. Smaller than the big store down the road at the town center, but the fellows working in here were extremely helpful with all questions. Due to supply I wasn’t able to purchase everything from them, but that’s nothing on them. I’ll definitely be back.

Went for an iron fitting and was extremely pleased with my experience. Logan spent 45 minutes with me to make sure we found the highest performing club/shaft combination. Highly recommend Edwin Watts and Logan for a fitting or any of your needs!

I went yesterday to get fitted for new clubs and Brandon was amazing. He was professional, knowledgeable and took the time necessary to discover what clubs were the best for me. I would recommend going there and especially working with Brandon.

Planned on buying a whole new set down to the putter and bag. When I finally was able to speak to someone (it was a rainy Saturday I get it), the arrogance shined through. I went with an idea of what I was looking to buy due to hitting some of my golfing buddies clubs. I relayed that info to him and as his disinterest continued to show he took me to the simulator. Not sure the model but brought me a Wilson 7 iron to hit. I continued to trust the process as he brought over more Wilson 7s with different shafts ( I was waiting to hit the TM or Callaways I showed interest in). After telling a fellow associate he was going to be off soon and if we werent finished he was going to hand me over to him, he hyped up the Wilson brand in any way possible. I told him I had no interest in Wilson he let me know that he couldnt help me then. He attempted to hand me over to the other guy so he could leave but the bad taste was in my mouth. I said no thanks and left. Not once did I hit what I was interested in. Tells me this is sales with kickbacks from certain brands to benefit the rep verses customer. You lost 2K from me Edwin Watts and I wont be back.

Broke my putter(no not anger) took it to EW said no problem created a shaft for my 51 year old blade putter wow cant thank you enough! I almost forgot 28 putts first time out!Thank you EW!

Went in to get some clubs for my son. Fernando spent quite a while making sure he got what he needed and liked. He was very patient and made sure my son knew to take his time when hitting balls. Everyone was very friendly and they have a large selection of golf merchandise as well as clubs. We will definitely be back.

Home town feel for what is considered a Big Box store. Staff is not only extremely friendly but very knowledgeable about their products. Been going there for years and have yet to have a negative experience. Tom Ashton, who runs the establishment is a class act and exemplifies everything he expects his staff to be. He is a true professional.

Absolutely terrific folks to work with. Their number 1 concern is helping you fall in love with the game of gold. I spent ~$800 there on 2 sets of used clubs (me & wife) and various other items. After 89 days of trying to figure out the game I decided it was too aggravating. I walked in and let them know and their manager said.....no problem, I will refund every bit of it. Never expected that! Just awesome people. Alhough golf was not for me, I highly encourage those of you who love the game to stop by and spend your golf allowance here. The best service I have seen in a very long time....

Completely disappointing and women beware. I normally absolutely love Edwin Watts but it must be because I am used to the exceptional service I receive at the Jacksonville Beach store - go there and skip this place. I stopped in because I happened to be in the area for another reason. I walked in looking for some specific items and was more than prepared to make a purchase. I was just about completely ignored, even though they had ample staff available and only one other customer. I can only surmise it was because I am female. Maybe being from this end of town they dont realize the money that the female golfers of Ponte Vedra Beach have to spend. Additionally, the selection was horrible compared to the Beach store. The square footage is impressive but the amount of merchandise from which to select leaves much to be desired. Do yourself a favor and shop with the GREAT team at the Jacksonville Beach store and skip the Philips Highway location. The team on Philips has a lot to learn specifically about customer service and human relations. Now I know why my friends dont bother to cross the ditch to go to the other side, its not worthwhile. Now I know better.

The 1star rating must be an anolmoly regarding the poor service. For the 7plus years Ive been a customer, Tom and the gang have been nothing but helpful with anything involved with golf. From fitting, customizing, repairs, they do it all.Ive had the opposite experience regarding the beaches location. The one time I utilized the 90 day exchange they gave me a really hard time. And for this reason Ill never go back.In the past 12 months Ive purchased a M1, M2 driver and 3 wood. An epic driver and 3 wood, 2 Scotty Cameron putters all from the Phillips Hwy location because of their exceptional service and no questions asked returns.This is where its at if you are in the market for any golf equipment or services. Buy with confidence and know that you will be cared for after the sale!!!!! This goes a long way!!!! Cheers!!!
