If you are considering Prairie Grit for a purchase, you may want to reconsider. My experience was:Paid for items on 7/7 -received some of them 7/15The items I did receive were the wrong items (Bronze faucets rather than Nickel). The other part of order did not come, I received a note after 7 days cancelling it, said I’d get a refund, which I had not received when order arrived.I called the customer service #, sounded like a personal cell phone, not a business – person not available, please leave a message. This was followed up by a message that voice mailbox was full, unable to take any more messages.I sent an e-note through their customer service portal – got message it was successfully sent, still no response from it.So, unless you want longer than expected delivery time, and delivery of wrong items, and failure to deliver part of your order with 7 days passing before even being notified they did not have what was listed as “in stock”, you might want to use a another seller.When you pair all that with no way to contact the seller and their failure to reply to you e-request, it’s the formula for the very worst kind of online transaction. I see from other customers that it usually gets blamed on individual sellers but keep in mind it was the Prairie Grit listed number and e-request process that has failed to respond.For the first time ever, I am beginning the process of filing a report with the FTC fraud portal. Meanwhile, my remodel project is on complete hold with a bathroom out of service and significant funds tied up by a non-responsive e-vendor. Don’t say you weren’t warned.
We received Damaged Box with someone returned Item, No customer service!! CAN NOT RETURN!!!I would not purchase from this business, my wife order a Delta faucet from them. When the faucet arrrived the box was damaged, we thought from rain; I could see the way it was taped up, it had been opened before. When we did open I found the directions were missing and did not work as should.We placed sent an email and placed two phone calls. No response from either. When i called the number I could tell this was a cellphone and not a business line. After another phone call the mailbox was full and could not leave another message.My impression is they sell USED products and will not contact you back if you call. If you want quality go somewher else!!
When I say quick delivery it comes fast! Butt I strongly advise before using this site to create a account because it will be no way to track it! The request page does not exist. I still gave 3 stars because the package came so quickly and product was as described and fit perfectly on my bathtub and shower faucet.
Ordered a Moen faucet for a fraction of the cost at other big box stores. Frankly, seemed almost too good to be true. Shipped quickly and appears all parts included. Great transaction so far. Will update upon completion of the project.
This is the worst company I have ever dealt with! I will never order anything from them again and warn everyone to stay away. We ordered a MOEN faucet, got a tracking number saying it was delivered to our side door that we dont have. I have reached out to the company many times via email and phone and even started a case with FedEx. I was told they would send us another one, but have not received it as of yet. This has been on going for 2 months. Extremely slow response times from PraireGrit. DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY!
How do you get in touch with the owner? I have tried numerous times. No one has returned my phone call or emailed me after four email attempts on my end. Ordered and love the product. Placed another order, needed to cancel. NO communication from owner.
We ordered a kitchen faucet on a Sunday, received and installed it on Thursday. Perfect! Thanks so much for making ecommerce a breeze!
UPDATE: Soon after I posted this negative review, the owner/manager contacted me, apologized and resolved my situation immediately. Therefore I am adjusting my rating to three stars. It seems the vendor I ordered from was the problem. I appreciate the owners follow up and concern!If I could give zero stars I would! Do not order online from this place!I ordered a Cubs mask on April 24. There was no information on the site that the order would be delayed. I got the auto-generated order confirmation on April 24, and they charged my credit card on April 27. As of today, June 26th, no mask and no responses to multiple email requests checking on status. They are taking advantage of people during the Covid-19 pandemic and just padding their pockets. Do not order unless you want to lose your money! I am filing a claim with Attorney General and the Better Business Bureau.
Contacted Prairiegrit.com on their internet chat. Was told if I wasnt happy with the purchase they would immediately send a return shipping label and refund.I bought a Moen faucet. It was described as open box. It has NO additional parts other than the faucet. The faucet has a broken seal meaning its junk. Several attempts to contact Prairiegrit through their chat went unanswered. Several attempts to contact the seller went unanswered. I am now going through the complaint process with PayPal.I would never buy from them again. They pitch like they really care before the sale, but wont even talk to you after.Same day, possibly same hour this was posted I was contacted by the owner who immediately made things right.It appears there was a bad seller, but the company itself is a definite 5 star!My thanks to the owner!

Im writing to share MY experience setting up a store on your site.I found it EXTREMELY slow uploading photos and very difficult finding matching descriptions in the dropdown boxes. I was looking for vintage art/oil paintings. This shouldnt take 4 hours to get one thing posted.You should spend some time on Etsy or Ebay to improve... most businesses do not have the time or money to waste attempting to set up or add items to their shop. I have canceled my free 30 day subscription due SOLELY to the difficulty getting started. I DID watch the tutorial videos but again; this was a complete waste of half my day yesterday. Good luck with future endeavors.
