Great experience today! Visited for the first time for a recall on my Subaru. Was stuck there for three hours with two small children. They have bottled water, bananas, apples, other snacks, crayons and paper and toys. Lots of things available to keep kiddos preoccupied. Everyone was friendly and very helpful.

Recently purchased 4th vehicle from Shults, and every time it has been a very smooth, stress free process. This time worked with Joel, Bev, Darren and Karen(?). In this and every other instance, everything the dealership said they would do they did, there were no surprises. Service has also been good, easy scheduling, always ready when promised, no issues with the work done. Regarding vehicle price, looked at other remote (Erie, Buffalo...) dealerships and the Shults price was the same or better. Overall this is a great dealership.

Everyone at the dealership was pleasant and attentive. There was no pressure to buy. They are fair in their pricing and very knowledgeable about their products. And I usually prefer a colonoscopy prep to a car-buying trip because of many bad experiences at other dealerships.

I love my new 2020 Subaru Forester! Still learning how to use all the features. Joel my customer salesman was so helpful every step of the way from the time I came to the lot. I had done my homework and knew what my trade in value was worth on the two vehicles I had to trade. They gave me a great deal and with 0% interest for 63 months. This is my 3rd Subaru. Purchased a total of 8 vehicles from Shults over the years and have been happy with sales, finance, and service every time.
I was disappointed because I was told they had several foresters available, base and premium. I drove one premium, not my color nor my price. The base model Ive read on their website and others is just over $24,000 and he said 27,000. Kelly book for my vehicle 2020 truck is around 24,000 and I bought a few add on parts about 1,600. He said kelly book says 22,000. When I was married we bought from Jamestown subaru, however our salesman has retired. I trusted him, this man, name I wont mention was not at all honest with me. And all I can say is make sure you know your prices especially when you are a woman 👎

I purchased a new Forester Sport right around the time of everything shutting down. The dealer assisted me in making this deal work and stay within the guidelines in place. They offered me a fair deal on a trade and the cost of the new vehicle. It was probably the most painless experience I’ve had buying a car. The salesman, sales manager and finance specialist all were easy to work with and made this experience pleasant. The car itself is great with the limited time I’ve had to drive it. The new generation Forester is much better than the previous ones I’ve owned.
Larry was very friendly and made our purchase very easy. He took his time showing us and telling us about the Subaru we purchased. Did not feel pressured and felt he was fair to deal with. We are happy with the car and the whole experience. Love our Subaru Impreza.
In October, I put a $500 deposit down on a Green Forester that was being transported to Shults Subaru. The agreement was they would hold it with my deposit for a month. I was excited for it. However, after the car had come in, they knowingly sold the car I had a deposit on to another customer. It wasn’t a mix up or an accident, I was told they sold my car after the fact (still less than a month from when I put my deposit down, violating the agreement). They had actually led me on via text, asking when I was going to be in to pick up my car, AFTER they had already sold it.They did offer to transport a comparable car from another dealership, which was nice, but the second car would have taken a few weeks to a month for transport and I needed a new car before then. I did speak to the sales manager to ask they refund my $500, which they did issue within a week or so, but it was clear they didn’t regret their decision. It was very unfortunate because my parents had just bought a car with Joel, and I really enjoyed working with him before this happened. Nevertheless, I can’t recommend anyone buy a car from them. On the bright side, I ended up buying the same exact car in Buffalo (Northtown Subaru) for $5.5k less than what I was going to be paying at Shults, so if my experience isn’t a deterrent for you to buy from them, maybe saving thousands of dollars will be!

An hour and a half for oil and filter(s) change and switch out summer tires for winter ones...seemed like a long wait.

Have had passenger warning light come on for no reason. First told that it was my cell phone on the seat (even though at times a loaf of bread will set it off). Now airbag warning light stays on for days. Told to set an appointment and bring it in . Of course light not on five days later. Was Will be old hopefully it wont go on again. What kind of BS is that? I willnever buy foreign car again if this is the support I receive.

They have always been professional friendly and attentive to our needs.Good communication on progress and completion as well. We have experienced in the past from other shops where clean up from the work was not performed. They have always cleaned up afterwards.

Had my parents come here as they treated me well when I was shopping Nissan. The manager at the time was so kind and let me test drive an Altima. The manager now wanted my 60+ year old parents to commit to the sale before knowing the bottom line?! As a business owner, and former marketing/design sales manager, you have it backwards. You have to commit to the customer. Im not one to make a scene, so I told them to pleasantly leave and find somewhere else that will appreciate their business. Its a shame, years ago they treated me so well even when I told them I wasnt able to buy a vehicle at the time and was just doing preliminary research. My parents are now very very happy with their Jeep Renegade. PS: When my mother called to tell (the poor salesperson that lost a sale due to management) them she went with a Jeep Renegade, the salesperson cockily replied of course you did... If youre down to deal with underhanded business and the utmost disrespect, please by all means buy your vehicle here.
