Friend of mine went for an alignment and some other things and when the car came back it was wobbly to beat hell, its my understanding that the guy who runs the joint is a decent business man but he needs to keep his mechanics in check and he should really take care of his loyal customers better than I witnessed

My two daughters, one of their roommates, and her sister were driving from Wyoming back to college in Minnesota at the end of Spring Break. Near Jamestown, their Prius started running rough and the engine light started flashing. Feeling nearly helpless, I had them call for a tow truck and Budget Auto responded. It was a Sunday, so they were unable to repair the car right then, but they took the girls to a diner until they could be picked up and taken the rest of the way. Budget Autos mechanics scoped the car the next day and discovered it was only a spark plug. They had it running well again quickly. Since I wasnt able to pick up the car right away, they stored it in their lot for two weeks, free of charge. After I picked up the Prius, it drove like new. Had they not been an honest business, they could have really take advantage of us. If they had told me that some expensive computer module had failed, I would have had no choice but to believe them. As it is, the bill was less than $90 and my girl has her Prius back on campus. Thank you for treating us so well, Budget Auto Service & Towing!

The police department had Budget Towing call me for a fuel delivery. I was very disappointed with the man who called. He had an attitude and was very rude over the phone. I told him I was waiting on AAA to call me back and I’d call him back, he proceeded to say tow companies sleep at this hour and how they don’t get paid on cancellations. I ended up using K & D because it was cheaper and they were very nice.

Let me make late payments took, forever to pay off my vehicle. Budget auto even fixed it no money down, just added to the interest free loan. Good business.

Brian rescued our family when our car broke down 10 miles outside of Jamestown on our way to visit family in Fargo from Bismarck. He towed our vehicle and transported my wife, baby, and myself back into town to his auto shop. He let us use one of his vehicles that evening to take to the hotel, and for the duration of the time it took to fix our car, so we were not without a vehicle. He was very friendly and transparent in all our dealings and he and the Budget Auto crew got our car up and running better than before. My wife and I thank God for Brian and the Budget Auto crew. We’re so glad it was Brian who showed up that evening to pick us up on the side of the road. We highly recommend working with Brian and Budget Auto Services and Towing.

My 16-year-old daughter and I broke down outside of town at midnight Saturday in below zero weather.The 24-hr towing company told us to call someone else. Called Budget Auto (even though they were listed as closed) and Skip came to get us in about 5 minutes. He set us up with a loaner car and led us to our hotel to make sure we found it. He fixed our vehicle on a Sunday and even topped off the fluids.We would have been easy targets if they wanted to rip us off and we could have been stranded until Monday. The price was fair. The service was great.The place isnt pretty, it isnt fancy... its a shop... and its one I would recommend.

My daughter and I had car trouble and needed to be towed, road service sent out Budget Auto Towing. It was pretty foggy out. When help arrived the driver of the towing service was very considerate and just a happy man. The truck was toasty warm. He was kind enough to take us to a restroom as we had been on the side of the road for about 2 hours. We didnt get his name but I would hope all towing companies have considerate, patient, andand though drivers as he was.

I highly recommend them for towing. I didnt catch my drivers name but he was so friendly and down to earth. We were stranded on the road outside of Tower City he came from Jamestown and called while on his way to check on us. He arrived on time had my mother and I wait in the cab and warm up (we were sitting for an hour n half in my dead car) and he helped us up and got us on the way. Conversed with my mother and me, got us laughing and smiling over this demise (had to cancel all our weekend plans) and he towed us back to Fargo. He made sure all was okay, we had a comfortable ride, and made sure we had a ride home from the shop (where we dropped the car). He definitely needs many praises and a raise!!!! The gentleman also looked under my hood to see if he could see anything. I hope more drivers are like him!!

If 0 stars was possible I would. Wanted cash for my minivan. Didnt get that nor a credit on my exs truck. My name was not to be on any of the papers except for the van but looked again and it was on everything for the truck to. Truck worth 600 to 750 max but sold to my ex for 5600. Will be going to court over this and both of us are considered a vulnerable adults.

Budget Auto and Towing was a life saver! They came to the rescue at 10pm on a Friday night, fifteen miles out of Jamestown. I had two employees headed back to Fargo when their car broke down. Budget sent out a tow truck driver, dropped them off at a motel and then fixed the vehicle first this Saturday morning. My guys were on their way by 11am! Not only were they fast and efficient, they were extremely reasonably priced! I highly recommend and would absolutely use them again. Thank you again for all your help!

Byran is phony over charged for cars that are a peace of junk an taxes fix charge on your loan so you will never be able to pay off the car. Never would I buy car from this place again take your business some where else please buyer be ware of budget auto

Would not recommend. I am currently purchasing an suv from them. I always have paid more a month than what I owe and I am always on time. I mailed in my payment and I didn’t see the funds come out of my acccount so I called them and nicely asked if they received my payment. The owner responded very rudely and said “What if all 150 of my customers called me saying did you get my payment did you get my payment did you get my payment. See how frustrating that is. Yes I got your payment” ...by then I hung up on him. That is just not a way to talk to your customers yet alone anyone. The owner is definitely not a “man” of business and should be put out of business. He is definitely a jerk. Didn’t find this out until now after purchasing my vehicle from him for months.

I worked for Brian years ago, but had never actually done business with him until recently. Transfer case went out twice & had to be towed twice. He ate the cost of labor, a 2nd transfer case & a tow. He may seem slightly harsh, but is always busy so chances are you called mid tow or emergency . But for $60 hr labor who can complain. Not to mention he offers financing with out credit checks. He is not a franchiser & runs it off of his own property. Its an auto shop not a 5 star hotel. Got my car back today & so far all seems good its not his fault the 1st transfer case was faulty. He knew I had to leave for Florida & catch a flight plus drop off a 160 lb great dane & offered to loan me his personal car. Im happy so far. Will update if im not

Brakes went out of my car. I called AAA for a tow. They sent these characters. Tow driver told us we could get back on the road tonight. When we got to the condemned building they use as their shop they said everyone was leaving and it would be morning. After reading other reviews I would warn against this place of business.

Terrible communication. Does not respond to calls or texts. All around rude person. Prays on the less fortunate.

Stay away! Avoid like the plague! This guy is a caniving crook! Claims he does Maintainence, and fixes your car. However when you come to get it, he denies any knowledge or displays any empathy about the 50,000 warning lights, that magically come on. Moreover he says his staff will not be doing any more Maintainence on it, because theyve already done enough to it. When your bill is tallied up, he adds some mysterious charges for hidden problems... Hope this guy is out of business soon...

Terrible place I had them install a new transmission in my truck and I made payments on it because he insisted that I did then I was late on one payment and they went batshit crazy and then the transmission went out so I stopped paying for the transmission so he tried to take the entire truck so I sold it.
