All the employees are truly amazing. The customer service is outstanding. I always have good experiences shopping. The cart runners are so pleasant. You recently hired a new cart runner. I cant remember his name. Not being rude hes Afro American. He brought me my riding cart; made sure I was in it safely & said when youre done shopping; call me. Ill help you when youre done.. Lynda is always so pleasant. She was done with work. We seen her shopping & said hi to my grandson.

Deli never lets you down. Made fresh daily. You can get dinner for your family from fried chicken to sushi! The produce is delicious. Very friendly staff. Clean business with sanitation being used but no masks are required at this time. Great place to find new foods to love!

I absolutely love this store. The prices are a bit high but I prefer coming here simply because of the welcoming feeling we always receive. Employees are helpful, smiling, and friendly. My twins love the car carts. They also have things other stores dont have. :) I HIGHLY recommend it.

Updated review: I previously rated this store 4 out of 5 stars but lately it seems many of the employees could care less about the customers or their jobs for that matter. If you are buying any perishable foods make sure to check the expiration date. Often I have found expired or nearly expired Yogurt on the shelves. Even some non perishable items can be found at close to the best by dates. At the self check-out there are certain employees who will watch you like a hawk (even if you are a regular) as though they expect to find you stealing something. I assume they have been trained to do this but it feels insulting. On another note masks to help prevent the spread of Covid are recommended in our county regardless of vaccination status. It is surprising to see the majority of employees here unmasked opposed to some of the competitors in town. You are in the service industry get with the program! 🙃

Wonderful staff, they offer great extra services like creates for your dog to be in or a child care area while you shop. I go here often because of the great environment of the store.

Love the produce, bakery and deli. Enjoyable shopping experience. Wonderful wide isles and helpful staff. Festival Foods returns so much to our community. Sponsors fireworks, Turkey Trot, donates to local non-profits and sponsor events. Janesville is fortunate they located here.

Its fine. But Im not sure what the appeal over Woodmans is. Id rather support a local store then this national chain. The handful of times Ive gone on nothing was cheaper or nicer.If your looking for beer skip it. Go to Woodmans. While Festival has alot of liquor, its nearly all wine and spirits. The selection of beer is not good.

Great People. Deli and Bakery are just fantastic. The place is spotless. Woodmans Is a dump by comparison.

The store is well lit and clean. They have a nice bulk area and my family loves sesame sticks and they have a variety and I can get as much or as little as I want. With the scale system I know how much I have and what it will cost.They also have a great variety of meat; including side pork I cannot find anywhere else.Did not give the last star because they have an awesome deli and meat selection but lack brand diversity in shelf stable goods and that can cause a slightly higher grocery bill.

I love this store! Its so clean and the clientele isnt as bad as what you typically see at Walmart. The staff are Friendly. The selection is great!

Their cake was out of this World! It was soloist it was the number! From.now on I will prefer it over walmart. The service is way better!

I went festival food for the party. Did not disappoint. The place is filled with amazing people and the selection of baked goods? Second to none. Yes you have to dress up and get passed the door man. No shirt no shoes no dice. However if you get in its on like donkey Kong. Bring your A game. Ill be back next weekend for sure!

Love shopping at Festival. When we moved to Wisconsin I was a little freaked out about not having the grocery stores I was use to. Janesville Festival totally rocks way better that what I was use to.

If I could give there deli department 100 positive stars I would. Specifically I want to give praise to Cindy and Jamie. Very professional and nice. Always smiling and willing to help. They even remember people first names.If the deli doesnt have something made they will try to get it made on the spot.Its so nice to interact with these two individuals 100 stars and kudos.

The produce section is beautiful and full. Every aisle seemed freshly stocked, stacked perfectly to the front. Good deals with the ad coupons, and they usually have the ad at checkout for you. I love their paper bags. Id give four and 1/2 stars if I could, due to the ground beef/meat i looked at buying all expiring the next day and not a bright vibrant red as it should be. I also feel bad about all the food that goes to waste in the deli and meat departments...

Prices are higher than other stores in the area. They dont have hand scanners, so all of the heavy products on the bottom of the cart has to be lifted up to the clerk.. I wont be going back

They hire people saying we have flexible scheduling. But when another coworker finds out someone was hired to NOT work weekends and complains, said persons hours are cut to 2 four hour shifts. Sad they ding single parents for trying to improve their life.

They have a good selection for their deli. Thats usually what I go there for the most. Otherwise I go for specific items that I cant get at other stores. Their food is very nice and I especially love all the prepared meals and things, kind of helps in a quick fix. But they tend to be a little more pricey than other places that I typically shop.

Once again I was looking for baked chicken and found two old pieces that look like they were there for 8 hours. Ive mentioned this several times to the deli staff but apparently its falling on deaf ears. It would be really great if this could be straightened out

We love festival food. They have a great premade food selection we love. Saves us lots of time and is delicious and priced well. Also great for quick lunch breaks when time is short. Love the upstairs dining area and absolutely love that they have a play room for kids. Definitely a much nicer store to shop in that woodmans.

Love shopping here. Its always clean, produce section is top notch, LOVE their sushi, and they have a lot of nicer luxuries like a cafe area and childcare while youre shopping. Would definitely recommend.

Started with Julie in liquor store who went above and beyond to help me with my request. She put in a customer request and followed through to help me find what I was looking for, even recommended a competitor to fill my needs! Ultimately I could not find product. To my amazement, Candy called and told me they received the product I was looking for! Awesome staff and follow thru!! They truly took my request to heart and made my day! Great selection of hot food and premade meals. The seafood/meat department is amazing with fresh fish/meat. This store has everything. Love shopping here.

Festival has quality deli and produce. I love this grocery but it is pricey. Most pantry items are priced about 30 cents to almost $2 over Walmart grocery and several other grocers in my local area.

Great bakery. Good daycare center for those not shopping with television and picnic area upstairs. You always feel like they want you there.

I was just there around 3:30 pm today. I was at the seafood counter. I got my # and wait there as usual. A guy walked out in a little bit. It really looks like he had a bad day or something. He looks really mad but I did got what in the end. I hope he can get over it .

The workers were amazing and very helpful. Theres also a great selection of cheeses and other items you could be looking for. The deli selection is always stocked and the presentation is beautiful! If i had to choose any grocery store to shop in, I would choose festival hands down. This is all my honest opinion.

Selection, produce, meats, fish.... This place has it all and maintains great quality, too.Staff is fantastic. Prices are pretty good but can be a touch higher than other stores. However, the selection for certain types of items (like fish and marinades, ready to grill chicken breast options, salads, etc) is considerably better and worth the extra $.

Store was clean & worker helped me save money by having me scan coupon circular kept at each self check-out. I was only one with mask on despite health dept guidance that Rock County should be masked right now.

We stopped to pick up a few items but went home with a lot more! They have so much to offer!

Tricky time to go grocery shopping. They do a good job of accommodating everyone here. They have closed down what they have to, but still run a deli counter and make fresh sushi. The liquor store attached always has a really interesting selection as well. Im a Scotch guy myself and they have interesting selection across the price spectrum.

Oh and the employees are friendly, helpful and kind. and if you can not find what you are looking for, just ask and they will order it for you and call you when it arrives.. No other market does that!.

Have shopped here since they opened. I love the bakery! Each cake I get customized, 7-8 a year I loved each time. I loved the cleanliness and friendliness at this store. Until recently, a lady by the name of Karen was extremely rude. Whatever “manager” was on duty at that moment should be fired as well. I will not be shopping at Festival again. Karen needs to be educated on how to deal people of all kinds and what NOT to say.

Meat and deli counters are amazing! Great meats and sea food. The bakery if fantastic!Only problem for me is a bit pricey on regular groceries if not on sale. Definitely worth a trip for the butcher part.

Usually good service at checkout. Not today. Cashier did not greet me or ask if I found everything (I hadn’t). She blamed her mask.Before 8 am so I guess I had to bag my own. While I was doing so she decided to wait to begin checking out the next customer instead of using the next belt. I felt rushed. Complained at the desk all I got was “Sorry” I expected to hear if any steps would be taken. I guess not.

Very good meat department. Favorites include dads lime chicken and bourbon roast.

This is an extremely clean grocery store. The deli is fairly expedient and friendly. The cashiers and baggers are always pleasant, cheerful and kind. The floor staff has been hit or miss on these standards in my dozen or so visits. They seem more task oriented than service oriented. The sale prices are great, so I recommended shopping them. Regular prices have higher than desirable marks.
