This is where I almost always do my grocery shopping. It’s local, convenient, and clean. The employees are generally friendly, and I usually can find everything I need. Even though this store is smaller than other Hannafords I have been to, I have always had a good experience, and it is my go-to place for weekly groceries.

Big selection of products. The rewards program earns money back and always has great deals to offer. The sales are nice and change weekly offering a variety of choices. An agency liquor store, also. The store is clean and easy to navigate. This store also has a pharmacy that is super easy to use and convenient while shopping.

This place is very clean, nice people and they offer about everything you could ask for. But with grocery markets price is a big issue especially with what our generations are seeing .presently in our state and country. Theyre a bit high on price in comparison to the big stores in Farmington. Clean healthy and well stocked ( at the moment) I dont do my groceries here but I would if neccesary Id just have to pay a bit more. Strong 4 for this place and others Ive seen statexide

Everytime I go to this hannafords they just are so amazing. They one up themselves everytime. They are so helpful and very kind. The workers there made life that much easier for me they helped me with the changing table in the ladies rest room when they saw my hands were full and they even helped me find a freshly ripe mango when I said I couldnt tell if one was ripe. I definitely recommend this hannafords to my friends because the customer service there is just so on point. Thank you Jay Hannafords Employees! A huge round of applause to the employees and the boss who hired these lovely workers yall do a great job. Keep up the good work yall.

This store is stocked with anything you can think of, clean, great produce, every kind of meat, prices are great also.

Ill stop here if I just need something quick, but not nearly as good of a selection as Farmington.

Not happy today... I went to your store in Jay, Me.. I have the hannaford awards.. I was sent 3 diffrent items that were for free.. You didnt carry any of the items in your store... Was told sorry u need to go to a larger store..You didnt even try to make me happy...Not the way to treat a loyal customer.

This pharmacy is terrible between Farmington and Jay neither of them are any good. They take forever to fill a prescription and when you call to ask if they have it they usually say no and then you have to ask again and ask are you sure and then they look again and they find it and then there is always some issue why it can never be filled. Been going here for 3years and if my insurance didnt work so well through this pharmacy Id be long gone!

Great store but getting high In prices

Why is the person at the door at Hannaford letting people go into the store without face mask? There were at least three in the store while I was shopping and another one that was talking to the girl outside just before he went in. One of the girls inside was coughing and hacking all over the place without a mask on, coughing in her hand. Doesnt exactly make one feel easy about doing their daily shopping for groceries. 😷

I foot of snow expected, which means go to Hannafords. Everyone was there and there was milk and bread for everyone.

This is a great store. They have a lot of foods you cant find, except maybe in a health food store. You can get a lot of non GMO foods here along with foods that dont have extra things added. The people who work there are so nice and so friendly.

Troubling in the days of covid. Sign by the front door says something likemasks required, no exceptions, yet 97% of the customers, and a few staff had no masks. We need to find a way to enforce masking rules. I wont be back anytime soon, unless they get better at enforcement.

The quality at the Hannifords in Rumford is TERRIBLE. I have to go to TWO other hannifords now to get everything I used to get all of here 5 years ago. The meat quality is solidly the worst of any hannifords Ive been to.

Love going to THIS store. We travel farther to go here because we like it so much better than our local one

Well stocked and clean very friendly

The store is clean and never too busy. It is easy to maneuver a shopping cart through the grocery store. Prices are good and so is quality of meat and produce. Hannaford has many store brands of pretty decent quality and also a rewards program. Plenty of parking and always plenty of cashiers available so that even if there are lines, lines move quickly.

Hannaford in Jay is my Favorite!!! The people who work there are so nice and I love the Store

Great place. Store set up is easy to navigate. Deli meats appear to be prepackaged in half pound bags for speedy shopping.

My granddaughter and I found the place easily and they had what we needed!

A slightly smaller supermarket compared to its Farmington counterpart, however it offers multiple food brands to choose from. In-store pharmacy. Clean restrooms. Easy access. Large parking area with handicap spaces near doors.

Im not a local, but really love this grocer. Prices are mid range, but the overall food quality and variety are excellent. I find many ethnic foods that are hard to come by at Hannafords.

I only go to this Hannaford when I absolutely need to. Living in the area, sometimes forces my hand. It Def needs an upgrade. I do however highly recommend the Hannaford in Winthrop.

This store is terrible. It has that dying town feel to it where you know the company isnt going to fix the place up like they do with the other stores because its not worth the investment. The selection of items is incredibly weird. no regular hannafords brand yogurt, just Greek yogurt. no regular almond milk, just reduced sugar. No regular sweet Italian coffee cream, just sugar free. But thank god they have all those red hotdogs and bud light for the for the people who just got their welfare check and feel too rich to shop at Food City. I live less than 5 minutes away from this store, but choose to shop at Farmington instead.

Newly remodeled, Much nicer good prices

The store is very small. The smallest Hannaford I have been to. There is no Hannaford to Go. There is no Clynk. There is no actual help desk. There is no self check. The cashiers I have encountered are poorly trained on how to do non typical transaction. I had to get three cashiers to do a cash back transaction. They stared at me blankly when I had to tell them, its under service lookups it says EFT only. Theres alway a lot of staff doing store walks and packdowns, talking to each other or today, doing a bagging competition. They are usually cordial but I always feel like the customers are secondary and I am interrupting. The small size of the store reflects on their selection. Items I have come to know and expect from Hannaford simply arent available. I had a WIC transaction the three types of bread I normally buy with WIC were not available. The one bread that wasnt there store brand or Wonderbread said WIC on the shelf but I was told it was ineligible. It was completely embarrassing holding up the line and when I asked if I could just get my check back and leave the entire bagging competition took what seemed like infinity to decide if I could leave. It was a hot miserable day and my children wanted to go home and I felt almost held hostage. I still have to go to another location to get food. I worked in a similar store and I would have handled the situation differently. They werent awful. I will be driving to Turner or Farmington in the future. I scored this store in comparisonto other Hannafords. I still prefer Hannaford as a brand to the local Food City and Save-a-lot. If you have the time make the trek to another location.

Ordered a cake for my birthday and couldent even get what I wanted there supposed to have a bakery but cake bake a cake have to order frozen and on top of that cant even get a regular cake has to be double layer never again will I order a cake from hannaford in jay maine

While shopping i observed Kiana being snobby rude and acted unprofessional towards customers, until mangement came up. Management was great! Cashiers should not argue especially during the holidays.

This Supercenter exceeds expectations. The staff was knowledgeable and helpful. I also like the way the store is arranged.

Great experience everytime I shop. They offer great food, many options to choose and low prices.

Hannaford Supermarket in Jay has gotten rid of their customer service desk, buys disgusting ground beef, and is really not very helpful. I would much rather drive to Farmington or Winthrop than to receive the inferior products and service that I receive in Jay.

Hannafords are all over Maine. This is another good one, out in a rural part of Maine but they still have most everything we needed.

Items near cash register like gum, tic tacs where expensive. Fresh food as always. Prices to high thats all.
