GUY AND HIS CREW DID AN EXCELLENT JOB IN FIXING SOME DAMAGE TO MY SKEETER ZX20 SEVERAL FISHING BUDDIES LOOKED MY BOAT OVER FOR THE REPAIRED AREA AND COULDNT FIND ANY DIFFERENCE IN THE FACTORY AND THE AREA THAT GUY FIXED. COLOR MATCH IS THE BEST IVE EVER SEEN. MY BOAT LOOKED BETTER AFTER GUY CLEANED IT THAN WHAT IT DID BRAND NEW. HE DEALT WITH THE INSURANCE COMPANY FOR ME SO I DIDNT HAVE TO.. GREAT PEOPLE AND QUALITY WORK. IF AND WHEN I NEED MORE WORK DONE TO MY BOAT I WILL BE TAKING IT BACK TO THEM.

I chose to take our very faded boat to American Boat & Yacht because of the reviews here on Google. However, there was part of me that thought all the previous five star reviews were too good to be true. That turned out to not be the case at all. Guy and his crew were the absolute best. The communication was great throughout the entire process. The attention to detail on our project was second to none. It is easy to tell that at American Boat & Yacht turning out a high quality product and making the customer happy are the top priorities. My family and I could not be happier with our boats new look. I needed some fiberglass repair on my boat and did not know where to go. I did my research and read some reviews and decided to take my 2008 Tahoe Q6 to American Boat & Yacht. I was met by Guy, who seemed very knowledgeable on what should be done. He was very accommodating and went out of his way to squeeze me in his schedule quickly. He quoted me an outstanding price to repair my boat. I must say, this was the best experience I have ever had dealing with any type of repair. I HIGHLY recommend American Boat & Yacht to do any of your boat repair needs. I will certainly use them in the near future to get a new custom boat cover and perhaps custom upholstery. My boat was repaired, and it look like it came directly from the factory! Guy and his staff are amazing folks! Very friendly, and treats you like family!!! Repair prices are outstanding, and work is incredible! They work long hours, and wants the customer to be satisfied. My boat was in need of a little TLC with spider cracks on the swim platform, terrible swirl marks on the blue gelcoat left by another Louisville shop that will remain nameless and repairing the hull from one too many beach landings. Guy Voyles and crew are the best. I wouldnt think of going elsewhere. Ive owned an 88 Chaparral since new and have always stored the boat inside and cleaned it after every use. This boat gets a lot of compliments. Now for the bad. The gel-coat along the keel was gone and the hull had another long bottom scrape plus a few small gel-coat dings. Be wary if you beach your boat. After all what is sandpaper made of!! You would never see this unless you were to crawl under the boat, but I knew it had to be fixed to protect my investment. Guy and crew did the repairs and the bottom of the boat looks brand new. They also tightened up the boarding ladder (not easy on this boat). A keel guard that matches the trim on the boat was installed and it really looks good. Guy explained the work every step of the way. I was made to feel welcomed and appreciated. Now I am just as proud of the boat as I was the day I bought it. Guy also picked pickup and delivered the boat. By the way, the boats name is Kathys Ring. and yes she still wears the ring an enjoys the boat. Look for us on the river. Thanks Guy!

Ive been working with Guy Voyles for about three years now, and it is always a truly remarkable experience. The first time I met Guy, I had totaled my very first jet ski. Of course, I was devastated. I took the ski to Guys shop, and was met with extreme professionalism and courtesy. Guy was extremely thorough in explaining the entire process; I knew exactly what to expect and when. There was absolutely no guess work or uncertainty. I knew I was in good hands from the moment I walked into the shop. It was just a matter of a few days, and the entire situation had been as if it never happened. I was back on the water with barely a hiccup; all thanks to Guy Voyles at American Boat and Yacht. I would highly recommend this shop to anyone needing not only fiberglass boat repair, but any of the many boat repair/maintenance services he offers.

I purchase from people i can trust and that dont just look for the dollar sign. I will tell you a little story on why you NEED to do do buisness with this company. Me and my family went to the boat show just yesterday, my father just had a hip replacement and has been stuck in the house for a couple weeks so i wanted to get him out and about. I borrowed my friends hovaround and we set off to the show!! When arriving the hovaround was dead for some reason, but dad is a stubborn guy so he said he was fine we will just take it slow. About half way through the show he was in pain and sat at a random chair a couple feet from this random booth, again was not even at this booth looking or asking questions and were not potential buyers for this company AT THE MOMENT. I dont know her name but she came over and said please sit here if you need to and so my dad did. We told her that our hovaround was dead just making simple conversation. This is where it becomes amazing. She walks up to us after being on phone for a couple minutes and says she has a hovaround that we can borrow. Are you kidding me? Never has seen us before, we were not buying anything from them, we were not even looking at their booth. This is very very rare that someone would lend us a 3000 machine just to let my father have a great time. If they treated just random people like this, what do they do for their customers? I will buy a cover for my boat from them. I know this is not a review for the buisness but this is a review of the buisness owners and that is what counts. They made my day from worried about him to awesome, purely because of their kindness. You all are amazing.Called today and got a price for my boat cover and price was great! The material they use is much better than anyothers and about the same price! When tax returns come in you will have my business for sure.
