I went in today and felt completely comfortable due to the fact they were making people wear face masks. Unlike other places, Menards make people follow the rules they have in place unlike Walmart, Kroger, etc.. Thank you for this policy. If you dont wanna follow the rules its simple, stay away go somewhere else.
Home Depot + Lowes + a little bit of Walmart in one. Good selections to choose from, would give 5 stars, but they seldom have more than 2 or 3 registers open.
The employees were really nice and helpful the place was very clean they have everything you need 😊
Went to the lumberyard to pick up an order today and at 3 different times, 3 different guys stopped what they were doing and asked me if I needed help. Awesome service!
They have a great selection of products to do your projects.
My sister and I always enjoy shopping at Menards. Its affordable and they have a variety of things to look at. I would love it if they would carry Halloween costumes.
Ordered a pellet stove and the required exhaust components those parts were in stock and ready for pickup Stove supposed to be here on the 14 th which I know they don’t have control of the shipping companies. Anyway got there and picked up the thins that were ready no problem.
I liked going to menards because the store has a lot of cool Halloween decorations during fall and that made my day.. At menards, you can find almost any hardware or gardening equipment that you need. One thing I also liked is that they had good costumer service. I hope that this review is helpful for you.
I was in heaven! They had everything I was looking for and MORE!! We bought rose bushes, water hoses, and a fountain. Next its backyard furniture!! They really do have it all! And reasonable!!
Wouldve gave a zero but wouldnt let me. They lost my business over not letting me in store without a mask and I asked for one and they tried to sell it to me. No thanks youre required it so let me have one to enter store dont try to charge me 42 cents for one. We argued about that for a bit. So I left went to Home Depot and spent the 120 for the things I needed. My whole family will not be shopping there.
I like this store. The prices are fair and the products are good quality. The staff will help. I enjoy going there.
Officially done with Menards forever! Mask mandate has been lifted in our state for several weeks & we were still escorted out of the store for not wearing one! We only went in to spend our $80 rebate, but now we’ll take a match to it. Tell all your friends who enjoy their freedom to shop elsewhere permanently. So much for buying our remodel supplies here. I’m sure many other freedom-loving stores will be happy to take our money.
Good prices, great selection, nice staff that seem to be oblivious of any knowledge of the items they carry. Do your product research before you go or make sure to take a fully charged phone so you can do it there.
The customer service individual was helpful the return process was simple. Im not necessarily happy with Menards and probably wont do business with them again but at least in the end I was satisfied
Menards is without a doubt the biggest and best store of it kind I have ever been in. Decent prices and where else can you buy groceries, lumber and appliances under 1 roof. However I did have one major issue we purchased a truck load of treated lumber 12- 12 foot deck boards that had to be cut and they are extremely heavy and to get to the saw I had to carry the heavy lumber over other wood just laying in the floor or stacked around the saw creating a hazard.
Christian who worked outside in the lumber area was a such a great guy he helped me load my truck he went inside and got my concrete for me a very nice young man . I wish you had 20 employees just like it cuz Ive run into some employees at that store that arent quite that nice .This young man deserves a raise for sure
It would be wonderful for the singer in the store to state that you need tonhave a credit card to rent the truck. It does state it online, but not in person. Not everyone owns a credit but many have a bank Mastercard debit card. Also, the associate at the rental desk could stand to be a little bit more polite.
I was looking for a cabinet hinge for an older house. I tried the local hardware store, the big A, and both big home renovation stores without any luck. I went to Menards and they had what I needed.
They had what I was looking for and more. Friendly folks and fair prices48hr update: no exchanges without receipt, Im out 10 bucks because I lost the little rebate slip and the service rep (Alex) treated me like a common crook. Im done; WalMart & Lowes are less then a mile away
Employees on the phone and in the pick up area directed us to the websites and we all tried to buy on line. After three different attempts none of us could complete our purchase to schedule a pick up so we parked and went inside.
The staff in this store are wonderful! Very very helpful.
Theyre a little too much for me.. MASK wise. You know what I mean! Lol. Lowes on the other hand. Just the right touch. Menards didnt even have a exception for people with medical conditions so they wouldnt have to wear a mask.I was told by a manager that if someone had a medical condition they could shop online.
Always very helpful and courteous. Later in the evening theres always handicap parking and less shoppers.
Agree everyone was a great help. I give it a 4 stars
Fully stocked, clean, fair prices, helpful and friendly workers. Did I say fully stocked!
The shopping experience was great until I encountered a female by the name of Jesse at the checkouts. She REFUSED to check me out because of a mask. Advise her of medical condition that prevented mask. She was persistent. Wont ever step foot in the place again. Even after spending 1k. Was going to return today and buy building supplies for my basement. Lowes here I come.
Always have the best of everything I need
The mask mandate has been lifted but still kicking people out that cant wear a mask. I mean you have no right to do this. The company doesnt care about its customers at all. They only care about the bottom dollar. You can get the same product elsewhere for less hassle than if you come here
Had almost everything we needed but a couple of electrical fittings. That section was just a little unorganized, so we had to go to another store to finish up
I personally like Menards. However, it is very difficult as a contractor that has subcontractors pick up materials at various locations go to Menards and do a phone sale. The management is very out of touch with the process. If someone from Menards disagrees with the statement they should go to Menards and try to buy something and have someone else over the phone pay for it just like a subcontractor. As a result we will not have our subcontractors go to Menards again. I gave 2 stars because I personally like Menards, The staff involved which was 5 people all agreed that the process was a waste of their time, Therefore Menards has very good employees that were following the rules set out by management. It would be more advantageous to just tell people they cannot do phone sales.
I enjoyed shopping at Menards again. Finally found a new front door & security door to boot! Found some good bargains in the grocery isle too. Will definitely be back.
A great selection on lighting, but to get 11% off you must fill out a form sent it in, and they send you a card, with the 11%on it, but you have to buy it at there store only. A joke, never again.just one big circle spend and get 11% back through our gift card, what a sham!!!!
Great service. They were out off a few applaicess that we were looking for
Very rude( kitchen cabinet area). The lady today told me that she could not help me. I told her that I would just go to another store. The lady in the cabinet area said fine. Is this the way Menards does business? Either we get this resolved today or I wont spend my money with Menards anymore. You have until five oclock.
This was the pumpkin patch farm me and my daughters and wife we had a good time that day when we was there, it was fun i miss that kind of stuff with my kids because they aint babies no more now and that is the best times and good memories when they was babys, i really miss that kind of stuff good times it would be nice to turn back times...
The best home improvement big box store, hands down. More, better stuff at or below the price at Lowe’s or Home Depot. Then they do 11% off everything for a week, once in a while.
I drove an hour and a half round trip to pick up an order I was told was there when I got to the store it was not there I called and talked to the manager he was not very helpful other than to tell me he would try to find out who told me that if it wasnt for the 11% rebate I would probably not be back.
Check out disaster. Got everything we wanted and management was helpful. We bought $560 of flooring and materials after looking at their options and finding what we wanted. While my wife was getting in line to purchase the flooring, I decided to go check out a few other items. By the time I got back with them she was already through. The same guy that had checked my wife out minutes ago proceeds to explain to me why she may be upset with him. He had called her babe and she had taken offense to it. He didnt know the answer to her rebate question but called her babe. I get that many people dont mind it but she did and she respectfully told him so. To keep this short, his explanation to me (who didnt ask for one and just wanted to get going) was more offensive than if he hadnt even mentioned it. Know when to shut up.
Finally over Menards. The sign at the front says if there are more then 2 people in line theyll open another register. Well the last 5 times I have waited for atleast 15 to 20 minutes to check out behind atleast 4 to 5 other customers. So much time that I have the time to type this review while in line because 15 minutes in to my wait Google popped up asking for a review. So if you need stuff and cant drive the extra quarter of a mile to get to Lowes and like to wait, come to menards.
Pros: large selection, lower costCons: poor service, difficult to navigateI will admit, this place maybe more suited to a pro, but your advantage person, this place is a nightmare.I have been here 3 times. Two of those times I left in complete fustration and went to their competitors down the road. The other time, I paid less for a product and I got what I paid for.The other two times, I was overwhelmed and confused by certain products, went to ask for help, took 10 to 15 minutes to find an employee that ethier couldnt answer my questions or acted annoyed I had dare bother them. This place is not worth the money, or the headache. Go to elsewhere and get what you need.
What a great store. Nice selection of products. Wish we had Menards stores in Georgia.Oops. I let it slip I am from Georgia.I am so sorry that Georgia left the country down. Unfortunately big money is running our country and government.Plus our elected senators could sell ice to Eskimos. Lot of gullible people in Georgia.Sorry.
Staff urging customers to wear masks, but yet, dont properly wear masks themselves? other than that, this place has some quality things at a decent price for what they are. great place to come if you dont mind mask comments.
Management was very rude, scheduled a meet up to buy items off Facebook marketplace. Chose menards to meet at since it’s close to i65 along with being a large public space. Was harassed by management and told to “stop soliciting” while looking over the items I was buying. Wouldn’t recommend
The store in general is okay. I have taken my 80 yr old handicapped Father multiple times for things he needs and they only have 2 Electric handicap carts for the whole store one that is not even working. He can barely walk and It would be nice if they would provide at least 4 maybe five for the elderly and handicapped patrons.
If they tried as hard to have customer service as they do to be mask police, it wouldn’t be a bad place. Over 99% survival rate people, wake up, don’t be sheep that are controlled by people not even following their own laws. Tell me what good a mask does for the healthy person. If you are vulnerable, stay home
Great place to shop. Always friendly service.
Couldnt find clerk support. They were there, but not for the customers...
Good prices and service
Best customer service of the three home improvement stores in the area.
Walked in no mask, was approached by an extremely rude associate and asked to leave or wear one. So I asked for one, he said I had to pay for one or leave. I left. Wife stayed, looked around, several employees not wearing them right and some people without them. Will not be going back. I thought thier customer service was crazy before, now its off the rails
Gayle has been very helpful on my cabinet design.
Unfortunately this fine store has a Leming policy that has a 0 tolerance for people who refuse to wear a mask. It doesnt matter what your reason, health related or not. It would be great if individuals as well as businesses would STOP following the blind and realize that masks do NOTHING to change the covid 19 results!
Menards has amazing selection. More expensive in a lot of areas but you can find a good deal or two. Grocery section is perplexing and pricey.
The store contains everything you will need for home and garden renovations at a reasonable price.
I have become a regular at Menards even though it is a little further away than the other two home improvement stores in the area.Prices are usually a little better, parking is better and they actually have a lumber yard which means if you are buying several items you load it directly into your truck rather than loading it onto a cart and then pushing it around the store only to have to handle it again when loading it in your truck. My only complaint with Menards is the 11% Sale which they seem to run endlessly. The 11% is a rebate which isnt actually a cash rebate, it is store credit. And it must still be done via the mail.Id much rather have a sale price with a 5% discount over the store credit.
Never once did an associate ask how could they help me. Or if I was finding what I needed....I had to call a family member that happens to work there and ask them where certain items are. Smh.
So disappointed. Came in looking at cabinets today. Have about $20,000 that can be spent somewhere and was treated as though my presence was an inconvenience. The lady acted as though her life was miserable and there were 100 other places she’d rather be than there. I needed guidance on the different options I had and it was obvious she preferred the ease of a customer who knew exactly what they wanted and she could simply take the order.. I needed a salesperson. I needed to know options, the differences between them and actual guidance and help. Guess we’re looking elsewhere.
Found the paint department extremely rude, and unwilling to help, or even listen to what my needs were. The other staff I encountered were busy in thier own private Idaho, oblivious I was even there. The guy at the front door was as nice as anyone got...and I left finding what I needed across the street, and ordered the bigger item from online. Pass.
Its like Home Depot and Wal-Mart combined, only not as intimidating at the former or disorganized as the latter. How did we ever get along without Menards???
Best home improvement store in the area!
For the first time, I am currently working on a major project to insulate my basement. Its a older home with a unfinished basement (so much dirt needs to be removed) and all of the cold air goes straight up through the hardwood flooring. Jacob in building supplies at Menards was extremely helpful. First Id like to acknowledge that he (took the time) to explain how to better understand my insulation project, the measurements, more insight on the baseboard insulation I saw at Menards online and my work in general. In addition he walked me through how to use the in-store shopper computer for my (future) remodeling project. Thank you Jacob!!! I have already returned to the store because of your kindness shown to me.
Love this place. They literally have everything you need. I spend to much money here lol.
GREAT PLACE! EVERYTHING I NEED FOR MY IMPROVEMENTS. *****
As I walked in I was greeted at the door by an associate he had to have been watching a camera monitor, just waiting and hoping for the next customer to tell leave the store because of no mask!He was on me like cold on ice! So I walked towards my car, turned around, walked back in, snuck around and found what I needed and left. Nobody in the store including associates said anything to me about not having on a mask.
Menards was the only place in town that had kerosene heaters. I dont know what we would have done without them. We love Menards!!
Love this place wide selection and great prices.....
Found everything we needed and a little more of things we wanted.
If they dont have it, you dont need it. Reasonably priced, incredible variety, helpful employees.
I stop in for a quick needed item because they are close but for big ticket items Ill have to go somewhere a little more in my price range but they are always friendly and helpful
Good place great price Clean
Well I have to say they have everything...but a good way to check out
Excellent order pick up. I was there for maybe 3 minutes. And they loaded my 2 heavy boxes that normally I would pitch a hand in to load.
Has everything you need for home improvement and more, love this place.
Huge shout out to the staff at Menards! I recently placed an online order. Excellent service! Grateful to Anthony, DeAndre, Kay, Evelyn and the first gentleman I spoke with in the Garden Department. Im incredibly impressed with the service and product. Especially the efforts all these folk went to so that I received my order. THANK YOU MENARDS!
Needs better customer service, and more people that have knowledge of products.
Amazing store. Very good prices, friendly staff. Great selection of items. Always like going to this store. The only thing they could improve is more handicap motorized carts. To few and in poor operating condition or broken.
Love Menards!
Have good deals and good variety of products
First time I had been in that store and the staff was very helpful.
Most wood trim stock of any do it yourself store. Menards Truck Rental $18.95 for first 90 minutes, or in my case $175 for 3.5 hours.. Smh!
Great place lots of choices that fit into your budget. Good hours on the weekends. Customer service is good, especially at the return department.
Wonderful place or so we thought. Drove over an hour and across state lines to secure an AC unit. Paid for it online. Said there were 4 in stock. Got here was told to drive around back and then were told none in stock and have to wait 2 WEEKS for a freaking refund?! We wont be back.
Favorite place for so many of me & my wife’s needs!Everything from bulk purchases, paints, hardware, and even our general household cleaning supplies.A few long checkout lines from time to time, but it is to be expected with a place as popular as this!
I had overheard a couple of wokers, a older woman w/ grey hair & a younger lady, talking w/ each other as I was shopping & I was just absolutely shocked after hearing them discuss there extremely warped, & racial views...It was heart wrenching to hear that sort of redirect to say the least...Very distaisteful ! ! !
Menards was well stocked with lumber that I couldnt get from other locations at prices that were reasonable. We got the material for a bench, shopped through the store, and while very busy, was not crowded. I was able to keep a reasonable distance at every point, and the open spaces made it easier to navigate without major concern. Everyone was make, though some had pulled their mask under their nose rendering them infective. Face shields would be a nice alternative, but I am uncertain how well they are being received. The staff were helpful and only the outside staff were unmasked.
Really nice and the staff was helpful too.
Ordered two items online, went an picked up. Bought a fan, an red white an blue solar light on sale. Easy, asked about the rebates, was told if you order online you print out from your email they send you about pickup. The store has anything an everything youd want, very nice, clean, an many shoppers there Today. But not crowed. Very large store in Jeffersonville, Indiana. I enjoyed it.
When I couldnt get my online order to process, I went there, because I needed to pick up stuff today, the customer service rep went above and beyond to get my order together.
Helpful customer service. Have been able to find what I need when I go there.
I love Menards, one of my favorite places to shop.
Bought a new stove and microwave for my wife got a great deal and 11% off mail in rebate, staff very helpful.
I have no idea whats going on at this store to be honest. I asked if they had Door locks and one employee brought me over to what looked like a cereal aisle with bulk food. Nace asked another Employee and they sprinted away without replying. Like literally sprinted, ran away. They had the apron on so im assuming they were working but idk whats going on there. We just left and went to Home Depot after that.
I love mernards . Good prices and great help.
Got what i needed at better price than home depot or walmart. So works for me
Service was great.
A bit baffled today..went to purchase 40 cinder blocks, was told I would need to walk thru store, load on carts, and go thru checkout?40 cinder blocksBoth lowes and depot, back right up to them..no hiking and wagon train necessarily..
