Contrary to some of the negative comments. The owner was extremely polite, punctual, and professional. He even bumped my jewelry project up as I had strict time guidelines.The owners daughter is always so pleasant and sweet. This place rocks totally I have been dealing with s and s brothers for YEARS Im talking when they were in a small town called Charlestown. The owner and his daughter are some of the nicest pawn brokers you could ask for. They are fair, friendly, conservative, and just down right amazing people. To the people leaving negative reviews, yes your allowed your opinions and yes you have a voice make it heard however make it heard truthfully. Example...... If something dont go my way Im a little bit edgy.... However Im not going to bash a business because I didnt get my way in the toy section of target.... Come on guys if you know these people you all would agree.... Get in there and meet them and make some deals ... Hell may even make a friend or two. 💯+ Stars from me!

When dealing with the owner and is daughter on a pawn I felt as if I was in New York they were extremely rude and not friendly at all. I do not recommend this place. And if you do go in don’t try to make small talk because they are extremely rude and will talk over you. Again piss poor customer service.

We love going to S&S jewelry and watch repair. Everyone is extremely nice and welcoming. Recently, I got a shark ion robot vacuum cleaner on a great price and might I mention, it was brand new still in its box! My fiancé bought my engagement ring as well from S&S. It is the prettiest and most clear Diamond engagement ring (SI1 quality)! The staff will work with you and are very fair on their prices. We will be going back to buy in the near future! I can not say enough wonderful things about my experience here. I brought in a wedding band I wear every day from my mother who passed almost ten years ago and a necklace she got me the Christmas before she passed away. I explained how important these were to me and right away he told me the price for cleaning the ring which was more than reasonable, he also was honest with me about the necklace being a metal material that he may or may not be able to clean due to the chance of making it worse. He also explained that because this was the third time my chain broke it would be better to buy a new chain rather than just putting a new clip on. I was worried this would get expensive but he found me a beautiful silver chain for a price well under expectation. Both were done in a great time frame and I can not believe how amazing they look. Phenomenal work done by great people! I will be back for all of my jewelry repairs.

I promise this is the best place to not only buy jewelry but also get repairs as well. I bought a ring their and a few months later it broke. I took it over to have it fixed. I was full willing to pay for it because it wasn’t there fault it broke. But when I went to pick it up a few days later I wasn’t charged at all. I was so excited that people like them are still out there. I can’t say enough good things about these people. You are like family when you come in. Think you guys so much for everything you have helped me with.

***update***Just got back from the range and my Smith & Wesson 637-2 that I bought is amazing with no flaws! I mean obviously you need to know what you’re looking for when you buy a used gun but I would highly recommend the store. I looked at a lot of firearms there that were in great condition. Also, some in fair condition that would sell for less, you could take to a gunsmith to be checked/ repaired.Great customer service! Very friendly and patient as I asked to look at gun after gun! They have a large selection of different firearms for sale. If it wasn’t for the jewelry and the collectible coins, I could easily mistake it for a gun shop. After shopping around locally, I came back and settled on a beautiful, like new .38 S&W spl +p Airweight revolver. They worked with me because of my limited budget and we settled on a very fair price. I will be back and I highly recommend them when shopping for used guns or whatever else they may have! Great family owned store!

Ive been shopping at S&S Bothers since they were in Charlestown. I always look forward to shopping there first for jewelry. But I have also purchased tools. I go for the unique pieces that they always seem to have. I have also had custom jewelry made here and or adjusted. Top notch. Very friendly, knowledgeable staff and fair prices. If they dont have it out, just ask. They have lot. Very nice selection of guns and sports memorabilia.

Very nice looking facility has a lot of nice stuff, but the problem Ive had the few times I have been in there is that they are Trying to sell things at retail price, if I could give them a negative number I would because I made an offer on something and they shot it down without even trying to negotiate so this is not a pawn shop this is a retail store they are trying to get retail prices.

It is always a gamble buying something used ..but a decision I was most definitely okay with and recently bought a USED Browning safe for under 400! Brand new is over 1,000! I arrived at S&S Brothers Jewelry and Repair, Inc. to browse for video games. Upon browsing their selection, one game in particular caught my eye, NCAA Football 14 for PS3. The business had this video game priced at $21.99. I have been looking for this video game for a long time as the NCAA Football franchise has went out of production and this is the last year this type of game was produced; it is very rare. I asked a store associate, who I believe was the daughter of the owner, to retrieve the game from a case for me so I could proceed with my purchase. I inspected the game and everything seemed good to go. As we walked to the register, she went into the back room. She then comes out from the back room and asks my why this game is so special. I proceed to tell her that this is the last NCAA Football game ever made. She then tells me that I have just got a very good price on it and that there is nothing she can do. The owner, who was at the time working with another customer, interrupts and ask her how much the game goes for. She proceeds to tell him that the game goes for $80 on eBay. He is distraught by this and proceeds to tell me that he cannot sell the game to me at the advertised price. I explain to him that this is not common business practice and that it is very unethical to change the price on a game, much less a game inside of a pawn shop. The owner tells me that he cannot afford to pay someone to re-price games every week, even though he tells me that the game has been on the shelf for 3 years. They then begin to ignore me. I was very upset and dissatisfied with my experience from this business so I leave. After I leave and am able to collect my thoughts, I proceed to call the pawn shop back and tell them that I plan to report this incident to the BBB since they will not sell me the game at the advertised price. They explain to me that they do not care, tell me to do what I want, and tell me that it is the owners property and he can do what he wishes.
