This garage is the real deal for diesel trucks in Stuart. Had a 21 year old F-250 turbo diesel that had poor power and intermittent stalling that I was planning on driving across the country to Texas. Had the truck at another shop for ten days and they kept claiming the truck need a new PCM and a bunch of other work. Within 4 hours, Ken had the truck diagnosed, repaired and running great at a reasonable price. If you have a diesel that is in need of repair, this is the shop to go to!

Such wonderful service, so much better than I expected. I have been nothing but ripped off by pretty much every mechanic Ive ever had to go to and was expecting the same thing here but they were close and I was in need. Their service was topnotch and kept in communication, just to keep me up to date. When I picked up my van, the owner came out and beautifully explained what the problems were and what he did to fix it. I will absolutely go back to then WHENEVER I need a mechanic

Have you ever gone to a business before and after your transaction was over you breathed a sigh of relief? I only say that because there are not many places that are run like this one where the people truly know what theyre talking about and they care. Kenny took the time to look up bulletins on what the issues were with the vehicle and tried to make sure it was nothing simple that needed to just be tweaked. Charice was in great communication the whole time. And friendly, yes very friendly. I highly recommend and trust this great establishment.

Van wouldnt start shaffer dropped my gas tank and cleaned it and all the fuel lines havnt had a problem sence and it runs fine.

I have struggled to find a good mechanic and Shafer automotive was recommended by a customer of mine. We have had both cars in for repairs this week and both times the repairs were made in a timely manner and came in under the estimate originally given. One of the cars an Infinity QX56 had been to two other shops and they misdiagnosed the problem. Ken and his staff quickly determined the problem and the car is running awesome.

Having a problem with my Dodge I had changed at a few parts on the EVAP system went to shave for he uses all data it was quite informative even though my car is still down Im probably going to end up taking it to Shafer can over there seems to be quite knowledgeable and has a very good history in the area and it was right down the street from me so Im going to patronize Shaffer automotive at this time and the the young lady at the front desk is quite informative on her knowledge as you talk to her on the phone she gives you that level of confidence that you have called a very good automotive shop for your vehicle

Toyota corolla 1999 change the brake master cylinder cost me $300..part is 100 it ok . but labor $200 the guy done it in 1/2 hrs. look like mechanic labor cost more than medical Dr. cant take that so disappointed.not recommend this shop. BAD
