We are so, so happy we chose Able Closets-if I could give them 10 stars I would! Jim and his team were professional, listened to our wants, provided great suggestions. I had an idea for our laundry room and Jim provided an alternate solution that gave us even more space. The install was effortless and they were very careful to be neat.. They were on time and if they were going to be late they called! Who does that anymore? I highly recommend them for any closet organization.

I was in serious need of upgrading my closet from the typical wire closet that the builders put in when my home was new. Closet space was certainly not utilized to its fullest potential and we had reached our limit. Every moment working with Jim was very professional and after sharing my closet needs with him (multiple hanging areas, long hanging area for my girlfriends dresses, shelves, and a much needed shoe rack), the actual closet came out just as we discussed in the design. The delivery of the product to my house was on time to the minute, and everything was safely placed in my garage as I planned to install myself. I consider myself a fairly handy person and was able to install the closet myself (with a helper to hold the pieces while I measured and fastened), but would say if you have standard tools like screwdriver, drill with driver bits, tape measure, stud finder, etc., and understand a design/instruction sheet, you can install this yourself as well. The fitment of the materials was perfect down the the 1/8th of an inch we measured to. The closet went together very easily just like any furniture piece you would buy from IKEA or Target, everything was correctly labeled, and installation took about 3 hours with an extra set of hands to hold the pieces together while I tightened the hardware and attached the units to the walls. As you will see in the before and after pictures below (4 different views with before and after pictures next to each other), our closet is much more organized, and with all this extra space, now I dont have enough clothes to fill all the racks! Time to go shopping! Thanks to Jim and all of his closet professionals for helping me design my new closet and make the process very easy from start to finish, and I cant wait to work with them again on my two guest bedroom closets!

Able Closets (Jim and Eric) installed 3 bedroom closets and 2 laundry closets. The bedroom closet installation incorporated desk spaces for kids and a workstation for my home office. In addition, I had 2 laundry closets installed to accommodate luggage storage, vacuum, cleaning supplies and paper products. I am very satisfied with the work product and professional courtesy provided.

There ought to be an option for a negative review. Three years ago I had a custom closet installed in my master bedroom in Port St. Lucie. Afterwards I could not find many pieces of jewelry. All my friends said I misplaced these pieces and when I moved I would find them. Well I moved out of that home last Friday. Guess what. I did not find my jewelry. I have been convinced for three years that the installer stole my jewelry. I remember when he was leaving my house he had a strange guilty look on his face. My wish is whoever he gave these beautiful pieces of jewelry to both he and she should rot in hell!

Highly recommend Able Closets. Everyone was awesome and my closet looks beautiful. Maureen was a pleasure to work with as were Trey and Jason who did the installation. The quality of their products are great. There is really no need for anyone to shop anywhere else.

We had an outstanding experience with Able closets. After selling our house up north we had to utilize every closet inch we could. Our sales person, John Gentile, came to the rescue. He listened to our needs and came up with solutions for all of our clothing closets and kitchen pantry. He also recommended “ garage lofts” for additional storage in our garage. We went into his office where we saw sample closets and with the help of John and Donna we made additional tweaks. The installers did the job in one day. John has been back to our home and made some small adjustments. He did so with a smile on his face. Highly recommend John and Able Closets!!!

We are moving into a smaller home and storage and space were prime considerations as well as quality Able Closets did four closets and an office for us. We are thrilled with everything. Their pricing was competitive, their selection of materials was much better than then other two firms I researched. Donna and Maureen did a fabulous job of design, the final visit to verify all measurements was professional and reassuring and the installation team was GREAT! I would recommend them without any reservation!

I recently contacted Able closets to have additional shelves made for a closest they previously installed. After sending them a picture of the closet shelves they were able to look up the work that was previously done and said they did not need anything additional. Several days later the shelves were ready. This was my first experience with poor service from the company. After being unable to reach them by phone I drove out to the business 3 separate days during normal business hours. All 3 times the store was closed. I finally got ahold of someone through a personal phone number that was posted online and they were apologetic. They sent someone to deliver the shelves to my house. When I got home I immediately installed the shelves. The length and width are significantly off. The shelves do not fit my closets at all. After several phone calls they agreed to remake the shelves. I have driven there 2 times during normal business hours to bring a sample. I have called daily and left voice messages. Nobody is at the store and nobody returns my calls. So now I have 3 shelves that cost almost $80 which do not fit my closet and a ton of wasted time. I wish there was a way to add negative stars because I think 1 star is too generous. I will NEVER consider or recommend this company to anyone and I urge potential customers to do your due diligence before making the mistake I did of hiring them.

My husband and I really shopped around and did our research before choosing a company to design our bedroom closet. Ultimately, we chose Able Closets and couldn’t be any happier. They manufactured and installed an incredible master bedroom closet organizer system that is the envy of all my friends. I would HIGHLY recommend this company…they are EXCELLENT!

If you’re a customer that enjoys following up after no response with the contractor for the status of your order then look no further. After the contractor put the framing up in my closet, they didn’t come back for almost a month later cause products were on backorder. I received emails of other options for shoe fences to order from amazon, never even saw them after I picked them out. The shelving had paint chipped, drawers discolored and wouldn’t close all the way and the upgraded shoe fences couldn’t be attached to the shelves. Not to mention, I never got credited for the shoe fences that I originally picked out. When the last contractor came to fix some of the issues, he couldn’t fix the drawers that wouldn’t close agreed that the drawers were discolored and that someone would call me to discuss the plan to correct the issues...still waiting and that was over a month ago. The amount of unfulfilled promises, follow up, messages, emails and time was such a waste of time as for what cost over $3k. Two of my drawers still won’t close all the way and they are still discolored. At this point, if I could go back, I’d drive to IKEA to pick up the materials and put it together myself. I’m no contractor, but can guarantee i’d do a better job.

Moving in was a nightmare...boxes everywhere including the garage! Slowly the boxes dwindled down and I was seeing where the downside to buying a new home is apparent- there are no shelves, nothing on the walls in your garage to put all the tools, garden tools, glues, sprays, lubricants and so on! I interviewed the three main closet design companies in this area and ultimately it was John Gentile at Able Closets that not only was the most patient but who kept coming up with new ideas on how to accomplish certain tasks.Poor John must have tried to explain the Omni Track System to me a dozen times....but not having had the system before it was difficult to relate. Those heavy duty inserts that easily slide in and out of those tracks hold a couple hundred pounds. They are not designed to hold a couple hundred pounds on a continuous basis but when I tripped a few weeks ago crossing the threshold from the outside into my garage, my bad leg dragged a bit to much and next thing I knew I was instantly looking for purchase and what I grabbed was the tool holder the second tier of the Omni Track System--that rubberized prong that is designed to hold sledge hammers/axes/shovels, etc. thankfully only had some jumper cables on it and my right hand was able to gain substantial purchase to where I sort of did a harm slam into the wall and some tools. If not for the quality of that prong on the Omni Track system I could have easily smacked my head on the garage floor knocking out teeth/breaking a jaw/breaking an arm or both wrists or hitting my head enough just hard enough to crack my skull and perhaps no one would have found me in time. John Gentile is a knowledgeable sales tech who has extensive experience in installing these systems before becoming a full time sales tech; so he is speaking to you from his EXPERIENCE. He will measure numerous times and tell you if some item is going to fit or not and what alternatives there might be. You only need to tell John what you wish to store on the wall; the size, length of your workbench; whether you want a vise or not, etc. John will return with several examples or perhaps just one if you were definitive with him. Those computer drawing show your garage w/its exact measurements and where you can place items and not ding your car door. Unlike one of the other companies that wants to sit down with you and make out the drawings...seriously? Like I have a couple hours to sit around and doodle drawings that you should know cold just by seeing my garage! Thankfully John felt very confident in knowing what I needed and said he would return at weeks end with completed drawings. He let me look at them/study them over the weekend-no push for a deposit or sign here. He came back the following Tuesday and I signed the papers-no adjustments were needed and I was pleased w/the price. Then a few days later the owner stopped by just to get a measurement and he was extremely friendly, professional and took obvious pride in the design John had provided me.A lady called a day after that and booked a date and time and then when the install date came up the workers began around 10AM and were done by 3PM or so.The job they did matched the drawing John provided me to a T. And I do not recommend doing pull ups on the various pieces they provide you for the Omni Track but I can assure you it saved me a nasty fall.
