I luckily found this place and picked up a beautiful vintage English Sea Kayak (McNulty Huntsman) from Native water Sports (needs a little TLC, but will be awesome, Im sure). First off, Ted (Owner/Operator) is a wonderful guy to work with: Honest, friendly, knowledgeable. The shop is loaded with great product at great prices: everything from rentals to sales, lessons, etc. This will be my go to place for gear going forward - hands down.

Ted is the man! We ordered 2 Vibe Sea Ghosts from Native and spoke with Ted about our ideas. His knowledge set us up with everything to hit the water right from the start. Unfortunately, due to the pandemic, our order was delayed from the manufacturer. Fortunately, Ted took it upon himself to source our yaks EVEN SOONER and got us on the water. If you want to have fun on the water with the right stuff, Native is where it’s at!

Amazing customer service. We really enjoyed the buying experience, and all the support to select the right kayaks and giving advice on how to put those kayaks on our roof rack.

Helped me install the Thule j hook kayak racks. Taught me the knots, set the kayak up, even tried to save me some money on a cheaper option.Big fan of local kayak shops. What a great experience purchasing something we have never purchased before. They went through the different options with us trying to fit our needs. No Hard Sell, no upsell just listening to what we want and making it fit. Although we spent more than we were expecting we got what we needed and are thankful for the guidance. I would highly recommend them for beginners and experts.

Ted was great! I bought the wrong type of kayak for my wife last year and Ted helped me right the wrong. He listened to what she had to say and pulled out several kayaks for her to sit in until she found the perfect one for her. Bought a new CD Kestrel and she loves it. Ted is fantastic!! You have heard the expression you dont sit in a kayak...you wear it. Got to have perfect three point contact with your boat: feet, thighs, back. Ted will work tirelessly with you until you find the exact boat which makes you purr. Ted gives you the best and most realistic demo you will ever get anywhere. Eddyline kayaks are top-of-the-line. I have been to ALL the biggest shops. Ted gives the best service and experience.

Ted and his wife Kristen were so incredibly helpful. My partner and I recently got kayaks and had no idea how we were going to transport them with our small car. Ted researched what was the best system for our specific model car *before we even got there*, and then he helped us install the system and demonstrated how to attach our kayaks.It’s that kind of above and beyond customer care that makes me want to support small businesses like this. Great place to purchase a kayak. We bought two Eddyline kayaks from them. Ted is very knowledgeable and honest. He explains everything and there is no rush. He went out of his way to make sure we were satisfied. If you are considering buying a kayak or paddle board would recommend you stop in and talk with them.

My husband and I spent a wonderful afternoon kayaking with Ted. He was easy to deal with and willing to work around our conference schedule. We saw dolphins while kayaking. If we are ever back in the area I would definitely go out with him again.
