Outstanding work. Mr. Howard did an remarkable job with replacing my windshield. Mr. Howard is extremely polite and was very explanatory about  servicing my vehicle. My appointments was at 10, and he was done by 1pm. It was perfect timing. I would definitely recommend this business to anyone who wants good quality service.

I definitely would recommend Central Auto to friends and family. I took my car there to get my headliner replace. I was given a great price to get the whole headliner in my car replaced. Howard was not only professional and reasonable, he did an amazing job replacing my headliner and he took his time finding the right color or the closest color to match my interior and it looks great. Howard the owner was great, friendly, knowledgeable. Instead of charging me, he went out of his way to check if there was any recall with my sunroof manufacturer, and voila, there was a recall. So instead me paying about $400-500 dollars, he got it all replaced fixed under warranty.Definitely recommending this place to friends and family.

Went to get window tints removed from front windows so i can pass inspection. I was so skeptical on trying places in the area since im new in town. But Howard was great!! he got it done so fast and price was very reasonable. super recommend this place!

I would not use his services & wouldn’t even give him one star. He changed my rear window. I paid and left the shop but couple of weeks later discovered window does not go up/down properly and it makes a squicky noise I went back him to get it fixed and he wouldn’t honor it. The headliner upholstery on my 2010 Volkswagen GTI detached and sagged due to the humidity, necessitating replacement. I called around and got some astronomical prices, and lots of places that said they didn’t do that kind of work. Then I called Central Auto.The price to replace the headliner upholstery was awesomely reasonable, the scheduling was quick and efficient, and the job was done in a single day to perfection. Howard, the owner, answered and returned every phone call and personally handled the transaction through to the end. Can’t say enough good things about the experience.

One of their managers (or owner?) Howard, really helped me replace my rear auto glass after a hurricane hit Jersey City. When the part ordered was delayed he personally went out of his way to pick that up to get the job done on time. Really appreciated that attention to customer service. He quickly fixed the broken glass to my car as I street park and no option to park it as is with the broken window which was broken into. Ive been here twice. The first time was for the convertible top on one car, the second was to re-upholster the ceiling of my other car. Both times I left happy with the price and the finished product. Howard runs the show and is friendly and knowledgeable. He provided me with a couple referrals on other work that I plan on getting done, which I appreciate, and I wouldnt hesitate to go back to him for work a third time.

Fantastic Service from Howard. He replaced the top on my 12 year old convertible. I was told dropping it off after 2pm on Thursday that it would be ready Monday, but Howard called at 11 am on the next day and told me that hed worked on it late Thursday and it would be ready at 1pm. Less than 24 hours for a full convertible top replacement? Come on. The best. I would tell anyone that needed upholstery/glass work to go here first.

I had a good experience with the autoglass company. Someone broke into the passenger glass and that (lucky) day we had a rain forecast. Owner was gracious enough to put the car in his shop even though it was after hours. Services were great.

I went to this location for my car glass and ended changing my radio to a navigation as well. I trusted he would be proficient due to his great online reviews but unfortunately I was wrong. He did an average job on the window, for some reason every time it closes I have to press and hold the latch in order for it to remain shut. He ruined the dashboard while inputting the new navigation system, and not only that, the navigation he installed did not function properly. The Bluetooth broke out every time the car moved, the usb did not work and the navigation was super delayed. He charged me close to a thousand dollars, 245 for the window and about 700 for the radio and installation. I had him refund me 300 and went to professional sound and security in jersey city where they were able to switch out the radio for an amazing pioneer AVH1400nex car play and only payed 400 for everything. DON’T GO TO THIS GUY, HE DOES NOT KNOW WHAT HE IS DOING.

Way Overpriced window tinting . Its not rocket science. Got ot done up the block at the stereo shop for $100 cheaper and no problems whatsoever for years.

They smeared glue all over my upholstery and, more critically, over my VIN plate and, as a result, I am now unable to register my car for license plates. I have to incur the expense of having another company redo their botched work, or my car will not be street legal once my temporary permit expires.In my repeated attempts to rectify this issue with Central Auto I have been stonewalled-- they do not answer their phones, call me back, or respond to my emails.Sloppy, careless work, above market prices, and they dont care one bit about their customers. Avoid this place at all costs!
