Amazing craft beer selection. Prices are steep, but I expected that. The guys working were cool. Highly recommend.

This is my go-to home brew store. They’re very friendly, the owner Kendall is very knowledgeable about brewing and always friendly and willing to give advice. They also have an impressive selection of craft beers.

Cant speak about their wine or spirits collection, but I get my CO2 container refills from The Thirsty Quaker every few weeks (major carbonated water addiction) and I have no complaints. I appreciate that unlike other places around here I dont have to sit & wait for the refill (they just swap it out) or buy my own CO2 container as they lend you one and I get my deposit back anytime, likely when I move out of Jersey. The employees are always helpful and courteous & I save a bunch over getting my refills online.

Great selection of beers (and ciders, and decent selection of liquors - not where Id go for wine, but theyre not trying to be), super friendly and helpful staff. Im pretty much like a kid in a candy store every time Im in here; I might go looking for one specific thing and find it... but also find four other beers I just have to try xD

They have a great variety and are always switching it up! I love that they carry smaller brands not the same basic brands you can get anywhere.

Been twice, and both times the staff were helpful, patient and knowledgable about recommendations based on probably contradictory preferences on my end lol They were flexible in giving me singles out of packs too. I was in Maine for a few days and had a unique and uncommon local beer I really liked, and found it at Thirsty Quaker a week later, and impressively saw it was the exact same price. Keep up the good work guys!

I frequent the thirsty Quaker regularly and find the location perfect, the selection perfect and if there is something I want and they are out of stock they can get it. Vast selection and decent prices.

Everyone needs to come here. They have such a great variety in a small space of craft beers as well as some wines and spirits as well. My boyfriend and I love comming here to see all the unique finds! Our top choice to get alcohol in the area.They also have a good amount of home brew supplies. I do not do home brew but they make me want to try it! Our first time in the were harvesting hops from the back yard at the counter! They also allow us to bring our dog in which is always a plus, they even have dog treats. Love love love it here.

The Thirsty Quaker has a good selection of beers and wines, and the staff is generally helpful. They do some nice tastings every once and a while, as well. My only gripe is that they have a limited selection of cold beers in styles that I enjoy, which is sometimes all I want when I pop in after work. I know its a minor detail, but its nice not having to plan ahead to have a cold beer of my choice at a moments notice.

This place is awesome. They have everything you need to brew your own beer, and a very helpful staff. The last time I checked in they were looking to get a growler refill set up. Not sure if the city gave them the O.K. yet but regardless, amazing selection of beer! BRAVO!

Great beer collection. I was able to get Jai Alai IPA founders all day, florida cracker and some good collection.

Establishment has a solid selection and a good location, but the staff are almost always off. For example, during my last visit I purchased some wine that Id also purchased during a previous visit. The cashier said something like still (x dollar amount), just like last time in a very judgmental tone. Regardless of why Im purchasing the wine (for a dish Ive been trying to perfect for weeks for my husband before his grandma visits), I do not appreciate my purchase bagged with a free sample of condescension. Youre selling alcohol, do not assume anything about your clientele if theyre frequent patrons. Pretty much the norm here. I will not be back.

A truly unique spot. This is a full service liquor store with a focus on a diverse selection of craft beers as well as a very solid whisky selection. On top of that, the Quaker offers everything any homebrewer could ask for from the beginner to the seasoned brewer. Definitely check this place out.

I love craft beer. Ive been around to all the liquor stores in the area and this place has a great selection. I heard of this place of a while ago before they opened in the fall and Ive been anticipating it since. Totally pleased in the end. Craft beer is their main thing and man they got a ton. Lots of breweries and specialty beers that other liquor stores dont get in stock. The owner goes out of his way to update the website with every shipment of new beer!! Super friendly owner and he knows his stuff.I made my way to the back of the shop and took a peek in the grain room. Wall to wall grain bins. Im not a homebrewer but its cool to know I can walk over to the Thirsty Quaker and get all the supplies I need to make my first beer.They got a parking lot as well. I dont know how that got that in JC.

This brew shop is great because its also a liquor store that includes a nice selection of ciders. We hiked many blocks to see what they had, and we walked out with 2 bags worth of goods and alcohol. My only problem is that its not closer to my house.

Great selection of beer, wine, and spirits. Extremely helpful and knowledgable staff who even give lessons on making beer, wine, and mead. They have ample parking and often hold events (either small tastings in the store or larger community events) as well, so its good to check on their Facebook page to see whats going on if youre not limited to what time you can visit.

These guys have relatively small but eclectic selection of beer, wine, and liquor. I would go to them for their beer over wine selection which seems to be their speciality. They also have home brew kits and cater to enthusiasts. This isnt the place to go pick up Coors Light.

Just called asking for help finding muslin bags for steeping the grain. I dont live near them, so I cant visit as they are out of the way. But I asked if they knew what kind of store might also sell muslin bags - preferably closer. Snotty girl who picked up the phone replied, Oh, you might want to try this thing called Google, etc... Condescending and smart-ass reply to a potential customer equals 1-star review and not even a chance of a visit from me ever. The opposite of helpful. Avoid.
