This is the best Sears up north! This store is huge with tons of inventory for the ladies. Apparels for the men. The only thing that kinda sucks is having to pay to park in the garage! That’s okay cause it’s Jersey City so that’s expected! They even have a Auto Center! How much longer will this place continue to stay open! Jersey City lost the Kmart but this Sears is above and beyond. You have two levels and the employees are friendly!

I contacted the Sears Jersey City to try to obtain a receipt for a microwave that I had purchased there and both the sales representative and the manger were extremely rude to me and the manager hung up on me. I tried to call back to explain and they hung up before I said anything twice. I don’t understand how Sears considers this acceptable behavior from their employees. They should not be employed with or representing Sears in any manner. Horrible service!

Worse company in all of these United States. Do not do any business with this company. If you have too, make sure whatever you’re buying is physically in the store for you to take with you. The workers are incompetent and their POS system and back office is outdated and will loose your entire orders; should you have to return or refund or have an item delivered. Buyer beware in the highest degree. I hope the company goes out of business forever.

Open for very nice clearance sale. In got some causal pants for $9.99 and rubeak jeans for 50% off - $15. Good great and looks great. Most clothing items were less than $15 and great clearance with less than $5 on XL and plus size clothes. No trial rooms so be sure what size u need. Will be visiting the site again soon..

Seems like the store didn’t have as much as it use to in it. They were closing out Lands End. The employees were friendly. And they were helpful as well. Seems like the clothes aren’t as cute and stylish as they used to be.

I was so sad when I saw the Store in this Mall by Jersey City. I am from Morris County and Sears was closed more than a year ago.Any way it was so empty and lonely store compared with years ago, not much merchandise and it was a sad feeling seeing this great store falling down in the market. It surprised me and I bought a pair of sucks just like the old times, good quality and cheap.

Not all product from all department present here in the store, disappointed to see no sunglasses available in Sears. Also the store timings are so wierd, it closes at 6PM seriously. Only thing I am glad to see the store is not so congested, all racks, tables are placed with ample distance. Thanks for that.

Only way in is from inside of the mall... Glad I parked in the north garage... No public restrooms leaky ceilings... Place is in pretty bad shape overall but they still have a good bit of merchandise left at least.

My family and I stayed at the westin for a weekend getaway. We picked jersey city because of the mall, lots of places to eat and walk around to see the scenery. I was looking forward to checking out sears and getting some deals. Im assuming due to the pandemic I didnt see alot of workers on the floors. For the appliance section, there was not alot of items to choose from. There was lots of empty shelves. For the bedding section, there soiled and stained display mattresses. For the clothing department, I noticed lots of ceiling openings and you can tell there was water damage. In spite of it all, I was able to find a few outfits at discounted prices. There was only one register with 2 ladies working. Before I could settle on the line, the worker said, sorry we are only accepting cash payments because our systems are down and has been down for a month. I was very disappointed because I had took time to pick out stuff and to run around to find an ATM machine was not happening! The worker said I could leave the items with her at the register but out of the shadows a floor worker rudely came and said, The clothes do not belong there! I have to go back upstairs to put them back! So I kindly told her to have a nice day because clearly she was not!🤣🤣🤣 Hopefully, things will get better for Sears as time goes on but I took my spend power to Kohls!

Worst experience online shopping in probably a decade. Ordered an air conditioner that was described at 20 inches wide, they sent one that was 24 inches wide (and therefore didnt fit) and then refused to pick the item back up.

Went to the store to look at refrigerators. We had to check a few things before we ordered one so the guy there told us to call and he can take care of things when we decided what could be done. Well, we have tried over and over and NO ONE there picks up a phone. We have left numerous messages and NO ONE has returned our call. Very disappointed in Sears. Gave it 2 stars because the man was friendly. Otherwise it would be one

This store does not provided Customer Service and when you request a Supervisor they do not want to be bother instead the pass you on to a salesperson that can not answer any questions or resolved any complaints or problems. Instead your are left aggravated and annoyed.Now Im calling Customer Service to cancel a repair appointment after I cancelled and did not requested to reschedule I received a phone call from Sears confirming an appointment I have already cancel. To make matters even worse none of the Customer Service Agents are on the same paige you receive different contradicting information and mind you when calling CS you get a recording advising this call is being recorded and you call again a different CS agent request to read comments that supposedly the previous agent was to record on your file of course there is nothing recorded. I WAS A FAITHFUL AND STEADY CUSTOMER I PURCHASED EVERYTHING FROM SEARS....NO MORE.SEARS HAS BECOME FROM THE BEST COMPANY TO THE WORSE COMPANY IN CUSTOMER SERVICE.Ps I REQUESTED To Be TAKEN OFF THE MAILING LISTS AND THEY STILL SEND EMAILS dont purchase Protection agreement Sears will rep off and if I could rate you will be getting zero star

A few things that sears can make to cover its loss and attract customers..I think mangers dont go to stores in person. even though sears filled bankruptcy, store can still sell and earn customers. I recognize that, store is quite and calm, it doesnt make you feel that you shop. play good music. second price check machine didnt work at all. which caused that many customers leave the goods even though it is cheap, this is leading to the next issue which is, the price tag is not the actual price. it is usually higher. so consumer chooses a good, she/ he goes to check the price because the price on the tag is high, machine doesnt work, few cashier are working. which ends up that your customer leave the store....

Sears customer service is the worst. i brought the floor model refrigerator and i was suppose to get delievered in two days. the third day i called sears customer service and the supervisor told me my order was cancel. i informed her i did not cancel any order and yall still got my money and didnt inform or call me to tell me my order was cancel. the supervisor told me i had to call the store and speak to a store manager. i called the store and no one answer the phone. so i went to the store and raised holy hell and i want my money back. SEARS ARE THE WORST. THEY NEED TO CLOSE DOWN

Average at best. Cared about the store as much as a bankrupt store did. I had more problems with their online stuff and with no delivery. Cost me more than it should for a ping pong table which they sold to me as the incorrect item. Different colorand different mm thickness. Ridiculous the extra cost to be able to transfer this for their incompetence.

I have been calling for 3 days straight to follow up on my wedding rings and if they are ready for pick up since it’s been over a month. I live over 30 minutes away and am trying to not waste my time and nobody picks up the phone. I have called every department and no one picks up the phone. The store isn’t even that busy this is so frustrating.

No salespeople on the floor to help. I needed a straight edge stud finders and their tool section was very empty and no one to help customers. Most of the store was empty of people. The only person I saw was a female employee with a nasty attitude.

When I was visiting last time there was no air conditioning and we had to leave due to the heat. I had a list of things to purchase but it was too uncomfortable. The store has a good shoe and clothing departments. There is also a very good optical department. I hope they fix the air conditioning. I would like to be able to shop there.

Brought in a ring for a repair we’ve have a warranty on in and have not gotten a call in over a month if it’s done. Called several times and it’s almost impossible to call and speak with anyone. I live 30 minutes from sears so it’s not like it’s right outside my back door you pay for parking etc it’s inconvenient to go in and see what’s going on with the ring. This is not acceptable to not have a replacement ring within this time for something that has a warranty.

Specifically went to this store to try on suits for my young two boys as they were on sale. When we finally choose the style and size we liked the cashier refused to honour the online price which was 40% off. I told her I could simply order it now on my phone and pick up the same suits and the discounted price. She refused to assist or help me and was more interested in selling me a Sears credit card. Awful service and not surprised the company is going down the pan if thats the customer service they provide!

Very unpleasant experience. The place was being torn apart. The workers were no help. We asked for a bathroom for my daughter and the were all out of service supposedly. We got sent down to the tire service. Even then we had to wait for an escort. Horrible experience and horrible service.

The parking on the side is a trap, it does not have clear singe and apparently is only for the car services sears offers and not its actual customers. Our car not only got towed but we witnessed multiple other cars get towed its a total trap.

Their shoe dept is pretty good. It always feels like theyre on the verge of shutting down since parts of store appear empty. Theyve moved their registers 3X since Ive been coming here for shoes. I usually go after work so theres never much of a line. I also bought a $20 sheath dress from here which fit me so well and worked for the occasion.

WE ORDERED A BILLIARDS TABLE TWO WEEKS AGO .One its a 70$ service fee and we still havent gotten the right delivery. Two times weve been delivered just the legs of the pool table.What are we going to do with the legs of a pool table, without the TABLE it self?Not only have my parents contacted customer service more than three times, we also went to the store ourselves to make sure that our order came correct.If I can rate it 0 stars I would.Dont order from this Sears.

This woman (possibly named Gloria) & Peter were the absolute worst when it came to customer service. Let’s start with “Gloria”, Spanish speaking who I thought would have a better understanding in the service my grandma needed since I was having a difficult time explaining it. Peter informed her that my grandmother and I needed assistance, she pretended we were not standing there and had a completely different conversation with Peter while we waited. Then Peter brought it to her attention once more and she had the nerve to suck her teeth in, rolled her eyes as I’m watching her and then proceeds to “help”. Completely nasty attitude doesn’t offer any solutions and walks away to use her phone. She simply brushed off that we were there and had the “that’s not my problem” attitude.Peter now very heavy English accent was not understanding me as I asked questions he would not give me the answers according to the question. He had 0 knowledge on anything. When I asked to speak with the manager who I hoped would shed some light, Malika never showed up. She called back on the phone and whatever she said Peter translated it and it made no sense. No one offered ANY HELP. Complete waste of time. They were so unprofessional and I cannot believe they are even employed there!

They might as well be on welfare; they’re just there to collect their money and could not care less about their work. RUDE RUDE RUDE. There is one cashier open in the whole store. Waited 4 hours for an oil change. Left our number and went shopping in the mall. Waited for 3 hours and went back to check the progress. Were told that they didnt have the filter in stock. Waited an additional hour and finally got the vehicle. They could have called us once they knew the filter wasnt in. Oh well.

Very pleased with my experience at Sears Auto Center in Jersey City NJ...I originally came in with my 2015 Volkswagen GTI for a slow leaking tire. They evaluated my entire car and the tires and I was kindly and professionally greeted by the Manager David and he told me that my tires have cracking and should be replaced..David went above and beyond, contacted the tire manufacturer and was able to get me a warranty credit towards the purchase of 4 new tires. Extremely satisfied with my experience and becuase of Davids efforts Im a Sears customer for life.

Totally horrible experience in the tools department and this was not the first time. I visited the store today and as I waited for my wife I decided to browse the tools. Ultimately I ended up picking up a few items that were on sale. 1 particular item at the register came up full price despite having the exact same description as on the sale tag. The salesperson tried to bs me saying that price was for another item, and I assure you that I know the difference between a level and a square. After asking for the Manager, she comes with an unpleasant face and started speaking in a berating manner to me about the situation. I dont recommend this branch because of the service here.

This is an absolutely horrible company. If I could rate them zero stars I without a doubt would. My refrigator stopped working and Sears was called to come service the refrigator. We have a Sears Home Warranty. First I was told it would take over a week for them to come look at the refrigator. YES OVER A WEEK. Just screw all of my groceries right? Then I was able to get it down to five days. When the repair man (from A&E Factory Services) finally comes, he does not have the parts necessary to fix the fridge. You would think theyd come prepared with the parts necessary, but no. Then he lies and tells me that would take 3 days for the parts to arrive. It took over a week for the parts to arrive. After the parts arrived, Sears was contacted again and they told me that there was still another part coming. This was false, all of the parts had arrived already. How they could tell me that a part was still coming when they, from their end, can TRACK a package I do not know. Every customer service representative that I spoke to was clearly incompetent and lacking the skills necessary to complete their job. Do not order your appliances from here and most definitely do not rely on their warranty as they will take as long as they want to fully service you. Order your appliances from another company. They should have been liquidated when they filled for bankruptcy.

It has good variety of mens/ladies/kids clothing. Sometimes there is good sale (discounts) on clothes. It has electronic items as well. The items are very well organized.
