I like to consider myself a connoisseur of donuts. I travel far for donuts. I took my nephew on a college tour nearby and was super excited to try out The LoDG, being that I’ve been following them for a while. We live about 2 hours away. We ordered every donut they had on the menu minus the tea donut. I was not impressed whatsoever. In order, these were the best. 1. Glazed 2. Little chickys. The rest we honesty both took bites out and returned to the box. To each their own.Will say the donuts do look amazing though.

My kids love these donuts. The Lodg creates a new menu each month encouraging you to visit regularly to see what’s new! Plus, they have very cute decor.Donuts made on premises so it’s always fresh.Update: they have added a keto/gluten free donut.Did I mention their barista coffees are delish?Great customer service, too.

Amazing experience. They have 7 flavors, we bought one of each. Some of the donuts are prepared when you order including the glaze and the toppings. Vegan donuts are great as well. The glazed regular donut is out of this world. Love the glaze on that one. It is a small place but the people are great and smiling. I am sure in better times they will be crowded but today there were not too many people there.

Donuts were flavorful. Coffee was VERY good, way better than expected. Owner is a sweetheart. Her energy and friendliness is enough to get people going here. Definitely recommend as a quality place away from Hoboken with a monthly changing menu. Love the creativity here.

I do not like donuts much but had to try once! Was pleasantly surprised with the taste. Tried orange cream donut and monkey Nutella - both were really really good. Coffee was okay.Will certainly be coming back for donuts.

So today my family and I tried every single doughnut on the menu. We were really excited to try the LoDG as were huge fans of doughnuts and we really really wanted to like this place. However, the doughnuts just really weren’t good - they were all pretty dry and the most of the flavors were just ok, some were bad. The doughnuts weren’t all horrible but in my opinion just weren’t worth the calories.I was very hesitant to write this review because I like to support small businesses but at the same time I think it’s valuable to share an honest opinion as I rely on such reviews myself. With that said, I encourage you to try this place on your own and form your own opinion. Honestly, they could’ve just been having an off day and what we received isn’t representative of their usual quality.

Delicious and decadently creative donuts with a range of flavors and textures for all palettes. To top it off, friendly and engaging customer service. The coffee is also pretty good, too.

These are hands down the best donuts Ive had. The rotation of different donuts is unlike anything Ive ever seen and keeps you coming back to try all the new kinds. Staff is friendly and accommodating, happy to help and answer any questions. We look forward to our next trip in June!

These Donuts are a “hole”nother donut!!! These were brought into our salon and all disappeared in minutes! If you want a fresh, different than the normal “hole in dough” donut, then go here or have them delivered! You won’t regret it, only not getting enough...

Best doughnuts around. Just moved here and have been wanting to try this place. So glad I did. The bacon and cheesecake doughnut is amazing. And they are huge for the price. Will definitely go back here.Also the shop is very clean and only serving from outside the store front to maintain social distancing. Felt very safe going there.

Ahhh-mazing!!! May be as good if not better than Doughnut Plant and obviously so much fresher because theyre right here in the Heights. They even have vegan and keto doughnuts. I think its the first time in 2 years my husband who eats keto has had a doughnut. I will be back!!!!

Im not a huge fan of donuts, but I have to say these donuts live up to the hype! 🥰 The flavor combinations are creative and delicious. Plus, they have great coffee and the staff are super sweet. Excited to have LoDG in the neighborhood!

Wow wow wow!!! This place is absurd...how do they even come up with the flavors?! I am amazed, my palate says thank you! Lol best donuts Ive probably ever had honestly. Their dough is just so fluffy and light. The vegan doughnuts I mean whattt! Im not even vegan and that cocoa valencia one was just melt in your mouth heaven. And I cant end without directing all my love towards that flan donut. Seriously. Keep it up guys. 7 stars from me.

Not enough attention given to the doughnut base. Too much attention on unique or outlandish flavor combos. The doughnuts themselves are dry and flavorless. The icing and flavoring by contrast is cloyingly sweet. I had 4 flavors and didn’t like any of them. Wish there were some solid classics offered here.

This place is great! Phenomenal donuts. Very creative flavors. You may have to wait as they can be crowded, and many donuts are made to order. Even so, it doesnt take too long. I absolutely recommend this place.

I dont get this place at all. The Donuts are ok, about what you would expect for the price. The place itself is utterly charmless and obtuse, it looks like somewhere to get an STD test. Weird.

The donuts were so dry and grainy. I bought the guava, the chocolate matcha, vegan rose donut and glazed donut. The only donut that was decent was the glazed donut. I was so excited to finally see a donut place that made a guava and cream cheese donut since I can never find that combination. They should consult with Krispy Kreme Puerto Rico for a good guava/cheese donut.

I went there to treat myself to some donuts for my birthday in October and I met Eddie he is the most friendly and cordial person! He shares ownership and he shows his appreciation for you supporting his business. They have vegan donuts and they were delicious and I loved everything I tried!!!I recently went back there the beginning of November to buy some donuts for my neighbors. I wanted to bring something different to show my sympathy for the loss of their family member and they loved those donuts and I bought some for myself. I guess I have a new donut spot and once again it was a pleasure talking with you Eddie!!! See you soon!😁
