Weve been super busy..anyway, let me say that my husband and I looked for about a month before I found the vehicle I really wanted at the price I was comfortable with paying & found a dealer that didnt treat us like we were invisible! Its been a couple yrs since Ive purchased a vehicle and I cannot believe how rude and unprofessional car salesmans are, at so many dealerships! I walked out of 2 other dealerships because of how we were treated!Did I mention really liked the vehicles,But because of the way we were treated I was NOT about to give our hard earned money to such a rude salesmans ..AND we drove 2 hours to purchase this vehicle ...TennMotors has some really amazing workers!SUPER Friendly! I’ve got to say this was the best car buying experience I’ve had. Rob and Dylan were phenomenal. They were able to help me every way possible. My wife and I were in a pinch to find a new van to replace our family vehicle and were having a difficult time finding what we were looking for. TennMotors had three prospective vans that would have met our needs (more than any other lot we had visited, might I add). The one I was particularly interested in wasnt on the lot when we arrived but the dealership owner was able to access it and make it available to view in a very short amount of time. In March I purchased a 2012 Toyota Tundra. I had been searching for trucks for weeks and had horrible experiences with other dealerships. TennMotors made sure I was very satisfied and comfortable with my purchase. They took extra care of my needs and wants in a vehicle. They really look out for their customers and give them the best services. Highly recommended to purchase through them. I know I will go back if ever needing another vehicle.

I had several bad instances with car dealers in the area, and a friend suggested I go to see TennMotors. Thought the people here was nice until I had owned the car for about 2 weeks and everything has gone sideways. Had windows stop working and sensors going out everyday.Also had a friend by a car from their Jonesbrough lot right after I got my car from the jc lot and is having troubles with the engine.

Best car buying experience I have ever had. I needed to be in a truck that day and they made it happen for me. Dillion was extremely friendly and not at all pushy. The manager made me aware 9f all the car fax and sold me a very reasonable warranty on my 8 yr old truck. He made it very clear that if I had any problems at all with the truck that he wanted to know first, he was very sincere about it.They gave me a very fair price with out any haggling. I will absolutely make the 2 hour drive to Tenn Motors for all of my future buying needs.

A one star isnt a low enough star wish I could go lower. Went down to look at a Pathfinder they had on the lot. Got down there around 12 oclock, drove it, got all the paper work started, they told us the computer went down that they would call us when they got back up and going again. I started having a funny feeling so I sent a message to see if they found out anything. They sold the Pathfinder and never called us. They said we wasnt approved asked to speak to someone over the financial to find out why we wasnt approved told it would be a few days because he wasnt in that department. Wouldnt give us a number to call said they would have to send in a referral. Still have to wait a few days.

I purchased a 2012 Camry from them back in September of 2020. I waited a long time to write a review because I have owned 7 used vehicles in my life, all used. I have learned that sometimes things don’t show up immediately. I will say purchasing from them was so simple, and they really worked with me considering I was coming from Boone and didn’t get off work until 5pm. They were always professional and patient!! I have had my Camry 6 months now.....there is a jack and a spare tire, all engine parts still work, as long as I maintain, and there are no cockroaches!!! Update as of October 2021I have now bought 2 cars from this dealership. I stand by by first review of 5 stars because they were super respectful and eager to help. I found a few things I questioned about the car and asked about them and the dealership addressed everything in a timely manner to ensure I was not only satisfied but again had peace of mind when buying a used car. I am not one to write reviews but I do believe in giving credit where credit is due.The 2013 Dodge Dart a was for my daughter-in-law and not only do I feel at peace knowing I helped her get a good car but I also have the satisfaction of knowing the car will take care of her in her future travels. Not many dealerships take the time to take care of their customers and address their concerns while still keeping the price honest and fair. HA how convenient they don’t remember me all of a sudden. I can tell you the exact date we purchased from you. It was my daughter’s 7th birthday in Jan 2020.We bought a car from them & had to have in the garage every 2 months for the 1st 9 months we owned it. Then we left it in a garage for over 4 months to be fixed. NEVER EVER buy from these people. Their so called 12 month warranty is a scam. I’ve recently found out they aren’t even affiliated with the BBB. I’m still not sure if the car is fixed. The 1st mechanic refused to work on it a 2nd time saying I’d be better off to buy a new car even though I’d just bought this one. Said it would $3000 or more to fix it. I guess in a couple months I’ll update my review to let people know whether or not it’s truly fixed. I can’t afford $3000 on a car I’m still making payments on

So this will be a rather lengthy review, Let me start with saying that Steve and Martin were both very polite nice people and this isnt a bash on them. On 9/6/18 i bought a 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited with the 5.7L Hemi and optional QD2 drivetrain for what i considered relatively cheap (sub 5k after taxes out the door).Now I bought it knowing there were some cosmetic/minor problems;the onboard nav system was non functional and was replaced by Tenn motors with a nice deck and i was given the non functional unit with the vehicle.All four internal door handle wells were cracked and the drivers rear door handle is missing though i do have a part for it that was in the center console,the drivers seat had some tears and the sunglasses holder in the headliner doesnt open and close properly.cheap/old windshield wipers,only one key for the vehicle,all five tires were in need of replacement.minor rust/dents and dings/ slightly fogged passenger side headlightObviously minor stuff that justified the vehicle being about 1700$ below KBB for a 184K on the odometer jeep. Here is where i made several rookie mistakes.Mistake one, I did not take the vehicle to a shop and pay for my own inspection of the vehicle nor did i look over the inspection report from Doyles tire who is half a block behind Tenn motors. this has led to my sub 5K $ jeep costing me closer to 8k $.To date I have had to replace;the Steering gear assembly,valve cover gasket (engine valve cover gasket leaking into head with blowback into air filter).Lower ball joint front steering assembly X2,rack and pinion assembly, control arm and assembly,the Battery ( had AAA check the battery and electrical system when i wouldnt start AAA determined the Recycled battery in it had no capacity to retain a charge)Spark plugs and wires ( this beast of mine takes 16 spark plugs by the way...)the Upper radiator hose ( previous owner used non distilled water in the system leading to a slow heat induced leak in the hose)Still to do;a possible transmission pan leak (currently waiting on pay day to have that re inspected now that the other leaks have been dealt with in the hope that the transmission leak will be easier to identify now that its not covered in other leaking fluids)also still to do is diagnose/repair non functional windshield washer fluid system for front windshield.My second mistake was based off the first, had i not made mistake NO.1 i would have negotiated a lower price for the vehicle instead of blindly agreeing to the shown price thinking i was getting a great deal.My advice if you are buying with Tenn Motors is to take the vehicle you are interested to a shop you trust (all my work was done by Porters tires who is across the street from Doyles tires approximately 1000 feet from Tenn Motors) and have the shop of your choice do a thorough inspection BEFORE you decide on purchasing it.AGAIN I am not bashing anyone, not Tenn Motors nor Doyles tires, rather I hope my experience is a cautionary tale to others to check ANY used vehicle at a shop you trust before you ever sit down and talk prices, if the repairs are more than you can afford or are more than you think the vehicle is worth, my advice is buy something else instead.

I bought a used vehicle at TennMotors on 10/30/2020 and I am extremely pleased with my purchase! Martin (one of the owners) showed me the crossover SUV I was interested in. He was very friendly and knowledgeable about the vehicle and its history. It was already marked down to a great price, especially considering the currently inflated used car market, and TennMotors really lived up to their No Hassle No Haggle policy they advertise. The lot manager, Brent, was very professional and made the financial portion/paperwork a breeze. He also followed up to make sure I was satisfied with my purchase the following week. One of the great things about TennMotors is they have their vehicles inspected by a mechanic prior to selling them, and they really stand behind their vehicles and their business long term. Purchased a used Mercedes SL convertible from them from an online description and video. Scott Culver was easy to work with and followed through on all the details. Unfortunately, when the car was delivered by their delivery contractor to my residence in Ohio it was apparent that the car had some non-functioning electrical/hydraulic systems and other wear issues, and Scott was unaware of these defects, some of which may have been caused by the installation of a new battery without re-programming the systems, as might have been required for full functionality of the vehicle. Scott offered to take the car back and fully refund my money. This is a dealership whose level of integrity is rarely found in todays business climate. Thank you, Scott.

We called on a Saturday to check on availability of a car we liked, but we lived 1 and 1/2 hours away, and they were closing. Steve was kind enough to offer to meet us on a Sunday morning. The process was very easy from start to finish, and we were there just under an hour (from test drive to leaving with our “new to us” car.) Friendly service and I would highly recommend.

I needed to take my daughter back to school in NC and really needed to find a new (used) car to buy and thought I would find something close by and drive it back home to Vermont. Brent drove 150 miles from the dealership and delivered my incredible new car right to my daughters campus, unbelievable service! So this is my first time buying from a dealer I had all the regular worries and concerns everyone feels like theyre going to be played especially if your female. However I got their card from my trusted bartender so that was a good start for me. And so the next day on their lot I was pleasantly surprised with very professional and friendly greetings from all the staff ready to help after I had totaled my car two nights before they understood my concerns and informed me that they have thrown shop down the road and that they could easily put to rest any Curiosities of mine which was very comforting after years of car trouble in my past. I had been too many different places in the last couple days but the staff the environment and to the Toyota Tundra I got one my heart! now driving it as my everyday vehicle not worrying about the usual worries of a used car as this truck was a one-owner and well taken care of, not to mention the owner himself called me up a few days later just to make sure after all of my concerns, that I was happy with my purchase. And that I can reassure him and any future buyers and my friends that I am and would go again.

I sold a 2007 BMW Z4 Roadster convertible to Tennmotors. The staff are friendly and kind. After searching for a good, reliable used Jeep TJ (1997-2006) for months and being disappointed after driving several options, I ran across a possibility during an online search. Since it was about two hours away, I called to ensure it was still available and let them know that my wife and I planned to make the drive from Ashe County NC to Johnson City TN later that day. From the minute we arrived, we were treated like valued customers. We were given the key and time to scrutinize the vehicle and then Tammy came out to provide its background and answer any questions we had before offering the opportunity to drive it. After they obtained our driver’s license and insurance info, we were allowed to take it out for a drive.When we returned, Scott – who I had spoken with initially but was busy when we arrived – greeted us, asking if we had any questions. My wife and our dog (who had accompanied us) went to wait on the porch and Tammy immediately offered water for all three of us. When all of my questions had been addressed and I was interested in purchasing the Jeep, we all went inside to talk money. Scott was very open with how much they had invested in ensuring the vehicle was sound. In addition to their routine of oil change and new tires for all cars on the lot, they had performed several other services – yet they were able to get to the bottom-line, out-the-door price we had in mind.Purchasing a used vehicle – especially a 4WD that is over ten years old – is always a little nerve-rattling. Scott and Tammy were patient and thorough in addressing the few “concerns” we had and willing to meet us halfway to close the deal. After the sale, they were equally thorough and professional. Martin ensured all the proper paperwork was provided and expedited its delivery so we could visit the NC-DMV for our license plate in a timely manner. TennMotors has de-bunked the historical “used car salesman” negative image. They are professional, honest and totally above-board. If you are in the market for a good used vehicle, they have my vote … even if you have to drive two hours to get there!

Super nice. Probably one of the best lots Ive been on. And love my car. They stand behind their vehicles for sure. The clutch in my car was slipping after 1 day. I called them. And within 2 weeks, my car had a brand new clutch and fly wheel. No charge to me and they even gave me a loaner vehicle while mine was being worked on! You dont find lots like this often anymore. Definitely recommend them. If i could give 100 stars, I would!

I purchased a used vehicle from TennMotors around a week ago and had a pleasant experience. Both Tammy and Scott were courteous and had no problems with me taking the vehicle to a third party for inspection prior to my purchase. Furthermore, they did not harass me with phone calls and text messages and they were available anytime I had a question during the process.

Love this place. I bought a 2002 Toyota Avalon. I had some issues with the bank and Tammy was kind enough to stay past business hours to make it all happen. She knew what she was talking about and was very concise. This establishment is very respectful and professional. I will definitely be buying from these kind folks again. There was a couple issues that the vehicle had up front and they had it all fixed up before I bought the car. Tammy is a classy and honest gal that will treat you right. I recently bought a 2014 Ford Focus that was in great condition with great mileage from this place. The price was fair but the customer service was AMAZING. I’ve never experienced a dealership that cares about their potential customers as much as this one did. None of the employees I encountered were pushy, they allowed me to test drive the car without sitting in on the test drive with me, and provided all the documents and information one would be interested in having before purchasing the vehicle.
